Since the recent masteries/summoner spells/gunblade changes I decided it's a time for something new and fresh. Because there are a few good AS-AD/AP builds out there I decided to change my guide to support Kayle just so I can show people that there is one more way to play her. Since everyone is going to be like wtf is this armor runes such a noob or OMG he took heal trash guide I decided to make first chapter about changes. I will start with: Summoner Spells: [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png] The reason why I took heal is because it got buffed and it's a really good summoner spell now. Together with [imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png] it heals 786 Health at level 18 + 50% of that heals nearby allies for 393 HP. That is almost the same amount as Soraka's [imgsmall=skills/soraka/r.png]. [imgsmall=summoners/clairvoyance.png] It is still very good on support. There are just more options to chose from. You can swap Heal/CV whenever you want because both of them are really good. Runes: So most of you are wondering why did I took those runes. It is very simple. Support champions are very squishy, they don't need to do any damage, they are there to SUPPORT carries and ward. Because of that armor MARKS/SEALS are the best choice. You will start with 47 armor which is a lot early game and you are going to be tanky. You don't need any kind of penetration/Damage runes because you are going support build. Another viable choice is gold per 10 SEALS. Together with quins and masteries you will start with 7.3 gold per 10 which is very nice. Magic resist per level GLYHPS because down at the bottom lane most of the times you will face AD carry + Support and you won't need that much of a magic resist as you will need it later on. You don't need cooldown glyphs because you will have 40% cooldown from items. Gold per 10 QUINTESSENCES are very good on supports because with new Masteries and Runes you basically have a free [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png] at level 1 (only gold/10 part). Masteries: Once again I took support masteries which combined with runes/items are working so good. Summoner's Resolve - Take this ONLY if you are running with [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png]. If you are going with [imgsmall=summoners/clairvoyance.png] put that point in Resistance. Hardiness - 6 armor for that bottom lane. You want as much armor as possible versus that AD carry. Durability - + 108 HP at level 18. This is just amazing on any support because of most of them are squishy and have low HP pool. Veteran's Scars - +30 HP. This spell is considered to be a "most valuable spell" since it has the highest gold value per point - 79.17. It's like having that extra quint for HP. Summoner's Insight - for the improved [imgsmall=summoners/flash.png] and [imgsmall=summoners/clairvoyance.png]. Expanded Mind - Gives 216 mana at level 18 which is good even on supports, more mana never hurts. Meditation - Mana regen so you can spam [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] even more. Scout - 5% vision of wards, a MUST on every support Greed - 2 gold per 10, with runes it will give 5 gold per 10 which is like a [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png] at level 1. Wealth - Increases starting gold by 40. Extra gold is always good. Awarness - Increases exp gained by 3.75%. Take this to outlevel/keep up with most of the champions. Intelligence - 6% cooldown. Always good to have on supports. Mastermind - Reduces cooldown of summoner spells by 15%. Always good to take when you already invested that much in the Utility. Items: [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png] I don't know why but for some odd reason I like to take this item on EVERY single champ except AD/Junglers. It gives so much and it's good the entire game. If you don't like it you can start with [imgsmall=items/faerie-charm.png] [imgsmall=items/sight-ward4.png] and [imgsmall=items/health-potion.png]. [imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] Are the best choice for supports. I don't see any other viable boots. [imgsmall=items/aegis-of-the-legion.png] This item is amazing because it provides so much. 270 Health,30 Armor, 39 Magic resist, 8 Damage and Aura to all allies for only 1925 gold. I like to build this item first especially early on when Armor and Magic resist have better value. [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] This item gives good gold per 10 early on and after Aegis I like to take this item. Speed boost is always good especially if you are chasing someone and the 15% cooldown will put you at 36% after this item. [imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png] The main reason why i take Spirit Visage is the increased 15% on Heal and Regeneration. It helps so much with her [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] and with [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png]. It also gives a bit of magic resist and health which will make you even tankier. In case you didn't took heal and there aren't any dominating mages you can skip this item and focus on the next two. [imgsmall=items/starks-fervor.png] Late game item. It is very situational. If you have more AD champions or someone that benefits a lot from lifesteal and attack speed this item should be your first to get late game item. [imgsmall=items/will-of-the-ancients.png] If however your team have more mages the extra spell vamp/AP is going to help them a lot and this is a very good support item overall. [imgsmall=items/madreds-bloodrazor.png] and [imgsmall=items/wits-end.png] are for very long games items. I feel like shes useless with full support build late game so with the mix of support items early and Starks, Madreds and Wits End lat you have a decent damage output late game especially versus tanks. Nothing is impossible even if you are a support :) [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/7rEws.jpg] [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/60etv.jpg] And some ranked (on my friends account, 9/10): [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/AsL7X.jpg] [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/TJ2Jq.jpg]

