Hey guys it's me Allorim coming back for some more guides. It has been almost a year or more since my last guide and I'm going to start coming out with some more. If you have never seen any of my guides allow me to introduce myself. I have been playing LoL since the Wukong patch and I main top lane. I was Diamond in Season 2 and Diamond 1 in Season 3, and I have a dream of making it big one day in LoL. My mains are Wukong, Renekton, Volibear, and Vladimir on top lane but I know a lot about the game in any position. While my guides may not be as good as a person who REALLY mains the champion. I hope that my insight and ideas can help you improve as a player and give you the general guidelines to the champion. If you add me in game I will accept it eventually, but I get a lot of invites so you might have to wait a bit (I also go through regular deleting of friends, so if you get deleted just add me back again). Stream: www.twitch.tv/allorim YouTube: www.youtube.com/user/allorimlol I have a lot of videos on YouTube with many different champions (check them out if you can!) I try to stream as much as I can, but my internet sucks and I don't have a good schedule sometimes so I might not stream too often. (here's an example of some of my pro Vladimir plays!) [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_QT1HPl4QM[/youtube] (just kidding, here's an actual full game [highlight]NOTE:[/highlight] If you are new to my videos/stream, I stream with friends on Skype a lot and we act like dicks to each other for fun, none of us actually get offended from insulting each other or bagging on each other for playing bad.) Vladimir is a sustained DPS AP carry who is tanky. You like the sound of that? I know I do. All jokes aside; Vladimir is without doubt one of the best late game carries in the game due to his massive AoE damage buff for his team, his ridiculous sustain, his untargetable blood pool, his constant damage output, and his tanky nature from his passive. Vladimir is really good at a low skill cap so learning how to play this champ will be a piece of cake. If you enjoy becoming a beast late game and dominating the enemy team with your full build, then Vladimir is for you. [highlight]Pros[/highlight] [.]Manaless [.]Sustain [.]Sustained dps [.]Reliable escape [.]AoE damage [.]Great late game [highlight]Cons[/highlight] [.]Takes time to get going [.]Early game can be a pain [.]Loses to people with massive sticking power [.]Long cooldown on his escape

[img=items/warmogs-armor.png] - I just don't think it's worth it. You already have a ton of HP from the AP you are getting, but your passive doesn't work so well the other way around. Stacking HP doesn't give very much AP, but stacking AP gives a lot of HP. Getting a pure HP item is just no good. [img=items/spirit-visage.png] - I mean it's OK, but that's just it... It's ok... We want what is GOOD! And if you need MR, you get yourself an [imgsmall=items/abyssal-scepter.png]. Getting extra CDR is great and all but that won't help you that much when you should be getting plenty from Blue Pot and [imgsmall=items/spirit-of-the-spectral-wraith.png]. [img=items/deathfire-grasp.png] - Just please no. You are a sustain damage champion. You have a burst, but it takes a bit to go through.

This is the struggle of Vladimir. Vladimir is strong when he gets items, not necessarily off base damage. The best way I found to play Vladimir Early game is to Q the enemy as much as possible and try not to commit to any fight that doesn't look like it would go even or in the enemies favor. If you want to win the lane always trade positively, going even in a trade can be bad for you (until you get spell vamp because then you can sustain really easily). If you do get hit a little in lane, poked down or something, just use your Q to last hit minions for easy cs and sustain. But Allorim! Why go in the offense tree if you play safer in early game!?! Well, just because you play safe does NOT mean you can follow up with aggressiveness. You must know your limits to play Vladimir early game because his cooldowns and sustain are much worse during this phase. However, there WILL be many opportunities for you to commit to a fight and end up with a kill or an out trade.

There are 2 ways to end up in mid game with Vladimir. You are either winning your lane, most likely dominating in CS because Vlad is a boss CSer, and you have pushed down a tower. Or you are even/losing and you are just kind of CSing with the enemy top, no one is particularly dominating the lane in towers. At this point you have to make a decision. You need to get your ass in gear and start pushing like hell in the lane/putting pressure on the laner/enemy jungler. Or group with your team to push other turrets/get dragon. You might be wondering WHY would you want to put pressure on top in made game by yourself. Well assuming that the enemy top has a difficult time fighting you 1v1, he will need his junglers help, and if their jungler goes top to kill you, that leaves your team to get dragon/other turrets. So the enemy got 1 Vladimir for a dragon and a kill... Worth.

At this point you should be really really strong and should definitely grouping with your team to push turrets or get a big objective. At this point, you should be decently tanky thanks to your passive and this allows you to initiate. Yes, that's right, a Vladimir initiating. This is especially good if you have [imgsmall=items/zhonyas-hourglass.png] because when you initiate as Vlad, the entire enemy team can focus you, but good luck to them if they try and kill you when you have 4 seconds of untargetable. I like to flash and use my R on 3-5 people, they all jump on my, I E and W fast, laugh that they took a ton of damage and I'm still not dead, come back up from my W and use [imgsmall=items/zhonyas-hourglass.png], laugh that they can't touch me, and continue the stomp train. [highlight]Quick note[/highlight] - Baron Throws - Vladimir is the king at destroying an enemy at Baron. His huge AoE along with Baron's magic damage debuff absolutely WRECKS the enemy team and with your W/Zhonya's, you become a huge pain and an immediate threat to their team. If you see the enemy doing Baron. Hit that 4-5 man ult because they are stacked on Baron like most teams do, E them for a ton of damage, Q the primary target, and W under everyone as the mess goes on.

As I have said before, Vladimir is not that hard of a champion to master but I'll run down some combos. [center][title]In lane[/title][/center] Your main combo here will be a quick [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/e.png]->[imgsmall=skills/vladimir/q.png]->auto combo and then run away for your cooldowns to be back up. The good thing about Vladimir is that the more you trade the more damage you will end up doing over time due to the stacks of your [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/e.png]. It is important to auto attack as much as possible so you can maximize your harass, even when it doesn't to that much damage, every bit counts. When level 6 comes your combo will always start with [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/r.png] so you can maximize its % increase of damage. [highlight]Quick note[/highlight] - using enemy creeps to your advantage - Sometimes it is actually better to fight in an enemy minion wave ([highlight]IMPORTANT:[/highlight] if you have your spell vamp. Preferably your wraith). The reason for this is that if you use [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/e.png] (assuming its 4 stacks like it should be if you are fighting) in a minion wave, you will not only clear the wave, but you will more than make up the health it cost to use [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/e.png]. This also applies to your R. [center][title]In a team fight[/title][/center] Pretty simple here. Stack up your [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/e.png] to 4 stacks before the fight and try and [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/q.png] minions to keep at full HP. The best combo for a team fight is hitting multiple people with [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/r.png], using [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/e.png] to hurt everyone around, [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/q.png]ing the target you want dead the most, and then using [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/w.png] to keep alive ([imgsmall=items/zhonyas-hourglass.png] if you need to). This combo is the most efficient because it maximizes your ult usage and keeps damage flow coming when your [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/w.png] ends (because by then your [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/e.png] and [imgsmall=skills/vladimir/q.png] should be back up)

I will be answering questions from the comments section page here.
