Hi, I'm Kung120 of Tactical Gaming. I am making these guides to help out players in the League of Legends division and I want to share them with everyone. Nobody is a master of all champions, so I will be calling upon others in Tactical Gaming to assist me. Credit will be given where it is earned. I plan to keep every guide up to date and add more information as time goes by. [imgext=]

Pros [.]His [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] is one of the most powerful pokes in the entire game. It also applies a -40% attack speed debuff. [.]AoE damage on his [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] has a .9 AP ratio and a very high base damage! [.][imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] gives Gragas the ability to move through most walls, it is an amazing positioning ability. [.][imgsmall=skills/gragas/r.png] has an insanely high base damage and a 1:1 AP ratio. (Also applies -40% attack speed debuff) [.]Great lane sustain with his [imgsmall=skills/gragas/p.png] and [imgsmall=skills/gragas/w.png]. [.] Takes 18% less damage with his [imgsmall=skills/gragas/w.png] Cons [.]His damage abilities are all able to be dodged. [.]His [imgsmall=skills/gragas/r.png] can sometimes end up pushing enemies to safety.

[title]Happy Hour[/title] Heals 2% of his health every time he uses an ability (4 sec cooldown) [title]Barrel Roll[/title] This is Gragas's main ability. It can be used to poke down enemies before team fights and applies a -40% attack speed de-buff at max level. Typically one of the best ways to hit this ability is to aim it behind the enemy, as their first instinct is to run away. It has a range of 1100, which is 200 longer than Xerath's [imgsmall=skills/xerath/q.png] (Without Locus of Power) [title]Drunken Rage[/title] Oh god I can't tell you how much I am in love with this skill. It gives you large amounts of mana, AD, and damage reduction. The mana because less relevant as the game goes on, but the AD and damage reduction scale in to lategame very well. Use this before you go into fights or push towers. [title]Body Slam[/title] Applies a 35% slow and decent damage. This ability allows Gragas to move through most walls as well. [title]Explosive Cask[/title] Very high damage ability on a low cooldown, also knocks enemies away from it. I prefer it to finish people off, once you hit level 6 you can use it along with your regular combo ( [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] + [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] ) to burst down the enemy AP in lane, even if it doesn't kill them it should give you enough time to use an another ability and assure a kill.

[imgext=] [title]Greater Marks of Insight[/title] Each of these gives you .95 magic penetration (8.55 total), this is a great way to assure maximum damage from your abilities. [imgext=] [title]Greater Seals of Replenishment[/title] Every one of these seals give .41 mana regeneration per 5 seconds (3.69 total). These are useful if you find yourself spamming your abilities and are very aggressive, but after you can consistently get blue buff they become irrelevant. Another type that I often use is Greater Seals of Vitality which give you 1.08 health per level (9.72 total). [imgext=] [title]Greater Glyphs of Warding[/title] These will give you 1.49 magic resist each (13.41 total). They are the greatest defense against other AP champions. [imgext=] [title]Greater Quintessences of Potency[/title] These quintessences give 4.95 flat ability power each (14.85 total) and help with your early game burst.

Is the standard starting build. You choose this because boots of speed will help you dodge skill shots, escape ganks, and get into position to use your abilities. Three health pots are used to negate any damage you may take to help keep you in lane and getting experience for as long as possible. Is an amazing little item. For only 475 Gold you get +100 Health, +5 Mana regen every 5 seconds, and 15 AP. Stacking these is very viable, and can turn the tides in your favor if you find yourself falling behind in lane. I will get 1-2 usually and three if I am getting dominated. This is a standard AP-Burst item, as it helps keep you at your maximum damage by penetrating the enemies magic resist. If you get this before the enemy AP, it is essentially insta-lose for them. 140 AP and a percent boost in AP. Percents are the most valuable thing in the League of Legends, as they scale indefinitely. This means that the bonuses will never stop, and each time you get more AP, the total AP + 30% is recalculated. [title]At this point you must ask yourself a few questions.[/title] [imgext=] Get this instead of Rod of Ages. Rod of ages gives Health, Mana, and AP for 3035 gold. Gragas doesn't need health, and blue buff is just fine as a supply of mana. [title]Read This![/title] Now, this is just a "one size fits all" flow chart. For example, Maybe you are the only person who does magic damage on your team, in which case you may want to get a Void Staff / Deatfire Grasp as fast as possible instead of following this flow chart. As long as you build against the enemy team and for the benefit of your team, you will do fine.