Since many of you asked here it is: AD/AS Kayle TOP LANE guide. I wont make a long chapter but I'll add the most required things to get her running. Good luck and have fun! Runes: [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/6ixTL.jpg] Runes got a bit changed but most of them remained the same. Red and Quins for attack speed, Blue for cooldown and yellow for armor. The reason mana regen was changed is because it doesn't provide mana regen early game and later on it's not that much noticeable. With armor yellow early game is going to be much easier as you will mostly face Tanky AD champions at top lane. Masteries: [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/LcM0v.jpg] Masteries are a bit tricky. Since it is a AD/AS build I didn't want to focus that much on AP. In offense tree take improved exhaust and flat damage. After that u go for 10% penetration from both sides. Next thing is Havoc which increases damage dealt by 1.5%. Together with Executioner it gives 7.5% increased damage dealt together to targets below 40% HP. With 3 points remaining the best thing to get was Armor Penetration. With 9 remaining points left the best thing to do is to invest them in defense tree. Take 3 points in armor and 1 in magic resist. Then proceed to HP per level and 30 extra HP at level 1. Summoner Spells: Still the best choice for her. Exhaust will help you get a kill easier or even stop someone from ganking you. Flash is of course still the best summoner spell in the game. Another viable summoner spell is Teleport. It helps a lot with Dragon controll and ganks since you can teleport to any ward anywhere. In some situations it's much better to take teleport cuz not only it helps you but it also helps your team. Spell Order: [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] > > > I max [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] first because this skill got buffed and it's better for this build then her [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png]. In lane if you ONLY use [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] you will NEVER run out of mana. When you use the spell you will regen your mana before you get it off the cooldown which is amazing. You don't need to save mana anymore, you can spam this 24/7. Next I max [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png]. Damage amplification is increased to 6/7/8/9/10% and it also scales with AD. This spell is surely good now but with this build maxing [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] first is better. If you decide to go hybrid build then make sure to level [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] first. I max [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] last. Heal got nerfed a lot. AP ratio got reduced even more and healing itself got reduced at early levels. Only at level 5 this skill will heal for the same amount it used to. Speed buff is sure good but it lasts for ONLY 2.5 seconds which is a HUGE nerf to 10 seconds it used to have. Not to mention it got cooldown increased by 5 seconds. Get [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] whenever you can - at level 6/11/16 Item Build: Starting Item: First trip back: Core Items: Final Build: or or or I used to start with [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png]. After playing a few games with [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] I decided it is a better item to get at level 1. The next item I want to discuss are [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png]. There are 3 viable choices on Kayle: [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] [imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] and [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png]. The reason why I pick [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] over [imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] and [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png] is because attack speed early game will help her a lot. [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] gives 20% attack speed, which combined with runes will give you over 1.0 attack speed at the time you buy them. [imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] are good if you want to go damage build but note that your attack speed will be significantly lower. Last choice are [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png]. If the enemy team have a lot of CC you should absolutely get this item. It will reduce CC by 35% and it will give you 25 magic resist. I always start with [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png]. I try to stay in lane as long as possible and farm until I get at least 1450 gold. When I go back first time I finish [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] and I take one more [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] + [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png]. My next item for core build is [imgsmall=items/guinsoos-rageblade.png]. The main reason why I changed core items is because if you start with this you actually have more damage early on and right after this u can rush [imgsmall=items/nashors-tooth.png]. Unlike old build where you would go nashor and stay at 80 damage for 25 minutes this one will give u decent amount of damage and stats. After that I start building [imgsmall=items/nashors-tooth.png]. This item is amazingly good. It will give Kayle EVERYTHING she needs and you will have 40% cooldown