IS MAGIC Hello there! My name is TheVeirtex and today i'm bringing you an awesome guide on how to play Hecarim, the way of playing him which i think is the best. You may saw this item build, runes and masteries presented by SivHD, and idd they're his, though i thought i'll do my variation of it and it'll be nice if his guide was writen down somewhere. So possibly after seeing item build you thought: WTF? Because it's not something that you've seen often and yes, this build is unique, but it works 100%. Though i'll be explaning a build in next chapters so stay tuned. PS: If SivHD in some kind of way thinks that i'm coping his build and guide - i'm not. I do not anything that he does own in his video, i just thought that his hard work and brilliant ideas should be written down on the paper so that everyone can see, cause as we all know Youtube accounts is harder to spread then builds on popular sites. (like this one)

[imgsmall=champ/hecarim.png] is one of the best jungler IMHO right now, your build will grant you enough speed to charge into enemy even if there's [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png] around, and your passive will grant you bonus attack damage which will be enough to kill an enemy that you're ganking. With your movement speed you'll be able easly to counter gank, counter jungle, critboom their carry and escape from any situationa at any time, which i'll be explaning later on.

Pros: [.]Awesome gank ability - no matter if wards are around your ganks are successful. [.]Awesome movement speed - you can clear jungle camps faster than any jungler which lets you gank more often. [.]Wearing down ad carry - you can focus him like no other champion due to you awesome [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/p.png] [.]Awesome escape ability - along with your movement speed, item build and [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] + [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/r.png] you can escape like no other champion from any situation. [.]High steal potential - due to your movement speed you can steal anything you want with your smite and escape while laughing at enemys. [.]Awesome early game - you can carry your teammates in early game, which will allow them to carry the late game. [.]Fun - critboom hecarim is one heck of a fun champion. Cons: [.]Not as awesome surviviability as offtank hecarim - while building a critboom hecarim you don't have surv like every other offtank, though you still can survive much due to you [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] and [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] [.]Doesn't work so much on high elo - critboom hecarim doesn't really have a place in high elo (1,6k+), so you won't see him in turnaments or stuff like that, though still high elo players can have fun, while playing him. [.]Not as top - critboom hecarim is recommended to play only in the jungle, i won't rather use him at the top lane. [.]Not as awesome early/mid like late - Hecarim doesn't have as awesome late game like early/mid game, though his early/mid game is strong enough to carry your teammates in early, so there they can help you in late game.

[imgext=http://fooh.pl/pokaz/2989777448.png] Which runes and why.. [imgext=http://www.solomid.net/guide/runes/mark4.png] x9 Greater Mark of Strength [title]Explanation:[/title] Always the additional attack damage is good, i'll consider changing these for AS runes if you want to. [imgext=http://www.solomid.net/guide/runes/seal1.png] x9 Greater Seal of Resilience [title]Explanation:[/title] Armor is awesome in the jungle, gives you more survivability and later on it the game you'll be able to soak up some more dmg if needed. [imgext=http://www.solomid.net/guide/runes/glyph3.png] x9 Greater Glyph of Warding [title]Explanation:[/title] Same thing as for armor seals, magic resist will grant you more survivability while ganking and also later on the game. [imgext=http://www.solomid.net/guide/runes/quint3.png] x3 Greater Quintessence of Swiftness [title]Explanation:[/title] As i said before movement speed grants you additional attack damage, these quins are the best for Heca in my opinion, bonus movement speed and attack dmg lets you clear camps faster and gank better.

