Hey there today I'll show you how i play solo queue Corki. How i believe you should play solo queue is dominating your lane while carrying. What do i mean by that? Well it means win early game, win mid game, and win late game. The best hero at doing that currently imo is Corki. I ensure victory by being powerful at all points of the game.

[imgext=http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i421/VoidEternal/standardcorki.jpg] This is the standard runes i take when i don't know who i'm going to lane against. The enemies teamcomp would be a mix of passive and aggressive solo laners that could beat me in lane on another rune setup. Ex. Vlad, Sion, Miss Fortune, Etc. [imgext=http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i421/VoidEternal/aggressivecorki.png] Reginald's setup that works fairly well to dps as much as possible. Use this against weak laners Ex. Morgana, Sivir, Ashe, Etc. [imgext=http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i421/VoidEternal/rushtriforce.png] This is for when i rush Triforce. If i have an early game team or the enemy has many late game carries Triforce allows for stronger dps in team fights and stronger pushing.

Duo Lane With the new metagame of AD carry bottom with support i have put duo laning as higher criteria then solo laning. That being said Corki absolutely dominates in this aspect. He will destroy any other AD carry with his high aoe zoning abilities. Phosphorous bomb is an absolute must in maxing. The miss chance is very powerful in the small brawls that will happen in lane. Simply hide in the bush and engage in massive amounts of harassment. Despite what people tell you push the lane very hard. Valkyrie, flash, and bush advantage makes it difficult for any jungler to gank successfully. Pushing to their tower makes it very difficult for the enemy to beat you in cs. If done correctly you should be winning at about 20 - 30 cs. Which is great because that amount of gold is equal to a kill. Solo Lane Spell Shields: Many champions contain spell shields that will mitigate your phosphorous bomb. Making it a weak spell against them past level 1. I switch my skill order to: [imgsmall=skills/corki/q.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/w.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/e.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/e.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/e.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/r.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/e.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/q.png][imgsmall=skills/corki/e.png] To sum it all up i max Gatling gun first. Its a physical ability that can penetrate many spell shields. Even against enemies like sion typically he'll stun you and blow his shield before you're able to burst it down. Don't attempt to defeat him in burst. If you activate gatling gun before his initial stun it'll keep shooting lowering his armor possibly destroying his shield. This will enable you to continue dealing damage on him while his abilities are on cooldown. AD Ranged Carries: Take the standard skill order, but be careful. Most of the time spamming your abilities will push the lane. People know to stand behind creeps to avoid Corki's harass. Use phosphorous bomb and hit them with 1 auto attack every time the cooldown is back. This minimizes damage on yourself. Don't forget to last hit. Try to avoid hitting creeps with your spells. Corki defeats every AD Carry in lane the exception is Miss Fortune, Urgot, and Ezreal where the battle is a game of skill. Eventually, their health will dwindle to the point where you can tower dive. I would suggest not doing this and forcing them to use their Flash + Ghost first. Then when they go back you can either push the tower, return to base, counter jungle, or gank another lane. AP Carries: Skill order depends on who you're up against, but generally i do the same thing against all of them. HARASS as much as possible at level 1 and 2. Constant aggression to lower their hp. I do this because most AP Carries are mid game to late game champions. Early game their spells are on to high of a cooldown to effectively harass an enemy. The main thing to avoid is not necessarily the opposing enemies damage, but their creep damage. A common goal i set for myself is to never harass past the enemies minions at levels 1 - 5. This will give you a health advantage and hopefully creep score advantage. In doing this they will either go back early giving you lane domination or staying and not harassing you. Tanks: Tank harassers like Malphite, Chogath, and Alistar all rely on the same thing (Their spells). Do the same thing as the AP Carries except you can possibly deny them from experience if you've put down enough damage. Roamers: Okay these guys are honestly a pain in the ass. The main thing to do is never use Valkyrie offensively. It'll get you killed. I use two different methods to deal with roamers. 1.Fortification potion with very early lane or roamer kill. 2.Play defensively wait till level 6 and spam missile harassment for a lane kill. Try to keep the creeps at the middle of the lane. and Take my first runebook. The way I defeat Urgot in lane is to dodge his "E" skill and blow everything you have on him for the amount of time its on cooldown. Irelia is a bit tricky, but i treat her like tank laners except more cautiously. Zone her at levels 1 - 3. She'll try to last hit with her "Q" make sure to punish her for it. When it all comes down to it, its a battle of pure skill using mechanics like positioning, last hitting, and juking. A very powerful laning AP mage. Like most mages his weakness is very early in the game at level 1 - 2. Most people make the mistake of not zoning him at these levels. Its very necessary to destroy his hp (phosphorous bomb + 1 auto attack) as much as possible before he can regenerate any of it. Corki out ranges Vlad use that to your advantage. You need a kill on Vlad before he hits level 9 or else you can say "bye bye" to any chance of laning without a gank.