after you get it. Get [imgsmall=items/stinger.png] first and then get [imgsmall=items/fiendish-codex.png]. With reduced price it is even better now. After that you want to take [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png]. This item is amazing on Kayle. It will give her AD, AP, lifesteal, spellvamp and 300 dmg slow. First item you want to build is [imgsmall=items/bilgewater-cutlass.png]. When you get it your attacks with [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] will heal you and you will have 150 dmg slow. Your damage will increase significantly. Finish [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png] by building [imgsmall=items/hextech-revolver.png] and that's when you are going to start doing some crazy damage. [imgsmall=items/the-black-cleaver.png] is the item you NEED to get after [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png]. It provides a lot of damage and attack speed AND it reduces enemies armor. This item is just perfect for her. If you are playing a long game get [imgsmall=items/madreds-bloodrazor.png] or [imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png]. Both items are very situational. If the enemy team is stacking HP take [imgsmall=items/madreds-bloodrazor.png]. Since you will have 5 items in your inventory you can only have 1 item before completing it. Take [imgsmall=items/pickaxe.png] for some more damage and when you have enough money finish it. If the enemy team is not stacking HP take [imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png]. This item is overall good because it gives almost everything Kayle needs. For trinity get whatever you feel like you need. Either - [imgsmall=items/sheen.png] [imgsmall=items/zeal.png] or [imgsmall=items/phage.png]. If you are getting focused a lot and you want some more survivability instaed of damage get [imgsmall=items/wits-end.png] or [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png]. Take guardian angel if you know you can't survive no matter what. An extra life is never bad to have. If you are getting focused by some AP carry and you need more magic resist take [imgsmall=items/wits-end.png]. Remember to always buy [imgsmall=items/elixir-of-fortitude.png] and [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png]. WHY: After getting a lot of question why I took X and not Y item I decided to do little explaining. Here you can see from which items she benefits and from which she doesn't. [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] - This item is very good for Kayle. I used to start with ring but after a few games with double blade I decided it is a much better choice. You won't lack damage early on and it will also give you 20 dmg, 200 HP and 6% lifesteal. [imgsmall=items/nashors-tooth.png] - This is one of the best items for Kayle. She benefits from every single stat from the item. The biggest and the best stat is 25% cooldown reduction. When u get it cooldown reduction will reach 40% and you can keep up [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] 100% of the time. 55% attack speed is also very good on her and once again its one of the highest stats you can get on the item. With 10 mana regen you will manage to keep most of your mana and 55 AP will boost the damage on your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png]. [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png] - When it comes to damage this item is in the god tier. If it was only for damage this item would be easily replaced with some other heavy AD item BUT since you get lifesteal, spell vamp and 300 dmg slow every minute this item is godlike. Imagine a fight where lets say master yi/singed is running away from you. You can exhaust them, once it over slow with [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] and right after that slow again with [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png]. Once they get their speed back your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] will get off the cooldown and you can slow once again. Not to mention while chasing them and doing the damage you can speed yourself with [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] so it's very hard to escape from you. Also the extra AP will boost the damage on your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] even more. [imgsmall=items/the-black-cleaver.png] - This item combined with your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/p.png] will make tanks or anyone with armor cry. After 3 hits the target will lose 45 armor per hit + 15% from your passive so even tanks are going to feel the pain. The other stats - +55 AD and +30% AS will help greatly. Perfect item for you. [imgsmall=items/guinsoos-rageblade.png] - It gives both AD and AP and some attack speed. It is a good early game item because after this and dorans you can rush nashor without having to worry about your damage. [imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png] - This is a very situation item for the late game. If you feel like you are not getting focused and the enemies aren't stacking tons of HP this item is perfect for you. You benefit from every single stat except critical strike. You also gain slow when you attack with spells so combined with your items no person should be able to escape from you. [imgsmall=items/madreds-bloodrazor.png] - Same like the [imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png] for the late game. The only difference is this item is more versus tanky champions and lots of HP. Combined with your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=items/the-black-cleaver.png] and [imgsmall=items/malady.png] 4000 HP will go away in a few seconds. [imgsmall=items/wits-end.png] - I like this item a lot. Except attack speed and extra damage it also gives some magic resist. I like to get this if I see 2 AP champions to