[title] Passive: Warpath[/title] [number]Hecarim ignores unit collision and gains attack damage equal to 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5 / 25% of his bonus movement speed.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] One of the best passives in the game, not only you can increase your movement speed for better ganks and escapes, but you're granted attack damage from it. If used smart, this passive is extremly strong and funny. Not only that you ignore unit collision, which form me personally is the best thing in the game, because i just hate when minions do block me. None the less ignoring unit collision grants you awesome positioning in teamfights and ganks - you don't have to worry about passing over the minions or enemys, you just go right trough them and that's the whole story. [title] Q: Rampage[/title] [number]Hecarim cleaves nearby enemies, dealing physical damage. (50% damage to minions and monsters) If Hecarim damages at least one enemy unit with this attack, he gains a stack of Rampage, reducing the base cooldown of this skill by 1 second for a short duration. This effect can stack up to 2 times.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Skill that many people think you should max first, though you should not, you've good damage output even if you max it second, so there's no worries, because your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] is better for cleaning camps in the jungle, healing urself and counter jungling. Try to keep this skill up between the camps so you can use it as much as possible, due to its cooldown gets reduced whenever it's stacked up. [title] W: Spirit of Dread[/title] [number]Hecarim surrounds himself with the spirit of dread for 4 seconds, dealing magic damage per second to all enemies within its reach. Additionally, Hecarim is healed for a percentage of the damage enemies within the area take from any source. Healing from damage dealt to minions is capped per cast.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Skill that keeps you alive in the jungle and in teamfights and idd you should max it first it has some nice AOE damage output and is extremly strong when counter jungling, not only that whenever you or your teammater, or even minions attack someone while around aura that this skill is creating you got healed up, which means you can tank turrets easliy, survive in teamfights and more, i know it cause i do it all the time. With [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] this skill is extremly powerful and makes you even more tanky. [title] E: Devastating Charge[/title] [number]Hecarim gains 75% movement speed over the course of three seconds, ending one second afterward. His next attack knocks the target back, dealing physical damage based on how far Hecarim has traveled during Devastating Charge's duration.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Your ganking skill, it will take you a while until you'll time it right, because you dont want to waste it, use it and stop right in front of your enemy, you want to charge into them with it, later on you'll have enough movement speed to use it ealier, but be careful with it. Max it last, becasue it's strong enough in early game, so do you don't need to improve it early on. [title] R: Onslaught of Shadows[/title] [number]Hecarim summons spectral riders and charges forward, dealing magic damage to anyone they strike. Hecarim releases a shockwave when he finishes his charge, dealing additional magic damage and causing nearby enemies to flee in terror away from Hecarim for 1 second.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Your ult is extremly powerful for perfect ganks, escapes and chaseing. While in your ult Hecarim ignores all the CC, so if someone will want to stun you while you're using ur ult, he'll fail and you'll run away without a problem, just make sure to time it right. Besides that whenever your "shockwave" hits the enemy, he gets feard which is extremly strong and helpful while ganking/tower diving, etc. THE TRICK: While ganking or chasing, start your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and after that use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/r.png] to go in front of your enemy (if he's runing away) and charge into their faces while still having your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] on, that'll knock 'em back further to your teammate or whatever.

[imgext=http://fooh.pl/pokaz/1246760236.jpg] [title]Explanation:[/title] There's really not that much to explain about that skill order, as i said in previous chapter your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/q.png] is strong enough to max it second and as it goes for your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] we doesn't need to max it because it doesn't make your "run" be longer, so there for it's good to max it last and def. no reason to max it ealier on, when it's just a ganking skill and not a damage skill. Now why we should max our [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] first? I part-explained it in skills section, it heals you so there for you can survive while moving between jungle camps and it heals you enough to tower dive or sustain while ganking. And of course give point to [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/r.png] whenever it's possible (6,11,16).

Now it comes to explain what, why and when. The build that for sure you've been surprised from the begining. You start your jungle with: and because no other reason than ur passive. You're granted bonus attack dmg from boots, so you can clean camps faster than any other jungler. After that you're picking one of your cores: "But Veirtex, WHY? I NEED MORE SURVIVABILITY" well, you don't, you've extremly strong escape ability, there for enemys will not even beging to hurt you and you'll be gone. [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] Grants you this bonus movement speed upon activation, which is EXTREMLY strong in ganking. You can use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] after that use your [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] and gank enemies even if they've wards around. You're so fast, that they've no chance backing before you get to them. Remember to time these right, before ganking. Oh yeah, remember to pick aswell, for that bonus movement speed/dmg. Your next core item is: "What you gotta be kidding me? I need more surv, dang it!" ffs, i said that you don't, you've enough escape ability, so you wont die, and while fighting you've that bonus health and health regen from [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] so you can easliy take your opponent before he does it, you can even tank tower shots, kill him and escape while laughing with half of your health. [imgsmall=items/youmuus-ghostblade.png] Gives you another bonus movement speed upon activation so time it right with your [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] and [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] it also give you bonus attack damage and crit that you'll need for CRITBOOMS. After that you've many items to consider, if you're still bitching about not enough survivability buy or If enemy team have a lot of CC you can always get or and if you want to get stronger (which i usually do) get after that get and at the end add one more or buy

