Hey guys, my name's GiganticTaco. I'm a Semi-High elo player sharing his insight on the new Blue Ezreal potential as of the 4.10 changes, and recent buff to [img=items/essence-reaver.png] in the 4.11 patch. (Not sure if 4.12 changes are really a buff or a nerf since they both serve a purpose towards being useful lategame but harder to build in the early stages of the game.) I have a few hundred games played with ezreal. (Both Ranked and non Ranked.) Blue Ezreal is making his way back into Solo Que. With the Marksman changes in the recent 4.10 patch it allows Ezreal to be that much stronger than the rest of the competition. Nerfs to [img=items/blade-of-the-ruined-king.png], and [img=items/the-bloodthirster.png] make it so other Marksman are forced to Build differently, usually rushing [img=items/infinity-edge.png] making it so they don't become relevant in teamfights up until they have their IE and zeal, as compared to Ezreal in 4.10 who gains a dominant lane presence as soon as you reach your[img=items/essence-reaver.png]. Blue build ezreal can be found to be a strong marksman with an unlimited mana pool, extreme mobility, great damage, and amazing teamfight presence. Pros: + Great poke + Strong at all stages of the game + Low mana costs + Great escape + Good burst damage + Great Kiting ability + Low cooldown + Can buff teammates with [img=skills/ezreal/w.png] Cons: - Not the greatest late game - Skill shot reliant - Bad wave clear without [img=skills/ezreal/r.png] - [img=skills/ezreal/w.png] Can cause you to use up your mana pool early

With Synergy playing such a huge part in winning your lane, it's always nice to have the best supports that go well with Ezreal. Good Synergy - [img=champ/leona.png] Is always a great support, especially with ezreal since he can follow up on Leonas all just by Arcane Shifting in. She also provides an amazing amount of peel which makes you even more impossible kill. Leona, in my opinion, is probably the best support with Ezreal in solo que considering how hard she will help you snowball. [img=champ/thresh.png] Is also a great support considering how much aggressive and defensive utility he offers, making your chances of killing a champion, and surviving from champions attacking you far greater. Bruam is a great addition to the support field. He synergizes so well with Ezreal considering he can proc Bruams passive with [img=skills/ezreal/q.png] and can Easily follow up by simply going in with [img=skills/ezreal/e.png]. Bruam will also help you in skirmishes greatly offering you more freedom during teamfights to deal more damage. Okay Supports - [img=champ/soraka.png] [img=champ/nami.png] [img=champ/janna.png] [img=champ/lulu.png] [img=champ/sona.png] With all of these supports being more defensive focused as compared to the top tier supports ([img=champ/leona.png] [img=champ/thresh.png] and Bruam) they are easily out classed considering their kits do not offer as much cc, or kill potential as those three do. Although, they are still great lane partners, and will offer you more sustain, usually leading to safer play and more farm than your opponent to have more power in teamfights. These supports all offer different play styles, so you might prefer to have some of these if it suits your play style well. Supports to avoid - [img=champ/taric.png] [img=champ/nunu.png] Are generally the only two supports you want to avoid, since they either 1) Offer little to nothing on Ezreal, or 2) Are outclassed by every other support due to just being overall weaker champions. Try and ask your support to pick something stronger, as you might want to avoid these match ups. [img=champ/taric.png] is always a good pick to have in lane, but all he really offers to your team is a weak heal, and a single target stun. Other supports offer so much more.

Just farm, manage your mana pool while harrassing, and look for a kill after poking your opponent down to around half hp or less. Try to get dragon when you kill the enemy bot lane, and always keep the river warded for jungle ganks.

The mid game is probably your strongest point in the game as Blue build Ezreal. You generally want to control Mid lane and Dragon with how much poke you offer at such a low risk with having so much escape potential. You can occupy more than 1 champion trying to all in you and you probably wont die with having Iceborn gauntlet and Max CDR.

You wont offer as much damage as most ADC's but you will offer a lot more utility and survivability. It's a lot easier to kill any other ADC besides Blue Ezreal, which is what makes him so strong.

During teamfights you want to always start the fight with your ultimate to get all 5 of your passive stacks, buff your teammates with your W, and most importantly, land all of your Q's. You can easily Arcane Shift away every 3-6 seconds, making it nearly impossible to be killed if positioned correctly. Try to get the attention of their bruisers on you if you feel comfortable kiting the two of them as your team focuses on killing their ADC.

Hopefully this guide helps you acquire more victory, and more Elo. Blue build ezreal is very strong right now, and is once again viable since the new item release and changes to the early lane phase. You can play him both Mid and Bot, making it so you can get the role you want at least 40% of the time, making it a reliable choice for solo queing. I hope you all gain nothing but success with this guide, and if you do, feel free to share your success :) Good luck, and have fun.