counter them. [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] - This item is only when there is no other option left. No matter what you do you get focused hard. No way to survive. This item will give you an extra life every 5 minutes which can turn the fight around once they used all of their spells and ultimates on you. Once you get revived they will be defenseless and you can just clean it up. [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] - Those are the best boots for Kayle due to its +25% attack speed which will help you a lot early game. After you go back and buy those boots your attack speed will go over 1.0 and you can achieve that in 5-6 minutes. The price is also very low so you can grab a ward or two while going back for them. [imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] - The reason why those boots are not #1 is because they only work with second runes/masteries setup where you won't have cooldown reduction from masteries and runes. Otherwise there are better choices. [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png] - Are very good if you are getting focused a lot/CCed. If you feel like you need more survivability take them over [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] otherwise stick with [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png]. WHY NOT: [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] - I got a question why not take Infinity Edge. This item is good but not for Kayle because she doesn't use critical. The only good stat from it is +80 AD but other than that its useless. Every other item from the above have at least 2 stats that Kayle benefits from. [imgsmall=items/frozen-mallet.png] - This item is unnecessary on Kayle because she needs AD/AS and not extra HP. The 20 bonus damage is unnoticeable and the slow from it will get replaced with [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png]/[imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png]/[imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png]. [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png] - This item have the nice amount of AD/lifesteal BUT once you die you lose all of your stacks. This item is not worth getting for Kayle because you can just take [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png] and instantly have more and better stats. [imgsmall=items/youmuus-ghostblade.png] - Could be good because of 20 armor penetration, 30 AD and + 50% AS/MS for 4 seconds but critical strike and cooldown reduction are useless because you will already have max cooldown reduction and critical is useless stat on her so there are better items to get which will give you more and better stats. [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] - The reason why I don't take this item is because [imgsmall=items/the-black-cleaver.png] gives better stat and it has a better synergy with Kayle. The only good thing about this item is 40% armor penetration and if Kayle didn't have passive which is giving % armor penetration this item would be in my build. Otherwise it's replaced with [imgsmall=items/the-black-cleaver.png]. [imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png] - Have only 1 good stat for you and that is attack speed. Once again you don't need critical and while movement speed can be good you can get it from the [imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png] which is far away better item. [imgsmall=items/starks-fervor.png] - This item is good to have but only on support champions. Kayle can get far better stats with other item and the stats from this item are good on Kayle only if they come from someone else keeping Kayle from wasting an item slot. Team Fights: Late game combo: [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] In a team fight there are 2 things you can do: You can stay behind your tank and wait for him to enage OR you can try to bait. Last few games I was trying to bait and here is what i figured. She is a very good bait. If your team is hiding and waiting in the grass, and you are farming there is a big chance you will get ganked. I was usually ganked by a whole team and they blow almost everyting or at least half of their spells and abilites while trying to kill me. Then I used [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] to save myself and get out. My team just came and cleaned what was left. You can even try to "backdoor" and make the enemy team chase you. They will most likely try to kill you and once again you can bait them into your team. Remember, it is very dangerous. If you get stunned you won't be able to use [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] and you can die. Be carefull. However if you choose to wait for you tank to engage wait for the fight to start. They will be fighting and thats when you try to kill their carry. Use [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] followed by [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png]. If you have [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png] activate it do do even more damage. You will drop the enemy carry to at least 50% HP. ALWAYS try to keep an eye on your teammates. If you have to make a choice between a carry and a tank ALWAYS use [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] on the carry. It is very important to have a good timing. Let's say your team gets attacked by the enemy team. For some reason your carry was staying in the front, she got caught and she is about to die. If you shield her at 300-500 HP, there is still a HUGE chance she WILL die. I would not recomend using [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] to save her. Try to fight back even 4v5 and protect someone else on your team - usually the 2nd person that is doing the most damage. Remember - Kayle can turn a lost fight around. Good timing is very important.

