Blitzcrank is one of the most fun champions in the game with a lot of potential if played right. He can fulfill like any role a team requires, but I feel he is best when played as a tanky DPS.

[title]Marks[/title] Flat ArPen Marks are the best in this Slot. No other options. [title]Seals[/title] I use Dodge Seals, but these are personal preference. Other options: Flat Armor, Health/LVL [title]Glyphs[/title] MR/LVL or Flat MR; it`s your own choice. Other options: CD/LVL or Flat CD [title]Quints[/title] MS Quints work really good on Blitzcrank, as he is one of the slowest champs. With your masteries and these Quints you will have 323 MS instead of 300. Other options: Flat HP, Flat ArPen

[title][img=skills/blitzcrank/p.png] Passive: Mana Barrier[/title] [number]Blitzcrank's Mana Barrier can activate once a minute when he hits 20% life. This creates a Mana Shield equal to 50% of his mana for 10 seconds. [/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This passive will save your life often, as it you gives you lots of effective HP. Some people tend to forget the passive, when trying to towerdive a Blitzcrank, so use it as a bait !!! NOTE: You gain a shield for 50% of your current mana, not for your total amount. [title][img=skills/blitzcrank/q.png] Q: Rocket Grab[/title] [number]Blitzcrank fires his right hand, if it encounters an enemy unit it will stun them and deal 60 / 120 / 180 / 240 / 300 (+80% of ability power) magic damage while he pulls them to himself. Cooldown 22 / 21 / 20 / 19 / 18seconds Cost 140mana Range 10000[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This skill is the most awesome skill in the game. It allows you to hook an enemy in to your team guaranteeing almost every time a free kill. I made an extra chapter for this skill, since there are many uses and tricks to know about it. [title][img=skills/blitzcrank/w.png] W: Overdrive[/title] [number]Blitzcrank supercharges himself to increase Movement Speed by (16 / 20 / 24 / 28 / 32)% and attack speed by (30 / 38 / 46 / 54 / 62)% for 8 seconds. Cooldown 22seconds Cost 90mana Range 1[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] There is not much to say about it. Use it for escapes and chasing enemies. Use it as a gap-closer for lining up your hooks. Use it for destroying turrets. [title][img=skills/blitzcrank/e.png] E: Power Fist[/title] [number]Blitzcrank charges up his fist to make his next attack deal double his total attack damage and pop his target up in the air. Cooldown 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5seconds Cost 25mana Range 300[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This is your single target burst damage and the reason why I recommend sheen as a core item. It has a low cooldown and a low mana cost, making you able to spam it during laning and team fights. [title][img=skills/blitzcrank/r.png] R: Static Field[/title] [number]Passive: Lightning arcs off of Blitzcrank to hit a random nearby enemy for 100 / 200 / 300 (+25% of ability power) magic damage every 2.5 seconds. Active: Deals 250 / 375 / 500 (+100% of ability power) and silences surrounding enemy units for 0.5 seconds. The passive is not in effect during the cooldown. Cooldown 40seconds Cost 150mana Range 600[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This ultimate is really powerful, because it deals nice AoE damage while disrupting all enemies. When fighting an enemy use it only as a finishing spell, because the passive will deal significant damage that should not be underestimated.

Rocket Grab at LVL 1 only, because the mana cost stays at 140 and you can´t afford to spam this early on. Power Fist will be the first skill to max, because it offers you the most early game burst with low mana cost. After getting your Tri-Force, you will deal significant damage with your Overdrive; thats why maxing second. Ulti whenever possible.

You have to use this skill extremly precisely and should not miss it often. Predict the enemies moves when they walk in the Fog of War. Use your Power Fist after hooking someone. Care for Banshee Veils, when trying to hook someone. Don´t hook the enemy tank, because it can allow them a free initiation (e.g. Amumu) Use it for protecting your carries. You can hook enemies out of the fight. [title]COMBOS:[/title] Power Fist -> Flash -> Rocket Grab -> Power Fist Flash -> Rocket Grab Rocket Grab -> Power Fist

Try to initiate a fight with your Rocket Grab. Immediately start to Power Fist the enemy AD or AP carry and attack them. Use your Ult to stop Ultimates like Nunu´s or to finish low HP enemies. Try to pull a fed enemy out of the fight, to give your team the chance to kill the others.

Blitzcrank can jungle and his ganks are awesome, because of his Overdrive and Power Fist and being able to hook enemies that flashed away. As masteries I use 13/3/14 for an easier jungle clear and some utility. I use the following runes: Marks: 7*Flat AD and 2*Flat ArPen Seals: 9*Flat Armor Glyphs: 9*Flat AS Quints: 2* Flat AD and 1*Flat AS Start with a Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potions. Your jungle route should look like this: -Blue Buff (need a good pull and smite) -Wolves -Wraiths -Golems (smite) -Recall and get boots and some more Health Potions -Wolves -Wraiths -Red Buff (smite) -
