Hello dear SOLOMID users! I want to introduce to you my "Don't even try killing me... " Graves guide! In this guide I will show you how I managed to build up a hard-to-kill AD carry with a great burst, ~400 dmg, quite nice health and acceptable Attack Speed. The best support for Graves in bottom lane is due to her ability to constanly refill your mana pool and to help you when you harrass your opponents all the time with her heal and the bonus armor by getting healed. Graves works also nice with and , because of their stun abilities. I think isn't working so great with Graves because the benefits ot Sona's aries aren't so great. doesn't work with Graves, and isn't considered to be played as supporter nowadays... If you have as supporter in your team you should pick Graves for the AD carry of the game because they have a huge amount of burst together and you can easily demolish your enemies. On the other side - the best champions to play against in bottom lane are: , , , , , and other squishy champs which you can easilly harras or even burst them with your and to kill them. If you know you're going against or you should ensist on picking Graves because it will be an easy lane for you to dominate and get fed.

[title] Passive: True Grit[/title] [number]Graves gains 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 bonus Armor and Magic Resist every second he remains in combat (stacks up to 10 times). Graves is treated as in combat if he has dealt or taken damage in the last 4 seconds. [/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] The longer you fight the better armor and magic resistance you will gain over time. It will be good if you can prepare before a fight with few stacks. [title] Q: Buckshot [/title] [number]Graves shoots three bullets in a cone, each dealing 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+80% of attack damage) physical damage to all enemies in their path. Enemies hit with multiple bullets take 35% damage from each additional bullet. Cooldown 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Cost 60/75/70/75/80 mana Range 750[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] The key thing about this spell is that the closer your enemy is - the greater damage you will deal. So before going in a 1vs1 fight try to reach closest to your enemy before using it. [title] W: Smoke Screen[/title] [number]Graves fires a smoke canister dealing 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+60% of ability power) magic damage on impact and creating a smoke cloud at the location that lasts (5) seconds. Enemies inside the cloud have their sight radius reduced and are slowed by 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 % while they remain in the cloud. Cooldown 20/19/18/17/16 seconds Cost 70/75/80/85/90 mana Range 300[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This skill is great for kiting your enemies why they remain inside the smoke cloud so try to land it when they will be in the center and even try going behind them with your Quickdraw ability. [title] E: Quickdraw[/title] [number]Graves dashes forward gaining 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 % increased Attack Speed for 4 seconds. Each of his basic attacks lowers the cooldown of Quickdraw by 1 second. Cooldown 22/20/18/16/14 seconds Cost 50/50/50/50/50 mana[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This ability is great for taking down towers, dragon or even barron. So when you participate in these fight or even if you solo dragon, always use it for the bonus attack speed. It's also similar to [imgsmall=champ/renekton.png]'s Slice and Dice ability which you can use to go through walls! [title] R: Collateral Damage[/title] [number]Graves fires off an explosive shell dealing 250 / 375 / 500 (+150% of attack damage) physical damage to the first enemy champion hit. After hitting a champion or reaching the end of its range, Collateral Damage deals 150 / 275 / 400 (+120% of attack damage) physical damage in a cone behind the target. Cooldown 80/70/60 seconds Cost 100 mana Range 700[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] The great thing about this skill is if your enemy is running away from you, you should try hitting them with this spell and when they keep running they will suffer the ammount of the bonus damage spreaded in the cone behind.

I go for the armor penetration marks and this of course is because you play after all and AD carry. I pick health per level seals since it works great with my [imgsmall=items/warmogs-armor.png] + [imgsmall=items/atmas-impaler.png] build(giving you more health and even more damage) late game. As for glyphs - well I'm still hessitating if I should pick magic resistance over ability cooldown. Ability cooldown works great for your dominance over the lanes but for late game magic resistance make you quite hard to be killed by casters. But in the end I somehow prefer magic resistance because it will help me sustain most of the damage I take when getting focused late game. And for quintesences I choose +2.25 attack damage which helpes you great with your last hits and high damage output in the early game.

As for your skill order there isn't needed much explanation - you max right away with your ability and you level up last. Maxing up your is the key of your success because when you use it along with you make an INSANE amount of burst. If your enemy tries to run away you can chase him with your ability and slow(eventually kill)it with your .

When laning with a supporter you should go for the as first item. If you somehow chose to go solo top you should start with + . When you get enough farm you should go right away to base to buy and then with the extra kills you will get you should finish right away! If the team you play against doesn't have a lot of instant damage dealers you should go for and then . As for your next item I prefer going for before because it will make a great amount of attack speed when you use your ability. And when you get your damage should get very close to 400 and since the gold will rain over you, you should start buying . Anyway, if you're wondering when you should build and when the answer is very simple. You choose when the enemy team has a lot of CCs(CCs are considered to be slows, stuns, fears and silences) because of the Tenacity effect(this Tenacity efect reduces the duration of these CCs). You can also choose when the enemy team has more than 2 ability power champions, because of the extra magic resistance you receive plus ability power champions usually have some kind of CCs. On the other side - if they don't have CCs you can counter, you must build and ESPECIALLY if they have a lot of squishy champions and squishy item builds. come in quite handy with the bonus attack speed from your ability + item. I don't consider as a valid item for this build since you don't benefit good from it since it gives attack and movement speed and critical chance, but no damage, nor health or sustainability.

In early game you should focus on not letting your enemies last hit without being harrased. And on the other side you shouldn't fall behind with your CS-es. While harrasing feel free to dive in for a kill but don't push your lane too much cause you will make the enemy jungler easier to gang you, tho you can escape with + but I won't say the same for your supporter, especially if it's .

Mid game for you beggins when you destroy the 1st enemy tower on your lane. Then you should head over the other lanes for some extra kills to help you build up your 3rd and 4th item and then dominate the rest of your lane. Don't hesitate to steal some kills with your abilities, because afterall you are going to carry the game.

Late game is the time when you can kill anyone easily and even dive to save your teammates with your ability and comfront or escape easily due to your great magic resistance and armor gained from and health from

In team fights try always to surprise your enemies with your entering by using and then for your better positioning on using + for the most spreaded burst over the enemy team.