Even though Critboom hecarim is a very strong jungler and can carry your lane like no other jungler, as every champion he has to cooperate with his team. And i don't mean while in teamfights i mean while in champion select. If you want to play critboom hecarim remember to have at top a guy that will tank damage for you, guys like [imgsmall=champ/malphite.png] or [imgsmall=champ/chogath.png] are perfect examples of champions that i'm talking about. You want to avoid guys like hybrid [imgsmall=champ/jax.png], bruiser [imgsmall=champ/riven.png] or [imgsmall=champ/pantheon.png] and want more tanky champs on your top lane like [imgsmall=champ/renekton.png], [imgsmall=champ/wukong.png] etc, etc.... Basicly want you want to avoid is full AD champions top lane, you want offtank or tank at your toplane so make sure you communicate with your team before playing critboom hecarim, even though you can build up some HP and soak up damage aswell, a perfect example of game like this you can see later on in the guide, in my LOLReplay.

I decieded to give it a single chapter, i want to go deeper on what you should do in champion select, what you should have eye on and other, this will envolve more talking that in chapter above this one, so if you just want to know basic thing about cooperating with your team, with hecarim just read the chapter above, though if you want to go deeper into this and really want rule hard with hecarim, read this section. So let's beging from every one of us begins, in champion select. No matter if you're playing normal, draft or ranked game communicate with your team, it's a basic team, if you see that you've [imgsmall=champ/gangplank.png] top and you think that he's going to be offtank just make sure to ask him, i saw a lot of GP's going pure AD/crit and there's no really teamplay with that kind of champion. Don't be a moron and just politly asked him in the champion select is he going ad or will he be an offtank, if he's an offtank you can easliy go critboom hecarim jungle, because you'll have a teammate that will tank the first couple of damage for you, if you're confused what i'm talking about go into "In-deapth look at Team Fights" chapter and you'll know what i'm talking about. Let's go on, so Hecarim itself it's not always a good pick for a jungler, you want to cooperate with team or like other people like too call it, you want to have that combo in your team. For example you don't want to team with [imgsmall=champ/nidalee.png] top because before the 6th level you two cant really cooperate with each-other, and in teamfights it doesn't look as good aswell, though i'll be explaning who is a good teammate for hecarim and who's not later on (and the end of this chapter). So we got that behind us, you're entering the game going into jungle, you end your route and it comes to ganking. Ping before you even started to use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png], remember that you've insanliy awesome movement speed, so give a time to your teammate to know what's going on, when you pinged and you're on your way to gank, as always start to use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and while being in it, ping one/two more times at the enemy to let your mate know that you're coming, you want them if possible, if they have any kind of CC to start the fight, enemy will fight with them and you'll just knock them into their back. If your ally didn't start the fight, tount or w/e, just let him know to do it next time. In teamfights...... (go into "In-deapth look at Team Fights") So now it's time to present who's Hecarim overally good to teaming with. [title]Top Lane[/title] Good teammates: Oh yeah, there's a lot of them, basicly your best top teammates are the one with some kind of hard CC like stun, that makes your ganks easier and more successful, the next thing what are we looking at top lane is their survivabilty, [imgsmall=champ/malphite.png] is a perfect teamfight due to his tankiness, none the less i hope you got the point. Bad teammates: there's not as much of bad one like good one, and i think that's a good side of Hecarim, isn't it? Like i said you don't want to team up with AD guys or someone that doens't have CC on their lane. [title]Mid Lane[/title] Good teammates: What you want from you mid lane is also to have a bit of CC, your best of the best teammates are the one with spell vamp, like [imgsmall=champ/cassiopeia.png], their [imgsmall=items/will-of-the-ancients.png] grants you even more survibability with your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] Bad teammates: Let's go from one to another, when it comes to heimedinger and mordekaiser, these two can push extremly hard which will prevent you from ganking and make their jungle gank them more, end of story. It kinda goes same way with master, he has no CC, so it's really hard to gank with him, though i'm not saying it's imposible. [title]Bot lane[/title] I found that every champion bot lane is good for hecarim, every ad carry and almost every support, the only one i can bitch about is [imgsmall=champ/soraka.png] she has no crowd control at all, which makes your gankes a lot more harded.