Kayle the Judicator is an angel and sister of Morgana. She is the only 450 IP champion that is not recommended and she is a very underrated champion. There are a few ways to play her and I used to play her both AD/AS and hybrid but the time has come for the support Kayle to take over. Pros - Somewhat decent damage trough whole game - Nice healing ability - Good movement speed buff - Her ultimate can make her or her teammate invulnerable - Can slow enemies - She is a good babysitter Cons - Team dependent - Item dependent - Needs to farm in order to be effective - Mana problems early game - Squishy late game [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/F6R2a.jpg]

Hello everyone. I am very bad at this so I'll leave it as simple as possible. This is my first guide and the reason why I wrote it for Kayle is because she is one of my main champions. I used her a lot and a while ago and I started using her again. Kayle is a very underestimated champion. She is not as bad as everyone think she is. Many players queue dodged only because I was using Kayle. Most of the players think she is bad. With the recent rework her early game and mid game got "better" while her end game is nerfed a bit. She is still doing a nice amount of damage but not as much as she used to. I hope I can help other Kayle players with this guide. This used to be a case until the latest masteries/gunblade changes. It made me think twice about her build and I decided to change it into Support Kayle. There are already a few good damage builds out there so I wanted to provide another way of using her.

This guide wasn't always a support Kayle guide. It was changed twice and I felt like I should give some credit to old builds as well. [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/nqcyG.jpg] OR [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/IR72T.jpg] [title]Explanation:[/title] As for runes I like to take: 9 Greater Mark of Resilience = + 8 Armor 9 Greater Seal of Avarice = 2.3 Gold per 10 OR 9 Greater Seal of Resilience = + 13 Armor 9 Greater Glyph of Shielding = + 24 Magic Resist at level 18 1 Greater Quintessence of Avarice = + 3 gold / 10 sec. In case you don't have those runes they cost 7080 IP So most of you are wondering why did I took those runes.

[title] Passive: Holy Fervor[/title] [number]30% of Kayle's attack damage is added to her ability power and 15% of Kayle's ability power is added to her attack damage.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] With the recent rework her passive got changed and it giving 3% Armor and Magic penetration per hit ( can stack up to 5 times). It's a very nice passive against tanks with 15% Armor and magic penetration ( don't forget 15% magic penetration from masteries) so Kayle is a very good tank destroyer. [title] Q: Reckoning[/title] [number]Blasts a target, dealing 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+80% of ability power) magic damage and slowing its movement speed by 25% for 4 seconds. While the target is slowed, Kayle inflicts 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 / 16% increased damage to them. Cooldown 8seconds Cost 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100mana Range 650[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This used to be her bread and butter but after the recent change her damage will be increased by 6/7/8/9/10% when this spell is used which is still a nerf due to previous 16% at level 5. Since we are going support build we don't need anything from this spell except the slow which is the same at all levels. Because of that I like to take this skill last. [title] W: Divine Blessing[/title] [number]Blesses an allied champion, healing them for 65 / 100 / 135 / 170 / 205 (+50% of ability power) health and increasing their movement speed by 12% for 10 seconds. Cooldown 10seconds Cost 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80mana Range 1000[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] With the sustain nerf this spell got hit hard but its still a decent heal. It has the 3rd highest base amount right after Soraka's and Taric's heal. It also gives a nice speed buff for 2.5 seconds and sometimes it can be crucial for catching up with the enemy. Anyway spam this on your Carries until you heal them back to full HP. [title] E: Righteous Fury[/title] [number]Kayle's attacks strike at range. These attacks splash, dealing an additional magic damage to her target and nearby units take 20 / 25 / 30 / 35.5 / 40% of her attack damage plus magic damage. The total bonus damage is 4 / 10 / 16 / 22 / 28 base damage plus (+30% of ability power). Cooldown 22 / 21 / 20 / 19 / 18seconds Cost 65mana Range 20[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This is a very good skill for damage build and even for a support build. Even when you max heal you can still max this skill second