Hello everyone! Welcome to my Singed guide! Singed is one of the first champions I played, and has been my default main in top lane ever since when I started playing in Season 3. This guide will show you how I play Singed in the top lane. Note that the best commonly overlooked stat to build on Singed is Movement Speed. MS improves your ability to chase, escape, kite, engage, peel, etc. PROS Late game monster. Extremely tanky, decent damage. Psychological advantage of being a disruptively annoying presence to the enemy team Strong synergy with many items since any mana will be converted to bonus health Unique playstyle that is difficult to counter (especially Proxying) Fast wave clear High base damages and scalings One of the highest base AD in the game (so AA will hurt even without taking or ) Amazingly strong multi-stat steroid in CONS Melee Rather weak early game; can be hard-countered in lane Item/farm dependent Can be kited (although our build will address this) Slow tower pusher (due to low AS despite high base AD) Quick terminology guide: AA = Auto Attack AD = Attack Damage AS = Attack Speed CD = Cooldown CDR = Cooldown Reduction crit = Critical Hit MR = Magic Resist AoE = Area of Effect

I think it's most appropriate to give credit where credit is due. The following link leads to the InvertedComposer's guide on Singed, which is deservingly the most popular on the Solomid site for the champion. Obviously I don't agree with every recommendation he gives, but his section on Singed's special abilities is fantastic.

Your main goal is to farm, farm, farm. Minions, and possibly enemy champions. But due to Singed's weak early game, he has subpar kill pressure and is unlikely to gain a kill in lane. Since two waves of minions yields the same amount of gold as a kill, farming will be a more reliable source of income. Since your mana pool is small for now, avoid using any other skill besides unless there is an opportunity for a kill. will consume a chunk out of your mana pool. If you run out of mana, recall; Singed clears minion waves slowly with AA alone.

With and , your tele ganks are very potent. Keep farming up, but don't forget to keep tabs on the minimap for opportunities to use

Hopefully by now you've farmed up to become the late game monster Singed is known for. You're tanky, your abilities hurt, and you laugh in the face of your enemies because you're an unkillable annoyance. If you have , feel free to splitpush. Singed applies extreme splitpushing pressure since it will likely take 2+ enemy champions to stop him, as Singed will be too fast to be caught, too tank/y to kill, and too beefy to kill quickly without risking You will likely be beefy since you are tanky and heals for a lot, but not unkillable, so be careful and always set up vision. If your team is behind, you may need to stick with the rest of your team when they group in case they get engaged upon. Otherwise, you will join the fight too late due to the 4-second channel for .

Singed is a decent initiator, but avoid engages when is unavailable since the stat boost (especially in MS) is so huge. You have many options. It's up to you to decide what you should do, depending on the situation. If you're on the offensive (you're charging into the enemy team): 1) When you have , try to spread your poison around to reduce the mobility of the enemy team. 2) Fling the carries to make it easier for your team to eliminate them. 3) Zone the enemy! The enemy carries may be afraid of you and run away from the fight. Dive far enough so that the enemy carries are away from the teamfight, but stay close to the teamfight itself to assist your team sooner. 4) As a tank, it's your responsibility to tank turret aggro to keep the rest of your team healthy. If you're on the defensive (you're sticking with your team): 1) When you have , try to spread your poison around to reduce the mobility of the enemy team. 2) Defend your carries by using approaching assassins or CC tanks away. 3) You're extremely tanky! Block skillshots for your team and soak up damage.
