[imgext=] Hi everyone and welcome to my Twitch guide. After the remake I had the urge to edit my guide because he's a totally different champion now. I feel like the new Twitch is now on par with other AD carries in terms of range, but i feel like some of his skillset is still not underwhelming, but we'll go through that later. Twitch is now an assassin type AD carry that bases his skillset around Expunge and his true damage stacks. The key of success for playing Twitch is positioning and decision making. My ranked stats Season 1 [imgext=] My ranked stats Season 2 [imgext=] [title]List of Pros and Cons:[/title] [title]Pros[/title] [.]High Risk High Reward Champion [.]Highest base attack speed among AD carries [.]Stealth [.]Can 1v1 anyone with core items [.]Strong splitpusher [.]Very good for solo Q [.]Snowballs hard if fed early [.]Can jungle (not like before) [.]Fun champion [.]Punishes mistakes [.]True Damage [title]Cons[/title] [.]Hard to play the first times [.]Requires balls of steel to play him [.]Oracle and pink wards can counter some of his intiatives in laning phase [.]Not a reliable escape [.]Not a reliable steroid

So lately Riot decided to remake twitch, after a loooooooooooooooooong time. My personal opinion on this? Twitch now feels like a real carry, but is a worse jungler obviously, that wasn't his design anyway. Now looking at every single skill that got changed, I would say that he got nerfed, but not really, cause his base stats are very solid now and the only thing I think he needs is a change on his Q, because it's not an instant steroids like other carries. Doing that QOL change, would make twitch a very strong pick for both solo Q and competitive play. 1900 elo smurf results: [imgext=] Some more games [imgext=] Twitch (Remade) [.]Stats Attack Range increased to 550 from 500 Base Health increased to 389 from 356 Health per level increased to 81 from 78 Base Mana increased to 220 from 180 Mana per level increased to 40 from 35 Base Attack Damage reduced to 47 from 51.56 Attack Damage per level reduced to 3 from 3.3 Attack animation improved [.]Deadly Venom (Passive) Damage reduced to 12/24/36/48 per stack from 15/30/45/60 Ambush 60 Mana, 16 second Cooldown After 1.25 seconds, Twitch becomes invisible for 4/5/6/7/8 seconds and gains 20% Movement Speed. Each bolt deals 20% less damage to subsequent targets down to a minimum of 40% damage. Lasts 7 seconds.

[title]Support ranking for [/title] #1 [imgsmall=champ/sona.png] #2 [imgsmall=champ/fiddlesticks.png] #3 [imgsmall=champ/taric.png] #4 [imgsmall=champ/lulu.png] #5 [imgsmall=champ/blitzcrank.png] #6 [imgsmall=champ/nunu.png] #7 [imgsmall=champ/alistar.png] #8 [imgsmall=champ/leona.png] #9 [imgsmall=champ/alistar.png] #10 [imgsmall=champ/janna.png] #11 [imgsmall=champ/soraka.png] She is simply fantastic, she does everything twitch needs, she can poke, she can sustain, she can help you escape, she can CC. You will mostly be playing with Sona because of her [imgsmall=skills/sona/r.png] and [imgsmall=skills/twitch/r.png] combined, top notch support. The insane sintony Twitch and Fiddle have is incredible, shown even by Aphromoo and Muffinqt, Fiddlesticks has the ability to make sure Twitch doesn't get hit for 3 seconds by the enemy ad carry, enough time to make him stack his poison and kill, and that ult. Taric is a really strong pick in the current meta, and since he can provide CC, a defensive steroid aura, sustain and innate tankiness, I place him in the second place. He's a good pick especially because with his stun you can punish mistakes or people playing overaggressive. I revaluated her and I think her poke, slow, shields and damage are insanely good with Twitch One of the current "stars" of this meta, he zones automatically a lane by standing in a brush (his Q scares people). It makes you play aggressive without being in danger zone, so I like him a lot. Nunu does the same thing as with KogMaw, buffs your attack speed making you a poison stacking machine, obviously your early game is weakened when playing with Nunu, but from lvl 6+ you can crush your enemies with your ults combined She's a strong pick, don't get me wrong, It's just that she goes all in putting twitch in a danger zone and, she can be tanky and strong all you want, but once she goes in, she goes in, and twitch doesn't have any bursting ability, he likes to poke and strike from the shadows, not going ALLAHU AKBAR Kamikaze style Not the best lane partner for twitch, because he's very very weak during the first 3 levels, at level 1 you get zoned already because he can't even use his gap closer Not a bad support, still worse than others in my opinion I don't she can actually lane with Twitch in the current meta, she can't do much vs burst lanes, i'm waiting for Barrier to be implemented and then i'll revaluate her