because of the damage from it. It iss very good for harassing in the lane. You can spam this spell 24/7 and you will never run out of mana because of it's low mana cost and long cooldown. [title] R: Intervention[/title] [number]Bathes Kayle's target in a holy light, rendering them immune to all damage for 2 / 2.5 / 3 seconds. Cooldown 90seconds Cost 100 / 75 / 50mana Range 1200[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] You just need to love this spell. Even after the nerf it is still good. At level 3 with 6% cooldown from masteries, and 34% from items ([imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png],[imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] and [imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png] - yes it's 46%, but we really need that [imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png]) you are going to lower cooldown down to 36 seconds. You can save an ally or yourself from a 100% kill. Note that your ultimate will not stop any kind of CC so if you get stunned during your ultimate you won't be able to move. There are a few good ultimate combos and I will mention them here: Kayle - Olaf = This is so far the best combo. Olaf becomes UNDEAD for 3 seconds. Not even a stun, share or fear is going to stop him from destroying enemy champions. Make sure you have a good communication with your teammates because your ultimate can either save or kill a teammate. What I mean is if you use it too late it is not going to save him because he will die. Kayle - Tryndamere = 5 seconds of undying rage. Note that Tryndamere is very vulnerable to enemy slows and stuns so having a [imgsmall=summoners/cleanse.png] on Tryndamere would be nice. Kayle - Katarina - Death Lotus + Intervention is going to give Katarina a few kills. Just one good stun on Katarina and she is going to get disabled. Still not a bad combo. Kayle - Twitch - Is another good combo. His ultimate and your Intervention are going to get someone killed. Again a stun can disable him easily.

[imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png][imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] > > > I max [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] first. In lane, you can spam this to heal you ally. You will rarely run out of mana if you only use this skill. It got hit hard with the nerf bat but its still decent heal in the game. Actually it's the 3rd strongest heal in the game so unless they have Taric or Soraka you can outheal the enemy support. This spell also gives a nice speed buff for 2.5 seconds (even tho it used to be 10 seconds not so long time ago). Overall a nice support ability. Next I like to take [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png]. The reason for that is because Kayle can be played in the same way as [imgsmall=champ/sona.png]. You can use your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] on the enemies and together with your passive you are going to do some ncie damage. If the enemy support doesn't have a heal you are most likely going to a win your lane. Use this whenever you can and spam it on the enemy carry. I max [imgsmall=skills/kayle/q.png] last. I used to max it second but since slow has the same % and the only different thing is damage (which is not that much) and increased damage to enemies (which you don't need since you are a support) i decided to take it last. This spell is good when you are chasing, you can always speed up with [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] Get [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] whenever you can - at level 6/11/16

Starting Items: or First trip back: Core Items: Final Build: Late Game Items: or Very Long Game Build: I know many of you noticed I really like [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png]. But that item is just AMAZING on Kayle early game. With it I never run out of mana unless I need to spam all of her spells. Her heal is a bit better, she is not that squishy and her mana regen is good. If you don't like [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png] you can chose to start with [imgsmall=items/faerie-charm.png] [imgsmall=items/sight-ward4.png] and [imgsmall=items/health-potion.png]. This build is much safer because you can keep the river warder for 12 minuties which should be more then enough until you go back again. Next item is [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png]. After this item your regen is going to be insanely good and I'm amazed how good this item is. Plus it provides gold per level which I save until 30ish minute when I upgrade it to [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] for the speed buff and cooldown. After that I take my favorite item for Kayle - [imgsmall=items/aegis-of-the-legion.png]. I try to get this item as soon as possible because early-mid game AP and AD carries