[imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] is an assassin type AD Carry. She is by far one of the most feared late game AD Carries due to her mobility and crazy damage output. Despite her power, she is relatively squishy, so positioning is key when playing [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png]. If positioned correctly, [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] goes where she pleases and kills whoever so happens to cross her path. [highlight][title]Vayne Base Stats:[/title][/highlight] [highlight]Damage:[/highlight] 50 (+3.25 / per level) [highlight]Health:[/highlight] 359 (+83 / per level) [highlight]Mana:[/highlight] 173 (+27 / per level) [highlight]Move Speed:[/highlight] 300 [highlight]Armor:[/highlight] 9.3 (+3.4 / per level) [highlight]MR:[/highlight] 30 (+0 / per level) [highlight]Health Regen:[/highlight] 4.5 (+0.55 / per level) [highlight]Mana Regen:[/highlight] 6.3 (+0.4 / per level) [title][highlight]Pros[/highlight][/title] [.] Very strong late game. [.] Decent CC with [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png]. [.] Overall a strong 1v1 champ. [title][highlight]Cons[/highlight][/title] [.] Very squishy. [.] Position reliant compared to other AD Carries. [.] Cannot hop over walls like [imgsmall=champ/corki.png][imgsmall=champ/tristana.png][imgsmall=champ/ezreal.png]. [.] Short range.

[center][imgext=][/center] [highlight]Reds:[/highlight] Flat AD is best for [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png]. [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] and [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] scale off AD. [highlight]Yellows:[/highlight] Armor is very crucial on [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png]. Her armor base and armor per level is very poor. Other than that, you will be facing another AD Carry in the bot lane, so running armor is optimal. [highlight]Blues:[/highlight] MR or MR per level depending on the early game match up. If you are against decent magic damage in the bottom lane, flat magic resist early is good. If you're not worried about magic damage, magic resist per level is good for late game. [highlight]Quints:[/highlight] Same as reds. [imgext=] [center][highlight]Run this when you have a no sustain support.[/highlight][/center] Lifesteal Quints are amazing if you have a no sustain support. It is amazing when you have your Vampirism mastery + [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] + [imgsmall=items/vampiric-scepter.png].

[center][imgext=][/center] [title][img=skills/vayne/p.png] Passive: Night Hunter[/title] [number]Vayne ruthlessly hunts evil-doers. She gains 30 Movement Speed when moving toward nearby enemy champions. Range: 2000[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This is what makes [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] hard to escape from. It only works when you are facing your enemy. Enemies that are not visible to [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] will not activate [imgsmall=skills/vayne/p.png] (through Fog of War, brush, or stealth). [title][img=skills/vayne/q.png] Q: Tumble[/title] [number]Vayne tumbles a short distance and her next basic attack within 6 seconds deals bonus physical damage. The bonus is equal to 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% of her total Attack Damage. Cooldown 6/5/4/3/2 seconds Cost 40 mana Range: 200[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] A great spell that helps you reposition / helps align your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] at times. It will proc on-hit effects and also resets Vayne's attack timer on cast. So, you should use it generally right after one of your autos. In teamfights, use it to kite/chase your enemies. You can [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] through [imgsmall=champ/anivia.png]'s Ice Wall /[imgsmall=champ/jarvaniv.png]'s Cataclysm /[imgsmall=champ/trundle.png]'s Pillar. [highlight]Note[/highlight]: Tumble's cooldown will not start until after the autoattack buff is used or expires after 6 seconds. [title][img=skills/vayne/w.png] W: Silver Bolts[/title] [number]Vayne tips her bolts with a rare metal, toxic to evil things. The third consecutive attack or ability against the same target deals an additional 20/30/40/50/60 plus 4/5/6/7/8% of the target's maximum Health as true damage. (Max: 200 damage vs. Monsters)[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This is the skill that makes Vayne's late game damage devastating. The passive will last 3 seconds or reset when you attack a different target. It is the ultimate tank killer spell. [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] applies 1 silver bolt. [title][img=skills/vayne/e.png] E: Condemn[/title] [number]Vayne fires a huge bolt, dealing 45/80/115/150/185 (+50% of attack damage) physical damage and knocking her target back. If they collide with terrain they take 45/80/115/150/185 (+50% of attack damage) additional physical damage and will be stunned for 1.5 seconds. Cooldown 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Cost 90 mana Range 450 Maximum Knockback distance: 470 (estimate) [/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] A very strong spell for setting up ganks and pushing away enemies from you. Hitting an enemy target on the wall doubles its damage and stuns the target for 1.5 seconds, putting [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] in a very good spot to kill that target. You cannot [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] enemies into casted terrain ([imgsmall=champ/anivia.png][imgsmall=champ/jarvaniv.png][imgsmall=champ/trundle.png]) It can interrupt channeling spells like [imgsmall=champ/shen.png][imgsmall=champ/fiddlesticks.png] ultimates [title][img=skills/vayne/r.png] R: Final Hour[/title] [number]For 8/10/12 seconds Vayne gains 25/40/55 Bonus Attack Damage, Tumbling grants Vayne stealth for 1 second, and the bonus Movement Speed from Night Hunter is tripled. Cooldown 70 seconds Cost 80 mana[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] I love this spell. Every time I use it, in my head I go "Shit just got real". Once activating this spell, your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] and [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] damage increases and your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/p.png] movespeed bonus is TRIPLED. Remember, once you [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] you will be stealthed for 1 second. Any type of action other than moving will cancel the stealth.