Even though Hecarim is strong jungle champion you've to look out for the enemy jungler, they'll try to counter your camps, kill you, counter gank you and more other stuff that you've to look out for. I'll try to explain more fearful junglers that hecarim can have against him and i'll present some of the weak enemy junglers, that you can screw up and slow them down in means of mid game and late game. Remember that counter jungling is always a strong thing, not always it does turn enemy jungler off the game, but can always screw him up a little bit more, so he'll either down with the level or his ganks won't be as successful as they would be with red/blue buffs. I'll be explaning on counter jungling and counter ganking in futher chapters and in this one i'll explain how hecarim stacks up with other junglers, so there you know when you've to be careful or when you can play around their jungle. So let's go on. [title]Strong junglers[/title] Even though there's a bit more strong junglers than i mentioned up top i'll be explaning just a couple of them so do you know that when you see a enemy champion similar to these that i mentioned you've to be careful with it. Let's start with: Dr.Mundo He like many other champions have that awesome possibility of great counter jungling, he can take camps quickly and go away, the same example of that kind of champion is [imgsmall=champ/shyvana.png], she can takes buffs quickly and get away. Also champions like [imgsmall=champ/shyvana.png] or [imgsmall=champ/drmundo.png] don't have to start their jungle camps from blue buffs, so they can go invade your jungle in the begining, make sure that your allies will procect your jungle from any kind of invades. When it comes to 1v1 sitation, because we all know that they can happen when two jungler are roaming free on the map, you don't really want to go on with them. They've really great early game damage output, espiacially [imgsmall=champ/shyvana.png], her [imgsmall=skills/shyvana/w.png] and [imgsmall=skills/shyvana/q.png] can do quite a bit damage for you. You would be able to kill her, but do not take the risk, because as we know she'll have a backup coming from other lanes, so be careful. Fiora Let's be honest she has one of the best early game damage output which means you can't really survive when it comes to 1v1, so please be careful, knowning that she can kill you, she'll try to counter gank you, though most of people don't do it with her, so you can be little bit more calmed down. One thing you've to look out from this champion is 1v1, just try to avoid them, focus on ganking your lanes. Don't go so deep in her jungle, because you can see her there. Udyr Another champion with great early game damage output no matter if he's in [imgsmall=skills/udyr/q.png] or [imgsmall=skills/udyr/r.png] he can easly take you down, without a big problem. Also he is one of 'that' champions that can counter jungle pretty easy, so be aware of that. Try to avoid going into his jungle, focus on your ganks, check out camps if possible, to avoid block-spawning your camps, when you would mess up your jungle. Malphite This champion is not as good as so many others when it comes to counter jungling, though he's counter for most of malee ad champions, like you, [imgsmall=champ/riven.png] and other, so dont get into 1v1 him, and mostly that's the only thing you should avoid when enemy team has that jungler. You would be able to take him down maybe, but don't take the risk, be careful. Lee Sin Last champion that i'll be explaning when it comes to the strong ones. [imgsmall=champ/leesin.png] is one of these champions that can come out of nowhere and screw up faster than you can think. Even though you've awesome escape ability and probably most of the times you'll be able to get out of there, [imgsmall=champ/leesin.png] still has great damage output and he can do a lot of it to you. Also he's another champion without mana, so he doesn't really have to start his jungle with red, most of the times they'll start with either their red or you red, so remember to tell your allies to protect your jungle. He may try to counter jungle while after the begining so be careful, you can try to mess up with his jungle to slow him a bit, but as always be careful with it. [title]Confusing junglers[/title] What i mean by confusing that it really happens do be diffrent in every situation when it comes to these champions. They're either strong and either weak against you. So that means you can mess up with them, but they also can mess up with you, let's go ahead and explain a couple of them. Shaco He's known from early ganks, though these ganks are not always on your team, they're on you. After his blue on maybe not even (he can invade ur junge) he can camp somewhere in the bushes with his [imgsmall=skills/shaco/w.png] and take you down due to his passive and it's skill early game good damage output and fear. When doing your first route around the jungle be careful, because good [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] will mess up with you and will try to turn you off from the game. Though if he won't do anything in the early game (your first route) later on you can 1v1 the hell out of him, can easly take down his camps and him. So remember to be careful in the earliest stage of the game, later on you will shit on [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png]. Nautilus Even though he's a tanky champion and can soak up quite a bit damage early game, you can mess up with his camps. When it comes to 1v1 you two are though against each other, but most of the times you should win against him. Remember that he has alot of CC and can survive quite a bit, so he can wait until help comes and screw you up. Try to counter jungle whenever you can, also try to counter gank against him, he has a lot of CC and his ganks are awesome, but if you're going to counter gank you should be able to take him down and his ally. [title]Weak junglers[/title] These champions are plain simple weak against you and most of the junglers. You can mess up with their camps, try to invade, counter jungle, 1v1 them, do whatever you can to slow them down and trun them off the game. Just remember to not get greedy and stupid, because once they'll snowball they can be fearful opponents too. Now let's go ahead and explain the most important champions. Rammus He's one tanky son of a bitch, but when it comes to 1v1 in early stage of the game he can't really do a lot of you, you can mess up with his jungler pretty easly, just remember that his allies will always try to help him. As i said don't get greedy and play smart, do what you think is the best, don't fail. Maokai This champion along with guys like [imgsmall=champ/nunu.png] has some jungle potential but man that they've weak early game surviviability, you can easly invade their jungle early on, mess with their camps, 1v1 them. Do whatever you want to, they are not even worth to be called opponents when it comes to you, you can gank 3x more than they do, clear your and their jungle faster than they do it, make usage of it.