This is the standard mid set of summoner spells. Ignite allows you to deal extra damage to enemies, giving you the upper hand in trades. Flash allows you to escape ganks, catch up to enemies, and escape AoE abilities. [title]Other Options[/title] Heal is a fine choice if you are matched up against a very strong burst champion such as [imgsmall=champ/cassiopeia.png] [imgsmall=champ/kassadin.png] [imgsmall=champ/leblanc.png] Exhaust isn't a very common pick for me. I will only pick this if I am against a "ganking jungler". Smite : This is not a jungle Gragas guide, although I hear it is very viable. Teleport is a summoner spell I would only take if I am solo-laning up top.

[title]Yes[/title] Gragas is a great pick against any champion that uses massive amounts of attack speed. Champions like Sion who require not getting bursted down quickly suffer against Gragas. His long range allows him to out poke almost any other champion and then his [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] allows him to move in for the kill, so any champion with short range abilities is going to have a bad day. [title]No[/title] These champions are mean to Gragas because they don't want to taste his damage. Ahri is just too mobile and can make you look dumb when you use your [imgsmall=skills/gragas/r.png] and she uses [imgsmall=skills/ahri/r.png].

[.]Focus on farming. [.]Steal enemy wraiths, its super easy with Gragas! Take your own only if your jungler doesn't need them. [.]As with most any champion, buy wards to protect from ganks. [.] If you are laning against a particularly aggressive player just sit back and [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] all day. [.]If the enemy jungler ganks you often, consider taking [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] at level 3. [.]If you are against someone squishy, you can harass them down with barrels, which will discourage them from initiating on you, even when their jungler comes. [.]Ideally, you want to position your [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] where you can last hit minion waves AND harass the enemy. [.]Your [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] is an extremely versatile and useful skill. You can use it to escape ganks, move through walls, or even to catch up to an escaping enemy.

[.] Blue buff. Get it every time it comes up and poke the enemy all day. With Blue buff you can bring members of the enemy team to very low health even before an initiation, pushing the battle strongly in your favor. [.] Continue to push and farm your lane, when your minions are at the enemy tower, wander off to gank lanes / control buffs.

[.] Poke the enemy team before the fight. [.] Stand back and toss [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] until a few of the enemies are dead or unable to do damage, then [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] into melee range for massive burst damage. [.] Usage of your [imgsmall=skills/gragas/r.png] late-game is very flexible, here is a few things you can do with it : Poke (Only really useful for poke if the enemy has no life-steal or way of healing) STEAL BARON! (Just hope the enemies smite is on cooldown) Push a squishy enemy into the middle of your team Counter-initiate Save teammates

[.]If you get the chance use [imgsmall=skills/gragas/r.png] while the enemy is near your tower, thus pushing them into range and assuring "tons of damage". [.]You can use [imgsmall=skills/gragas/r.png] to push a recalling enemy off of their tower and secure a kill. [.]Gragas's [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] and [imgsmall=skills/gragas/r.png] make it very easy for you to clear a path right to the enemy AD carry, and his [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] allows you to deal massive amounts of damage from far away, sometimes even farther than their attack range. [.]Before using [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png] to inflict damage, use [imgsmall=skills/gragas/w.png] to maximize your damage and minimize enemy damage. [.]Your [imgsmall=skills/gragas/q.png] does not interrupt [imgsmall=skills/gragas/e.png], allowing you to throw a barrel as you are moving.
