[center][highlight]Why should I play Xin?[/highlight][/center] Xin Zhao has great early game and his ganks are also very good. He falls damage wise as the game goes on but his utility is still good so hes like Shaco but not useless late game. I play him in silver division but this should work just as well in higher divisions.

[center][highlight]Marks:[/highlight][/center] AD for killing squishies better, Armor penetration or tankier opponents, AS for faster Q knockup, sustain and faster clear because of machete's passive. [center][highlight]Seals:[/highlight][/center] You need these or otherwise you die in jungle. [center][highlight]Glyps:[/highlight][/center] You could go damage here but I prefer MR for tankiness. [center][highlight]Quints:[/highlight][/center] Here you can again go AD, Armor penetration, AS or even movement quints but I prefer AD.

Only one target can be challenged at a given time. [/highlight] Armor penetration is nice, even more important is that this makes you challenge your target. Xin Zhao gains bonus armor and magic resistance for 6 seconds for each champion hit. If a challenged target is hit by the sweep, it is unaffected by the knockback.[/highlight] [highlight]Cost: 100 Mana[/highlight] [highlight]Radius: 375[/highlight] [highlight]Cooldown: 120/110/100 seconds[/highlight] [highlight]Base Damage: 75/175/275 (+1.0 per attack damage)[/highlight] [highlight]Bonus Armor and Magic Resist: 15/20/25 per champion hit[/highlight] I love this, you can protect your carry with this so well or get everyone away from yours when killing theirs. Note that this does percentage from CURRENT health so if you are going for kill use this straight after your E.

E first for slow and CD, W second to get third strike of Q as fast as possible. Obviously put point to your ultimate everytime you can. Also I've seen Q maxed second in high elo streams few times, tried it and it felt so bad. Just go with W.

[item=mercurys-treads] OR [item=ninja-tabi] [item=locket-of-the-iron-solari][item=warmogs-armor] These you get every game, no matter what, then you have few options for damage and tankiness. [item=randuins-omen] Very nice especially if you are initiating since they will most probably try get you off from their carries and then you just slow entire team because of passive and active option. [item=frozen-heart] Get this if atleast three in their team has uses for attack speed. I don't like getting this item myself however so ask if you have something like Malphite etc in your team if he would get it. [item=frozen-mallet] Get this instead of warmog's if you are fed but atleast I miss the health regen quite often. [item=sunfire-cape] I used to rush this but doesn't feel so good anymore. If their team is full ad you can consider this but I wouldn't. Now to damage items. [img=items/the-black-cleaver.png] I get this almost always as first damage item since normally I get mercs. This also helps your other physical damage dealers because of the passive. You won't probably get past this since you are jungler, you don't have too much money and kills should be on your carries. [item=zephyr] Get this as your first damage item if you didn't get [img=items/mercurys-treads.png] you need the tenacity and its stats are also quite nice. [item=wits-end] This is quite nice even if they don't have double ap, and the attack speed allows you get third strike from your Q faster. This is just so nice ^^ [item=blade-of-the-ruined-king] I prefer BotRK over [img=items/the-bloodthirster.png] because health is so strong S3 that almost every game there will be atleast 2-3 quite high health targets. However 99% of the time game has ended already when you get here.

Go wolves/blue and ask for smiteless, if they gave go red right after and look for ganking. If they didnt give you smiteless go wraiths -> wolves -> red -> wraiths. Now you should be 4 and look for ganks. If theres still none farm ~850 gold and go get boots, madreds and few wards and pots. Now this is how you gank: pop W, Q and charge in with E. If you have fast reactions and good ping you can try get that extra autoattack with doing one AA and right after Q since it resets attack timer. However my both ping and reactions are slow and you get the knockup faster so I dont myself do it. Also atleast in my ratings people just won't get pink wards even if I ask so get one youself and gank the lane whichever you want. Some of you might say get oracles but I didn't like it even pre-nerf, its up to you if you want to get it.

Well, nothing special, this is where your damage starts to fall a little bit but your utility is still awesome. Just do what you would do early game and try get little team fights and after objectives.

Okay, the most important part of game. This is where every unecessary death can mean losing game. DO NOT GET CAUGHT and go with team. Here you can get oracles if you want, 400g doesn't feel so bad anymore. Also get elixirs before team fight to get better chances. In team fights, you have two roles whichever you choose. Initiating and vanishing their ap/ad carry. Other one which I prefer and Xin probably is better in is protecting his own carries. You have knockup, AoE slow and AoE knockback. Especially ulti is VERY nice for getting their entire team off yours.

[img=champ/shaco.png] He can counter jungle but you outdamage him in every point of game so just duel him and ping for help if he used his Q to do more damage so you can get a kill. Also you are a ganking jungler so losing jungle farm shouldn't be too bad. He WILL gank so you can try setup a countergank if you see your laner pushing quite easily. [img=champ/leesin.png] Just like Shaco expect you can't duel him, just try to juke his Q's and run when you see him unless you have your laner close enough to help. He has pretty similiar stages in game you have, falls later expect in utility. [img=champ/jax.png] You can't duel him but he won't counter jungle so you shouldn't find him from your jungle. He gets stronger as game goes on and snowballs VERY HARD so ward a lot so he can't get ganks off. If he somehow gets fed your #1 priority in team fights is focus him to protect your carries. Can't think anymore champions that could be a problem and countering is pretty much for laners, not junglers.

So this is all I could think about jungling with Xin, notify me in comments and I think about it and try to answer it or even add to guide.