Critboom hecarim is not anything else than playing for fun, though i'm not saying it doesn't work or it's trolling, because it's not, this guide is 100% legit, working or w/e you want to call it, try it out before giving your opinion away, because i promise you won't regret it. Though after all i'll understand your confusion and disgrace in this build if you're 1,8k+ ELO player. This game is about having fun, if you want to have fun, want to go fast, want to laugh a lot a Critboom hecarim is a choice for you. Later on i'll be explaning how to play him in every chapter of the game, though i do not recommend it to 2k top ELO players. On their level Critboom hecarim doesn't make to much of a sense, of course if you want to have fun and go fast, you can always try it! I recommend Critboom Hecarim to people that play normal games a lot or are below 1,6 ELO. Below this elo Critboom hecarim is viable and from what i can tell you can carry the game. For example - your awesome gank abilities carry your lanes, which make your top lane, bot lane and mid lane champions a lot more stronger in late game. As i like to call it... When you'll carry the early game - Your team'll carry the late game.

Start your jungle with [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/q.png] and go for the wolves after that go for the blue golem, take your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] next and head for the wraiths, do golems, lvl up your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] and go for the red lizard, after you're done with him go once more for wraiths, lvl up your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and head up for gank.

After you're done with your first route in the jungle, look out for the ganks, you've one of the best ganks in this game, so make usage of it. Before you got [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] it will be hard for you to run next to wards and don't give a crap about them, because you're pegazus, there for you'll need to time right your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png], try to charge into back of the enemy to knock them into your ally, use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] and start spamming with [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/q.png] while between it auto-attacking the enemy. Remember to not get greedy. Your ganks are strong enough to scare the cra out of the enemy, most of the times your first ganks will just burn flash of ur enemy, cause you'll scare them as hell. Remember that you've around 5min before flash goes off the CD, so make sure that you'll gank before it's off the cd, so you can get an easy kill, because when ur enemy doesnt have his escape ability it's really hard to run away from your ganks. Try to farm as much as you can between ganking, though remember that gank is your #1 priority in early game. Try to pick up some [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png] too and place them where team needs it (dragon, ur bushes to prevent their jungler from ganking ur teammates, etc.) As it comes to counter jungling you're one of the best to do it, your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] + [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/q.png] will clear camps pretty fast, and if enemy will see you, just use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and wave to them for goodbye. REMEMBER: To use your items before charging with your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png]

At this time you should already have [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] + [imgsmall=items/youmuus-ghostblade.png] which grants you (with your runes, masteries and boots) about 800(+/-) movement speed, which gives your around 400(+/-) attack damage, which already is alot. If some lanes are still having trouble, make sure to use ur both items after using [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] for an awesome CRITBOOM at the first shot, which will take most of the squishy oppenents pretty fast. Try to pick up as many dragons as you can and do it in the fastest way you can. Time that dragon respawns is 6min so remember to write it down in the chat when it respawns. When you're fighting remember to use all of your items (once again i'm remembering this to you) and charge into their ad carry or ap carr. DO NOT FOCUS TANKS AND OFFTANKS, you can take down their carries faster than they can notice you already passed them, if you're going to focus tanks, they'll probably focus you with their carries and you'll die. You've strong escape ability as i said, your ult ignores all the CC, so if you see the enemy carry hiding behind their team, start ur [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and fly with [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/r.png] over the heads of your opponents and see how they get mad that you already killed their carry and they wasted all of their CC, while you were in your ult. Your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/r.png] along with [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] is also very strong to steal buffs, dragons and even barons. It takes a while to master it, but it' alwayas fun to steal something from your opponent, right?