Starting Items I grab these items against a really weak and passive laner, but strong gankers. Ex. I'm laning against an ashe, but they have a shaco jungle and alistar roamer. You need to get your items as fast as possible and the sapphire crystal allows you to rush Manamune. It wouldn't be smart to play aggressive or attempt a kill. Basically, its going to be a farm game having a 400 gold advantage is going to be very handy. The only time i'd ever take these is if i'm going to be laning aggressively against against an AD champion. Meaning i plan on killing them. If you're up against Urgot or Irelia make sure to take my first runebook. Don't attempt to kill them if they take Cloth armor and 5 Hp pots. The items i buy when i'm in a skillshot war. Ex. Ezreal, Urgot, Nidalee, Etc. I'll play really defensive dodge their skillshots and focus on last hits. This is if my team has a weak jungle and we're mainly a late game team. Harassing is possible, but going for a pure 1 v 1 kill would be very dangerous and i don't recommend. I don't like Dorans items anymore, but they're still the best in a level 1 team fights. So, if your team is planning on ganking that opposing Shaco in the jungle make sure to grab a Dorans item to guarantee your win. A new favorite against pesky casters like Vlad, Anivia, and Annie. Mantle will ensure greater lane domination and can be built into Hexdrinker or Mercury Treads. Core Items My standard build against a well rounded team. I use this build over Chauster's because in solo queue you can't rely on people to protect you as carry. In certain cases you'll have to 1 v 1 enemies. A mixture of offensive and defensive items allows you to stay in the fight. It may lower your total DPS output, but sustainability with damage is better, then pure damage. As stated in my runes section I rush triforce against a very late game team. This is a very situational item build and the second you grab the core stop Csing and attempt team fights or pushes. You'll want to win the game as fast as possible before the enemy farms up and reaches carry status. You can also rush Infinity Edge if you like it better. Final Items If the game somehow lasts this long finish the game with these. Start stacking up on elixirs whenever necessary. Situational Items This is for tanky melee DPS bruisers. If one of them gets fed they'll be on you like glue. The slow and armor is going to help you kite them a lot easier and survive. Having problems with Leblanc bursting you down? Hexdrinker is a very good underestimated defensive item. The shield will save your life more often then you think. If the enemy team is filled with suppression or hard CC. Notably a strong item that can replace Last Whisper to deal true damage if you see no one stacking armor. I personally don't like to base my damage on luck, but Infinity Edge is still a strong DPS choice. If you're doing really really bad in lane and super behind in farm this is optimal. Do note that you should be building mostly defensive if this is the case anyway. Another great defensive item. Been recently successful in my optimal build replacing Mercury Treads with Berserk Greaves. I'll need to do more extensive testing to create a possible defensive item build.

In a team fight you'll mostly want to stay in the back and poke with your spells. Eventually when the full on fight initiates everyone on the enemy team is going to be gunning for you. Never ever run toward the enemy in the middle of a fight (chasing) always let them come to you. Like i said they all want to kill you so keep the distance between them and you as far as possible while being able to deal damage. Save Valkyrie as a defensive maneuver. Don't forget to use terrain to your advantage!

Thanks for reading my guide. Hopefully its helped you. If anyone has any suggestions hit me up in the comments box and I'll look over it. As the metagame changes so will this guide!
