[big]I'm Punch The Star[/big] I've spent most days on the internet games of today, and LoL is no exception. I started at the end of Season 2 and finally tried my best during Season 4 in the ranked scene in the summer of 2014 and went from Bronze 4 to Gold 5 in two months. Now in Season 5 I play casually, but I always play to win. When I saw the new updates to some of the most classic characters in Leauge I was excited and jumped on again to play them. However I was floored when I saw that Riot took a [big]HUGE[/big] risk by making one of the oldest champs in the League a.... replacement ADC? Yeah seems strange, but I was more or less angry at the community for bringing this Metal Hunk into rolls he wasn't made for. So now i'm here to teach you how to play the replacement carry and to tell you why and when you should use him. [img=http://i.imgur.com/IhmPoyx.png] -When you should use [img=champ/mordekaiser.png]- Use [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] when you feel it's necessary. An ADC is powerful because he has the range to deal damage and although some people think that [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] may be the answer to non conventional bot lane comps you have to remember what power an ADC has over [img=champ/mordekaiser.png]. It's more then range it's the utility that range brings. They have the ability to join a team fight from far away, over a wall even. However you [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] have something they don't. ADC for the most part focus on high single target deeps and while [img=champ/mordekaiser.png]'s (Q) is the same thing. [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] has amazing team fight potential with the ability to shred frontlines with his (W), the ability to soak damage with his (E) on that front line until his (W) give him the much needed heal, and Not to mention his (W) heals the ally it's attached to as well. This gives [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] utility that an ADC can't provide for their team. So you should pick [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] when your team requires a good teamfight champ for instance if you had a [img=champ/orianna.png] mid, a [img=champ/gnar.png] top, a [img=champ/jarvaniv.png] jungle, and an [img=champ/alistar.png] support. You'd be stupid not to bring [img=champ/mordekaiser.png]'s AoE superiority. You should also pick [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] if their is a shortage of AP damage dealers on the Team. You can also pick [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] if you have a lot of carry potential and need a little more fighter in the mix like let's say someone in your jungle is going [img=champ/masteryi.png]. You may consider going [img=champ/mordekaiser.png]. - Early Game - The key to victory is to gain level's faster then your opponent. The only way to do that is to never miss a CS. Killing a minion give you the FULL exp the minion is worth. The faster you get your Ult the better. Use your (W) to heal up and also deal damage if they let you stand near them. Reactivate (W) if you feel your taking too much damage from the enemies. Once you get your ult and level's ahead you've already won. Your abilities scale way better with level then they do with ratios. At any level higher you can pretty much win a trade. Winning the trades will give you an advantage and as soon as you hit 6 you should push to get the dragon. Having the dragon will give you bonuses to your hp and ap. With these you can siege any tower and take the roll of a ADC with the dragon's superior range and damage. I've also seen that the range that you can command your dragon is very long. You may also choose to scout lanes or use him to push lanes while you go for the enemy jungle. - Mid Game - During the Mid Game you should have your items to stick to targets. If you find yourself in the lanning phase still a great way to do damage is to ramp up your Mace of Spades on minions then use the last hit to damage the closest target to you. Focusing on farm becomes less important since you've already hit six and only assume that you have the level lead still. Now you must protect dragons since its a invaluable objective for you as well as pick fights that you will win. If your support leaves you be very very careful. Without your support you can't use W which is arguably the strongest spell on [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] So if you see any opposition leave immediately. [img=champ/mordekaiser.png]'s changes MAKE him an ADC replacement he can't solo lane just like any other ADC. You'd be scared if you wanted to 1v1 Someone if your an ADC so you should feel the same as [img=champ/mordekaiser.png]. Make sure you're always there for team fights when they break out. Team fights are where you shine. - End Game - If you haven't already closed the game out by now. This is where it takes some skill. At this point you'd already maxed out your damage so it's as good as it's gonna get. Now you can't get any stronger, the only thing you can do is use your abilities and items the best way possible and take down high priority targets. Tell your support to instead go for the ADC instead of peel for you since you'll be doing the same. With [img=items/hextech-gunblade.png] you'll be able to go right threw a beefy front line to the enemy ADC. As long as the support is near you Harvesters of Sorrow should be able to keep you healthy and if one of you were slowed or cc'd the buff will speed you up to reach each other again. Either way they'd need some pretty heavy CC to stop you at this point. This is a make or break situation. If the enemy ADC runs then you've already won the fight. Once you zone them or take them out focus your attention on the enemy team. Pick the squishiest target and (Q) them. Your (W) should of already weakened them. If the enemy ADC decides to come back to fight don't let them free shot on you. If you have a flash and they're weak. Ramp up your (Q) and slam them into the 12th dimension. Remember you can use your Gunblade active to slow the ADC down to catch them. Once you beat them in a good team fight. Take objectives till you win.