don't have that much damage so it's much harder to get killed when you have this. It also gives ur whole team an aura which is going to make team fights much easier. Boots are pretty much like one trick pony. I only take [imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] because they are the best boots for the support champions. The next item I take is [imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png]. This item can be very situational. If you are running with [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png] then you should build this item after completing [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png]. It is a very good item versus fed AP carries because it gives magic resist and HP AND you get cooldown/regen/healing increased. If however you are running with [imgsmall=summoners/clairvoyance.png] and there is no AP carry that is fed, you should skip this item and get it last. Next items you get are both late game items and are very situational. If you have a champion on your team that benefits from Attack speed/Lifesteal [imgsmall=items/starks-fervor.png] should be your first option. It is going to help them a lot with 20% lifesteal and 20% attack speed. If however there isn't any champion which would benefit from it and there are more AP champions you should try to get [imgsmall=items/will-of-the-ancients.png]. This item will give them 25% spell vamp which is HUGE and also provides a small amount of AP - 30. Of course to get the last item you will need to sell your [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png] if you have it.

At level one there are 2 viable starts - One is with [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png] [imgsmall=items/health-potion.png] and the second one is with [imgsmall=items/faerie-charm.png] [imgsmall=items/sight-ward4.png] [imgsmall=items/health-potion.png]. The first one will make u beefy, giving you 647 HP on top of 47 Armor and 32 Magic resist. When I start with [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png] I always try to bait the enemy duo into attacking me. The reason for that is you can go aggressive already at level 2 bacause you are quite tanky. While you are baiting them to attack you, your carry can destroy them and it's very easy to win a lane. Most of the times I won my lane by doing that and if you have someone like [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png], the bot lane is going to be a faceroll. With this start you should get your [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png] by 8 minute. If you get an assist/kill you can finish it much faster. When you have 950 gold go back and finish it and also take 2 [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png]. You sustain will dramatically increase and you can literally tank any damage they throw at you. When I start at bot the first thing I do is I like to check the enemy duo. If they can do tons of damage to us, I try to play passive letting my AD carry farm but if we can just rape them, I always like to use the given advantage. The only problem with [imgsmall=items/dorans-ring.png] is you don't have any wards. If you didn't pick [imgsmall=summoners/clairvoyance.png] the game at bot can turn upside down. You have to play careful because you can easily get ganked. If you notice even a small change in their behavior, the best thing is just to back a bit and play safe. Once you reach level 6 it is going to be much easier to avoid ganks because of your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] That's why I sometimes like to start with [imgsmall=items/faerie-charm.png] [imgsmall=items/sight-ward4.png] [imgsmall=items/health-potion.png]. This will give you a great cover of the river and it can be very hard to gank you. You can play much much safer but you will missing 100 HP and that will leave you with 547 at level one which still isn't that bad. As soon as you have about 770 gold go back and finish [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png] and also take 2 more [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png]. When I reach level 6 and get my [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] I almost always try to go for the kill with my partner. The only time I don't do that is when we are getting owned and all we can do is sit back and farm. With someone like [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] it is almost impossible to lose a lane. I only laned like 10 times with her but we NEVER lost our lane. The reason for that is you can take the damage from the enemy while vayne is shredding them and don't forget that your [imgsmall=skills/kayle/e.png] can do some nice damage as well. At level 6 you can just go and dive and if the things go real, real bad, you can use [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png] as a getaway card.