Ashe is known for her initiation and her strong lategame presence, however, she's not a real threat to you because she has no burst or CC to stop you from autoattacking (obviously pre lvl 6). Currently one of the strongest AD, you can beat him in certain situations, your base stats are higher than his but if he has a support like leona/taric it will be a bit hard. Focus on farming, punish him if he's out of position She will poke you to death, but that's about it. You can counter her with a support like soraka. You scale better. He doesn't use mana at all, and his axes are very strong, I wouldn't recommend trying to trade with him but rather going all in in certain situations. He doesn't have a reliable escape so he's vulnerable to ganks. Best AD carry for solo Q. You will lose the trades and the lane, don't even try going 1v1 with him, he also counters you with his atk speed debuff since you have to auto. I recommend having a support like taric/soraka, they are safe pick that can help you out. This is the lane matchup I like the most, because most of the people pick Graves thinking he's faceroll, but they don't know how to use him effectively, most people spam buckshot from long distance, doing low dmg, while good Graves' will usually try to go on your face. You can beat good Graves', remember he suffers champs who don't burst but instead he does against champs that auto. For example, a Vayne can beat graves because she scales better, same with twitch, your true dmg counters his passive, and you can get some kills or still outscale him lategame if you have the same farm. However, he has more utility than you because of his smokescreen. If he has Nunu as support, you will lose the trades the longer the game goes, if he doesn't, you're supposed to win because Kog is strong only from high distance, he suffers champs that go all in, like Twitch/Corki/Graves Highest HP and lowest AD among AD carries, that means that you're certainly not gonna win trades early game, but she is vulnerable to ganks and you outscale her, keep an eye open. She loses hard vs twitch, her only chance of winning is being ULTRA SUPER GOOD at using spellshield at the right time on your expunge. What exactly can she do vs you? She can throw a boomerang, thats all, if she misses it, it's over for her. She has lower range so you can stack your poisons much easier and faster. This is probably your easiest lane matchup. Very vulnerable early game, you can take advantage of that. She outscales you ONLY when your ulti is on CD. So during a fight, you can melt tanks faster than her, but she can escape from bruisers while you can't. I feel like twitch and tristana have a similar playstyle. If you are good with tristana, you will be good with twitch and viceversa. 50/50. Who has the better support wins, you both need to autoattack to do something, good luck. Don't forget he has 575 range so be carefull what you do. Very Squishy early game, I don't know if she outscales you in 1v1 because twitch with 6 items is also scary, but in teamfights she drops tanks faster than you and has a reliable escape/repositioning tool. Hoewever, you definitely beat her with an aggresive support in lane

[imgext=] Standard AD carry runes, helps you farming better during the laning phase and you can trade better with them. You can choose to use Lifesteal Quintessences if you don't have a support with sustain and you are against a lane that pokes hard like Ezreal/Sona

[title] Passive: Deadly Venom[/title] [number]Twitch's attacks infect the target with Deadly Venom, which deals damage each second, stacks up to 6 times, and lasts up to 8 seconds.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] I like this passive a lot, especially when you're like "DAMN if i could do 1 more hit or if i had mana for expunge he would be dead", and then you hear "You have slain an enemy" because of the strong true damage. When you will max your E and you stack 6 [imgsmall=skills/twitch/p.png] on your enemy, you can count on an easy kill. [title] Q: Ambush[/title] [number]After 1.25 seconds, Twitch becomes stealthed for 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 seconds. If Twitch attacks a unit while Stealthed, he gains 30 / 45 / 60 / 80 / 100% attack speed for up to 10 seconds, depending on how long he was stealthed before attacking. Cooldown 11seconds Cost 60mana Range 20[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] It has been changed to "After 1.25 seconds (delayed up to 3 seconds if taking damage), Twitch becomes invisible for a short duration. While stealthed, Twitch gains 20% movement speed. Twitch gains bonus attack speed for 5 seconds after revealing himself." It's your steroid ability, combined with escaping tool. I feel like it's really chunky because you can't activate the atk speed steroid immediately like other AD carries do. In my personal opinion, Riot should think about doing a QOL change on it. Remember, this is the free "get out of gank" card [title] W: Debilitating Poison[/title] [number]Slows nearby enemy champions' move speed by 30%, plus 6% per Deadly Venom they have. 2.5 / 3.25 / 4 / 4.75 / 5.25 second duration. Cooldown 10seconds Cost 80mana Range 200[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Has been changed to "Twitch hurls a cask of venom that explodes in an area, adding 2 stacks of Deadly Venom and slowing targets hit for 3 seconds." I don't have much to say about this skill, its utility got removed for a better laning phase. It will help you stack your venoms faster, that's all. The slow % is absurdly low. [title] E: Expunge[/title] [number]Deals 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 (+100% of ability power) magic damage to each nearby poisoned enemy, plus 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 additional damage per stack of Deadly Venom applied to them. Cooldown 8seconds Cost 90mana Range 200[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Has been changed from magic damage to physical damage. I think it's not a real buff, but it's not a nerf. I feel like riot should increase the lategame damage from it because it does pratically no damage lategame. [title] R: Spray and Pray[/title] [number]Twitch gains 15 / 25 / 35 attack damage and his attacks become long range line missiles for 12 seconds, dealing 100% damage and poisoning all enemies hit. During this duration, a maximum of 5 / 6 / 7 missiles can be fired. Cooldown 105 / 90 / 75seconds Cost 150mana Range 1200[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Has been changed to "For 7 seconds Twitch gains 300 attack range, bonus attack damage and his basic attacks become piercing bolts that deal 20% less damage to subsequent targets, down to a minimum of 40% damage." Well, I'm sad because I can't melt teams by myself anymore, so now the ulti is more like a tool for stacking poisons and for killing tanks in the front line. The damage has been increased a bit, nothing serious. I like the fact that now the ult lasts 7 seconds instead of limited shots. How to make this ulti work properly: [.] Use it from low distance. [.] Use it from long distance when your enemies are in a line [.] Use it to steal dragon/baron from behind [.] Use it for 1v1 People can still avoid it, but it's really harder now because the missile speed got increased.

