Most of you guys may see Draven as a high skill cap champion. However, with lots of practice he can become really easy to master. It took me 3 weeks to learn him. When I started, I missed many axes however, with progress and time you will be able to memorize how the axes will land and how to control them. First off, controlling the axes is easier than you think. You auto attack the target and then you right-click on where you want the axe to drop. You have to do this fast otherwise the axe will just drop on the spot you're standing. Of course, with time and practice this will make it easier to do in team fights. In the meantime, you may practice in custom games if you think you require it. [highlight]Pros[/highlight] - Very strong in early game, nobody can duel him 1v1 - Has very high damage throughout the whole game - Bleed from your passive does insane damage - [imgsmall=skills/draven/r.png] Is global - Can kill you 100-0 if you are caught out [highlight]Cons[/highlight] - Can be shut down late game because he has no escape besides [imgsmall=skills/draven/w.png] and [imgsmall=skills/draven/e.png] - If on purple side, can be shutdown at level 1 and can be late getting going as he's only good early game - Requires a fair amount of skill to play Draven well - May take a while to learn

These runes are particularly good for laning and late game. Armor pen is very good on Draven because the axes have enhanced dmg on it and with armorpen, it will increase the dmg exponentially. After last whisper, you will notice the insane dmg you can deal and the lifesteal quints is great to have with dorans. Reds: armor pen, great for attack damage steroids Yellows: best in slot Blues: scaling MR is very good when they do not have Lulu, Sona, or Zyra Quints: 2 lifesteal quints for the sustain in lane 1 armor pen for a little bit more spike to your dmg

[title][img=skills/draven/p.png] Passive: Wicked Blades[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] Draven's wicked blades makes his early game really strong with an extra 30 damage every auto attack when he has spinning axes active and it also stacks per hit. [title][img=skills/draven/q.png] Q: Spinning Axe[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] This skill is what Draven is known for. If you do not have 1-2 axes at all the times, you are not playing Draven correctly. This is Draven's bread and build skill and is a very huge damage steroid as it also processes your passive wicked blades and resets your Blood rush. You must be able to catch axes at a decent level otherwise this is not the champion for you. You can practice in custom games to get better at it if you still want to play Draven. [title][img=skills/draven/w.png] W: Blood Rush[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] Resets everytime you catch an axe just a nice att speed and move speed steroid to have, sometimes you can add this at level 2 and just harass it's safer to take than stand aside [title][img=skills/draven/e.png] E: Stand Aside[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] This skill could be used for a cheese at level 2 you should try to learn this trick if you guys haven't already when you kill a creep and level up to 2 instantly add your stand aside (Ctrl+E) and use it on them with 2 axes you may be able to pick up the kill. [title][img=skills/draven/r.png] R: Whirling Death[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] Nothing much to say about his ulti just a global and high damage ulti if you are skilled enough you can pull it back early before it hits and get the full damage on a running target, of course i'm not even good enough to do this yet but you guys can be the first :).

Early game is Draven's domain. He just destroys everything! The best support to have is [imgsmall=champ/thresh.png] when [imgsmall=champ/thresh.png] gets the hook, its should be a free kill everytime with Draven. When playing Draven you want to always hold 2 axes in lane and just harass whenever you have the chance with [imgsmall=skills/draven/w.png]

I think Draven is strong in almost every situation. However, the only con is he may die to nocturne ganks and just really strong bruisers. At this point you probably killed your lane a couple times if you haven't. You should at least be up 20-50 CS otherwise you played Draven wrong. This is where you wanna group for dragons because you're so much stronger than the other AD carry.

In late game, you just want to kill the first target you can attack. This shouldn't be a problem with Draven. It'd probably be 4 hits for each tank, always try to keep 1 [imgsmall=skills/draven/q.png] active and use [imgsmall=skills/draven/w.png]frequently during fights. If you see someone by himself, you can easily kill him in 3-5 shots and win the game off it. Of course, you need to know the position of the enemy.

In Teamfights, you just want to kill the closest target. This is very very very easy with Draven. He can crit around 500-1000 dmg on tanks depending on how tanky they are. Though Draven is able to produce a lot of damage, it's important that you position yourself where you cannot die and kill tanks>supports>carries. Unless the carry is in front of you then you can just kill him, but you should always[imgsmall=skills/draven/r.png] at the start of the fight and hit as much people as possible.

Draven is a pretty hard champion to master but he is very rewarding once you learn him. If you guys wanna go the exta length to learn him, I think it is well worth it. The 3 weeks it took me to learn Draven was really frustrating however, the benefits are rewarding. So, try your best before you give up! :D
