Hello I am Horse Unicorn Man and here is my squirrel guide. Squirrel has always been a strong carry, but hard to play, and not many comprehensive guides for him. So, I wrote this thing for you education and entertainment. Ratmin is a niche pick because he's squishy and has shit mobility, but can single-handedly carry even the worst of teams when played in the right hands. You pick Twitch when you have a team that can protect you, when the enemy team doesn't have Jayce, Zed, and Leona all jumping on your asshole at once, or when you have a botlane matchup you know you can stomp and get rolling into carry mode.

The matchups I've described above are most of the 4.10 tier 1 picks, and some of the other notables. I'd say Twitch's only hard counters would be [img=champ/caitlyn.png][img=champ/corki.png][img=champ/quinn.png]. He'll do well against most other ADC's, but bottom lane these days will be mostly decided by items (are you against a [img=items/infinity-edge.png] or [img=items/blade-of-the-ruined-king.png] ADC?) and supports.

Tier 1: [img=champ/morgana.png] - My #1 choice. A good Dark Binding can win you lane, and it scales well into the late-game. Not to mention Black Shield has become a defining support skill in the botlane. Ignite runs just as well as Exhaust on Morgana, and she's well suited for a kill/farm-champ lane if you wanted to revert to the old frontload AD, IE>PD Twitch. [img=champ/thresh.png] - King of supports. Twitch don't got an escape? Click lantern. Great CC and catch potential, and Box synergizes well with Ratatatatatatata. [img=champ/zyra.png] - Like Morgana but with crazy zone potential and the damage of an AP carry, but no Black Shield. [img=champ/leona.png] - Pretty straightforward...CC enemies, pop passives, kill enemies. [img=champ/janna.png] - Ardent Censor the turret for lolz. But actually Janna has always been the most underplayed tier 1/2 support and is the only support with the potential to peel enemies off you for the entire duration of your ult. Picking her also completely negates most of Twitch's counters, and will keep you farming safely until you reach late-game monster status. Tier 2: [img=champ/lulu.png] - Strong lane presence and trading power; shields are godsend in botlane. Her ult is actually crucial in leashing enemy melee tanks. [img=champ/alistar.png] - I really gotta explain this guy? Just make sure he can combo. [img=champ/nami.png] - Heals, hard CC, AOE CC, buffs - she got it all. [img=champ/sona.png] - High early game damage, sustain, great ult synergy. Only drawback is her character model is fat as fuck and she's super squishy. In the current meta of Morgana, Leona, Thresh, etc, a Sona support will have to play real careful and smart to not get wrecked by CC. [img=champ/zilean.png] - Submarine torpedo is topkek.

Levels 1-4: This stage in laning is all about who has what abilities when. Lvl 2 is crucial for Twitch because Cask and Expunge are all he needs to trade effectively, and most other ADC's will only have their main damage spell + their escape ([img=champ/caitlyn.png] is notable because her E + Q combo makes her even more dangerous lvl 2, and you shouldn't go in on her if both are up...however, some Caitlyn's start W, which would hopefully be useless in trades). If you have a Morgana support with Dark Binding and Black Shield, your level 2 trading and even kill potential will be almost unrivaled. With level 2 being Twitch's optimal time for trading, bottom lane gets scarier for him as enemy supports put points in more of their skills, especially [img=champ/leona.png][img=champ/lulu.png][img=champ/zyra.png] and such. Against those types of matchups, it's not worth it to even go for CS at the risk of getting hit by CC, and I'll passive until level 6. Other than that, keeping in mind the dynamics of different ADC itemizations is the key to winning botlane.

As mentioned continuously throughout this guide, building Botrk, Brutalizer, and finally Youmuu's power spikes give Twitch huge mid-game power. In that period of time, you hold enormous threat on the enemy ADC, who might only have an [img=items/infinity-edge.png], or a [img=items/blade-of-the-ruined-king.png] and [img=items/zeal.png]. They should know that if they show farming bot lane alone, it would be extremely easy for you to gank and kill them with stealth, and any overconfidence/overextension should be punished by you. Moreover, your mid-game teamfight presence will be much greater than an [img=items/infinity-edge.png] ADC's, and you should press this advantage to secure Dragons and Outer Turrets.