And it comes to late game, as good hecarim really is you can be really easliy taken down (nahh, i'm just joking, first they got to catch ya), remember to build some def items like [imgsmall=items/banshees-veil.png], [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] or [imgsmall=items/quicksilver-sash.png]. Just like in mid game, in before getting into teamfight you want to use all of your items before using your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and charge into the enemy ad carry, and focus them down, remember that you can always run away with your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/r.png]. Try to pick up as many barons as you can. BARON RESPAWN IN 7MIN so make sure to type it in the chat, so you can go for it when it respawn.. Don't greedy in late game, stay with your team and procect them, dont go anywhere alone, it's a chapter of the game in which one you've to be careful as f***.

I heard a lot of guys bitching about Critboom Hecarim that he has no place in teamfights, even though i explain a lot of your job in chapters above this one, i thought that i'll create a whole new saparte chapter to give you in-deapth, step by step guide on teamfights with [imgsmall=champ/hecarim.png] People have been moaning about Critboom Hecarim not having enough surviviability to stay in teamfight, here's my point of view in this situations. Since you're the part-initiator of teamfight you want to make sure your team follows you to destroy the enemy team - since you also want to charge into their carry with your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] a lot of his teammates will try to focus you down, though because of your awesome passive you can run trough anything, minions, champions, just fly trough their body, so remember to use all of your items before charging into their carry, with these items you'll have around 1k of movement speed, which makes you run around you enemys and see them saying: "dafuq was that"... Okay, now let's go off the funny said and bring it to the step-by-step tutorial to teamfights with Critboom [imgsmall=champ/hecarim.png]: As i said a many times before you're the part-initiator of your team, so make sure that you trust your allies and you know that they'll follow you. When you know that you can trust your allies, wait for the best time to use your sick combo, wait for your tank/offtank to dive into the enemy team and tank some damage for you, while he's doing it, use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/e.png] and all of your items ([imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] and [imgsmall=items/youmuus-ghostblade.png]) run trough your enemies and jump into their ad carry, do as much damage as you can to him (usally is killing him or about 50-90% of his health) and when you think you should step a bit from a teamfight, just run away (your awesome movement speed and passive can affored it) if any means necessery use your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/r.png] to get out from the teamfight. Though, here's the trick: usally when you've someone to soak up first damage (offtank/tank) and you'll charge into their ad carry you'll be able to soak up a much of damage too, here's the thing your health regen. from shurelia + your [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] and possibly [imgsmall=items/will-of-the-ancients.png] in your ap carry build will grant you enough surviviabilty to stay in teamfight, without getting hurt. It may sound stupid, but it works like that. Another good thing about hecarim is his [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] if you're still bitching about not having enough surviviability in teamfights, read your skill careful. You got heal from damage that you or anybody (your teammates) are dealing to anybody that's around your aura from [imgsmall=skills/hecarim/w.png] the great thing about this is, that with [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] you have such an awesome health regen that you can easliy tank turrets, go into teamfights. A perfect example of it you have down below in my game which you can watch from LoLReplay, around 30+/- minute you've example how in the whole teamfight in tank turret and get out alive, while still winning the teamfight.

So i think that everyone before judining this guide should at least how it works in practice, i'm posting a game of mine with Hecarim, also you should watch SivHD video below, before saying anything bad about the guide. Because i know, it looks weird and seems funny, but it works better than any other thing in the world, which you can rule with a pony. None the less here's a LoLReplay link: http://www.leaguereplays.com/replays/match/687133/ And here's one more, from ranked game: http://www.leaguereplays.com/replays/match/702664/

i do not own anything that is owned by SivHD!

So that will be it.. Hope you took your time to read it and rate it fairly, cause i spend some nice time writing it down. I don't really know what to say here, i guess i'll thank SivHD because he's awesome and hope that all of you'll have fun while playing Critboom Hecarim. Rate my guide fairly so does it get higher up in the "ladder" and more people will know how to rule with Heca. Chears from me, TheVeirtex. See ya around. PS. I will improve guide in near future. (more tips and tricks, pros and cons + more explenations)