Mid game is when I like to go around, ward and finish my core build. Lets start with warding. You should ALWAYS keep dragon and baron warded. You should ward dragon with [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png] and baron with [imgsmall=items/vision-ward.png]. More information on how and where to ward you can find here: http://www.solomid.net/guides.php?g=6097. It is a well written guide by Xpecial who's considered to be the best support player in the NA. After we have [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png] completed we want to build [imgsmall=items/aegis-of-the-legion.png] as soon as possible. Lets talk more about [imgsmall=items/aegis-of-the-legion.png]. I consider it to be the best support item in the game because it gives so many stats for so little gold - 1925. With it you will get 270 HP, 30 Armor, 39 Magic resist,8 Damage AND you will give the aura to nearby players. 12 Armor 15 Magic resist and 8 damage is what they are going to get. I like to get item as fast as possible because early on carries don't have that much damage so armor and magic resist are worth more. You will lower their damage a lot and most of the times you are going to get ignored because of beefiness. By the time you get [imgsmall=items/aegis-of-the-legion.png] your armor and magic resist are going to be over 100. After that I like to complete [imgsmall=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] for the cooldown. They are the best support boots in the game because they are cheap and they give cooldown which support champions need that much. Next item I like to finish is [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png]. I like this item very much because of the speed buff. It is amazing if your team is chasing someone or trying to escape. The cooldown on it is only 1 minute so you should have it in every team fight. Other things you get from it are 15% cooldown and 330 HP which is going to raise your cooldown reduction to 36%. It also has HP/Mana regen is its overall a great support item and a must have.

Late game is the time when even the smallest mistakes can cost you the game. By that time you should stop going alone and always stick with your team because if you get caught you can lose the game for your team or you can just give a free baron the the enemy team. If the enemies AP carry is fed like A LOT or hes doing just too much damage you should get [imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png]. This item will not only give you HP and magic resist, but it will also improve your healing and regeneration effects by 15% and put you at 40% cooldown cap. With it your [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png] will heal for 400 AOE HP and it can turn the fight around. Combined with [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] and [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] you can make your AD carry a nightmare for the enemy team. You should always itemize around your team and get what they would benefit mostly from. Thats why [imgsmall=items/starks-fervor.png] is such a good item for AD carries. It gives 20% attack speed and lifesteal. That much lifesteal is just amazing to have and your carry can even skip lifesteal items because of that. Just with one [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png] they are going to have at least 35% lifesteal + the amount they stack which can get up to 45%. Late game when carries have like 300+ damage that is almost 150 back from a single hit. It is going to boost their strength and if played correctly can win a game. But if the AD carry is doing poorly and your AP is just owning everyone, a good item to get would be [imgsmall=items/will-of-the-ancients.png]. 30 extra AP and 25% spellvamp is going to help them survive much longer and together with your heals and [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] they should be able to dominate.

In a team fight there are 2 things you can do: You can stay with your AD/AP carry and babysit them OR you can try to bait the enemies into attack you. Last few games I was trying to bait and here is what i figured. She is a very good bait. Most of the times when someone is alone or when hes pushing alone that person is about to get ganked unless theres a ward around that area showing everything that is going on. If not you are most likely to get ganked. If you want to bait them you should try to get in a bad position where the enemy team is 100% sure you are an easy kill. Most of the times they will blow everything just to try to kill you and that is when the fun begins. Because of the [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] and [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] you can be hard to catch and you can eventually bait someone in a trap. When you get focused use [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] to survive and by the time they realize what is going on they are most likely going to be dead. Always try to play a mindgame with them because most of the times they will think that your just a stupid bot roaming around all alone and that your an easy prey. Remember, it is very dangerous. If you get stunned you won't be able to use [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png] and you can die. Be carefull. However if you choose to babysit the most important thing is to know when to use [imgsmall=skills/kayle/r.png]. When you see that enemy is focusing your carry or when they just try to blow out everything on her - that's the perfect timing for your ultimate. Even when that is over you will still have [imgsmall=skills/kayle/w.png] and [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png] which will heal for something around 600 HP. If played correctly the carry can just own anyone and easily win you a team fight. The key point is to know when to use it. Always use it when there's a ton of damage/spells used on the carries. Remember - Kayle can turn a lost fight around. Good timing is very important.