[imgext=] Max expunge for more damage, then ambush for higher atk speed steroids and W last because it's less important than the others. Max Spray and Pray whenever possible.

[title]Item Builds Explanation[/title] Best boots for any AD carry, I don't really have to tell you why, the faster you hit, the faster you kill. The best item for any AD carry, when an AD carry builds this, his dmg output increases by 200%, because it has all the stats a carry needs. Very good item to start with, because you can stack AD and lifesteal during the laning phase, hence why you should build it if you think you're gonna win your lane, it sustains you during teamfights, which is why some carries without reliable escapes build this first. Offers mobility, critical chance, attack speed and it's another core item for any AD carry, it's a very good item that should be built after a Bloodthirster or Infinity Edge You need this item 100% for lategame, since you will have to drop their tanks with over 100 armor. Banshee's veil is a tricky item, because you don't always have to build it, if you feel like you're gonna get 2 shot by their AP carry then do it, but if you need a defensive item for lategame, build a Guardian angel I don't really build this item often, but when I do it's because I have champs like nocturne/darius or other AD bruisers that benefit from armor reduction. I usually never build this, only in some situations, but 99% of the time I don't. The ultimate defensive item, this item can literally decide a game during lategame teamfights, you can build it as 6th item or 4th item, it's situational and you have to decide when to get it. Build QSS when they have suppressions or super hard CC.

Your early can be strong and weak at the time time, it all depends on who you're playing with and what champion your support is playing. Positioning is key to winning lane, try not to take too much harass punish mistakes with your W and some stacks of true dmg, then you can finish off with expunge. Try not to take too much harass, play defensive as much as possible and prioritize on farming. If you are getting stomped very hard ask your jungle to gank for you a bunch of times or start praying your team will carry you. Farm, Farm, Farm, when the time to start for for objectives start make sure you already bought your early game items and you're full HP all the time.

This is the time where fights for Dragons and buff control start, at this time (around 25th minute) you should roam around the map with your team, At this point of the game you can decide to [.] Keep farming jungle creeps or lanes [.] Roam and try to grab kills [.] Setup ganks [.] Setup teamfights for dragon Remember that you can push hard without being killed by people without oracle since you can recall while being invisible Here's how you do it: Skip to 3:51

By this time you should have [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png][imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png]. If you didn't you failed. You should have at least [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] by the 20 minute mark. During this part of the game you should figure out yourself what to do. Need more gold? go farm. Team grouping up? Go with them. Sometimes I can't tell you what to do cause I can't watch your match. Anyway twitch is a lategame carry so you should hurt a lot during this part of the game. Keep an eye for baron and vision wards and PLEASE DON'T GET CAUGHT. I hate when my carries get caught like retards, that usually costs your team the game because they won't have dmg output since the carry AD is the source of dmg of the team. If you get caught frequently, then go read up a Map Awaraness guide and stop reading this one.

If you want to succeed in teamfights you have to place yourself in a good position, usually you should stay behind your tanks/offtanks and use [imgsmall=skills/twitch/r.png]] in a line, so that you can pick more champs and you can be lucky to get a triple kill. Remember to use your [imgsmall=skills/twitch/e.png] only when you stacked enough venoms. Sometimes you can initiate but sometimes you don't have to. If you do and get caught, [imgsmall=summoners/flash.png]and [imgsmall=skills/twitch/q.png] ASAP to reposition yourself. You don't really have a choice.

I hope you enjoyed my guide and it will help you on how to play Twitch. Practice makes perfect so spam games with him if you wanna become a very good twitch player. As i said already, positioning and decision making is key to success I'll still update the guide depending on how the meta changes, new items become viable etc.