[center][imgext=][/center] [.]Take a point in your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/r.png] whenever possible for obvious reasons. [.]Max [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] because it lowers the cooldown and does more damage as it levels up. [.]Take a point in [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] at level 2 and take a point in [imgsmall=skills/vayne/w.png] at level 3.

There isn't much variation in Vayne's item build. There is only about 2-3 general standard builds for Vayne. [title]Regular AD Build with [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] first:[/title] [center][item=infinity-edge][item=phantom-dancer][item=last-whisper][item=the-bloodthirster][/center] [title]Regular AD Build with [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png] first:[/title] [center][item=the-bloodthirster][item=phantom-dancer][item=last-whisper][item=infinity-edge][/center] [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] The best boots for an AD Carry. More movement speed + attack speed. [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] The biggest damage item in the game. The critical strikes allow for absurd bursts. [imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png] This item has the highest attack speed percentage in the game. This synergizes with [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png], allowing for more critical strikes and higher chances to get critical strikes. It also provides a decent amount of movement speed for kiting. [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png] A great item to boost your damage if the enemy team does not have much armor. It grants large amounts of lifesteal. This will give you sustain as an ADC. [highlight]* BT is 80% the best item to get on [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] first because she gets focused a lot and the sustain is helpful/scales well with your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] and [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png][/highlight] [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] is the armor shredder that allows you to still dish out the damage when the enemies have a large amount of armor. [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] is a great pick up when the enemy team is starting to reach above the 120~ armor mark. [imgsmall=items/banshees-veil.png] An item that isn't usual bought a lot since [imgsmall=items/quicksilver-sash.png] is the general standard against dangerous spells, but Banshees is great when you need tanky stats and a spell blocking shield. Goes great with [imgsmall=summoners/cleanse.png]. [imgsmall=items/quicksilver-sash.png] One of my favorite items in the game. When the enemy team uses a strong supression or a CC that they think can pin you down, pop [imgsmall=items/quicksilver-sash.png] and reposition with your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] or [imgsmall=summoners/flash.png]. You can then proceed to continue pooping on the enemy team. [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] Oh shit, you are the primary target during team fights. Oh crap, you're dying! HAHHAHAH, JK! You are back to life and all of their ultimates are down after blowing every single spell on you. Feel free to troll face as you get a penta kill. [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png] Great for forcing objectives like blue buff, red buff, dragon, and baron. You can easily solo dragon if you are not interrupted by the enemy team early game. It gives a decent amount of armor, attack damage, and lifesteal. [imgsmall=items/executioners-calling.png] Great buy for the critical strike and decent lifesteal it provides. I like to buy this when I am facing [imgsmall=champ/vladimir.png] / [imgsmall=champ/swain.png] / [imgsmall=champ/soraka.png]. I also use this when I don't have ignite. Instead, I am running [imgsmall=summoners/cleanse.png] / [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png] / [imgsmall=summoners/exhaust.png] / [imgsmall=summoners/ghost.png]. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ [center][img=items/infinity-edge.png] or [img=items/the-bloodthirster.png]?[/center] [highlight][img=items/infinity-edge.png][/highlight] Get it when: [.] You know you are going to fight and group immediately. [.] Need more burst damage than sustained damage. [.] [imgsmall=items/zekes-herald.png] is being built on your team (by the time or close when you have your IE) [highlight][img=items/the-bloodthirster.png][/highlight] Get it when: [.] Laning phase will be dragged out to obtain stacks. [.] More sustained damage. [.] More damage for taking down towers [.] More damage for [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png]

[imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] [highlight]Resets your auto attack timer[/highlight] Make sure you abuse this. It will give you an "extra hit" when fighting and it helps when there are 2 low minions and you can't get it without just 2 auto attacks. So, an auto attack and a [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] will allow you to get those last hits. [highlight]Keep MOVING[/highlight] As [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] you want to be unpredictable. Especially against heavy skill shot champions such as [imgsmall=champ/corki.png][imgsmall=champ/ezreal.png][imgsmall=champ/urgot.png]. You want to be dodging their spells. If you can keep doing this you will be able to outplay your opponent. [highlight][imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] as much as possible when [imgsmall=skills/vayne/r.png] is on.[/highlight] Every day I'm Tumblin'. You should be doing this as much as possible because you will be stealthed and it will confuse opponents when you are [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png]ing into stealth. With Rank 3 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] + Rank 1 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/r.png] = 2 Seconds of Stealth With Rank 4 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] + Rank 1 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/r.png] = 2 Seconds of Stealth ( Sometimes 3 if you got a blue buff or some sort of cooldown reduction from the team) With Rank 5 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] + Rank 1 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/r.png] = 4 Seconds of Stealth With Rank 5 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] + Rank 2 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/r.png] = 5 Seconds of Stealth With Rank 5 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] + Rank 3 [imgsmall=skills/vayne/r.png] = 6 Seconds of Stealth [highlight]Da Combo[/highlight] Auto Attack + [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] + [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] + ([imgsmall=skills/vayne/w.png]) = Strong harass in lane. An auto + [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] + [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] total up 3 stacks of [imgsmall=skills/vayne/w.png]. A great combo to trade with the enemy in lane.

[imgsmall=champ/vayne.png]'s early game is strong and weak at the same time. If you play it wrong, it is very weak. Positioning is very key here because [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] is a squishy champion. Her damage is strong, but you have to position it well. Overall, you should farm for the mid-late game as this is where [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] truly shines. You should poke the enemy carry as much as possible. [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] is very squishy; she can get bursted from 100% to 0% with strong aggressive supports such as [imgsmall=champ/blitzcrank.png][imgsmall=champ/leona.png][imgsmall=champ/alistar.png][imgsmall=champ/taric.png]. Sometimes, in the early game, you should consider leveling [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] first to setup early ganks and kills.

Dragon fights and buff control fights happen around the early to mid game. In these kinds of scenarios... 1. You must be healthy at ALL TIMES. 2. Buy when you NEED to buy, not WANT to buy. (Like buy 1 minute before dragon spawns or the buff spawns.) 3. Shove out your lane 4. Group with your team and FIGHT. After there are no objectives on the map, you will more likely have 3 situations. These being that you are dominating, even, or losing. In the dominating situation, you want to try your best and zone the enemy laner. This could be done by freezing the lane on your side of the river or simply shoving and harassing constantly. Force objectives, take towers when necessary, and group. In the even situation, try to call for good ganks and DO NOT DIE. This is worst time for you to die and it can put you behind. If you have kill potential go for it! Otherwise be careful! Just CS safely and ward around if you can't pull off the gank. In the behind situation, do your best to CS. Try not to take free harass, play passive as you are not stronger than the enemy team. Try to get your jungler to help you out here and there. Even your mid laner can help you out sometimes. So, overall, just CS and don't die.

Late game is where you shine and where you can throw the game / mess up. The pressure is 90% on you. You mess your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] and can't get out. GG You get caught. GG Too afraid. GG Too aggressive. GG Not with the team during a big fight. GG You should be behind your team [highlight]no matter what[/highlight]. This late in the game during an actual fight, YOU MUST kill whatever is in front of you first. You must dig your way out of the tunnel and you can't do that without digging the very first part of it. Which, in this case, is their tanks/bruisers. GENERALLY it will be: TANKS>BRUISERS>SUPPORT>AP>AD. That is what you will be destroying first in the late game scenario. I will not really include a in depth explanation for when people get caught. When someone gets caught just kill them. Always farm accordingly and be safe. Like in my [imgsmall=champ/ezreal.png] guide, farm when there are no objectives and farm safely when there are objectives up.

This is a overall general view on [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png]. If you should take anything from this guide, know that you will have to practice positioning with your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] to be an effective [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png].
