Kayle may have been nerfed hard enough with the "remake" that she effectively lost one of her wings, but she is now a fairly powerful ad/support carry jungler who has enjoyed a small recent surge in popularity due to her ability to quickly aoe down the jungle combined with her potent damage output in ganks and carry protecting potential.

[own3d]http://www.own3d.tv/video/346412/Reidan_Kayle_Jungle_5[/own3d] An example of a farm jungle Kayle with a very weak pull - level 4 gank with red buff.

[own3d]http://www.own3d.tv/video/346418/Reidan_Kayle_Jungle_6[/own3d] A failed gank where I only land a Q and an autoattack.. which forces a flash and 2 potions for my top lane.

[imgext=http://i.imgur.com/MAA5z.png] 25% Attack speed will give you the best combination of AoE and single target damage as well as allow you to stack your passive and black cleaver much faster and proc wriggles more. 13 armor keeps your hp much higher in the jungle as well as giving you much needed survivability early game when flat penetration is at its strongest. 24 magic resist at 18 because you really shouldn't be taking too much magic damage early game and mana isn't much of a problem on Kayle as long as you aren't spamming her heal on cooldown. That being said, feel free to swap a few or all of your glyphs out for mana regen based on personal taste.

[title][img=skills/kayle/p.png] Passive: Holy Fervor[/title] [number]Kayle's basic attacks against enemy champions now reduce their armor and magic resistance by 3% for 5 seconds (stacks up to 5 times)[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Pretty weak on its own especially when you consider it takes 5 hits to stack it, but as explained above it is a % reduction which will increase the effectiveness of your flat reduction making Black Cleaver and Stark's Fervor very powerful for anyone on your team hitting your target. [title][img=skills/kayle/q.png] Q: Reckoning[/title] [number]Blasts a target, dealing 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+100% of bonus attack damage and +100% of ability power) magic damage and slowing its movement speed by 35% for 4 seconds. While the target is slowed, Kayle inflicts 6/7/8/9/10% increased damage to them. Cooldown 8 seconds Cost 70/75/80/85/90 mana Range 650[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Moderate slow, good damage & range, decent damage increase. This should be maxed 2nd with the first point either at level 2 or 4 depending on whether you are ganking at 2 after blue or farming your jungle to 4. You should always try to hit the target you're going to be wailing on for a bit with this first. Tip: the damage increase on this boosts smite and wriggles procs. [title][img=skills/kayle/w.png] W: Divine Blessing[/title] [number]Blesses an allied champion, healing them for 45/85/125/165/205 (+35% of ability power) health and increasing their movement speed by 15/17/19/21/23% for 2.5 seconds. Cooldown 15 seconds Cost 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 mana Range 1000[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Pretty weak heal with a decent speed increase. This is generally going to be used more for the speed increase than the heal, easily allowing your carry being focused by the enemy team to maneuver around and disengage from combat as he pleases or to allow you to sprint into a lane to land a Q in a gank. [title][img=skills/kayle/e.png] E: Righteous Fury[/title] [number]Kayle's attacks strike at range. These attacks splash, dealing an additional magic damage to her target and nearby units take 20 / 25 / 30 / 35.5 / 40% of her attack damage plus magic damage. The total bonus damage is 20/30/40/50/60 base damage plus (+20% of ability power). Cooldown 16 seconds Cost 45 mana[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] The new Kayle's bread and butter, make sure this is ALWAYS on when you're attacking - if it isn't on you probably shouldn't be attacking as an extremely squishy melee. Max this first for maximum jungle farm speed as well as the highest sustained damage in fights, the 10 extra damage every single hit per level really adds up. [title][img=skills/kayle/r.png] R: Intervention[/title] [number]Bathes Kayle's target in a holy light, rendering them immune to all damage for 2 / 2.5 / 3 seconds. Cooldown 90seconds Cost 100 / 75 / 50mana Range 1200[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Finally, Intervention the main reason to pick Kayle and what really makes her shine in team fights. With only a 2 second duration early game capping out at 3 seconds late game, you'll find it is generally more effective to cast this on someone right before a huge burst lands on them than to make them live a few seconds longer. For instance, landing Intervention right before a Leblanc or Sion combo lands can easily save a carry upwards of a thousand hp and easily allow them to run around as they please, instead of giving them only 2-3 seconds of extra damage at 1% hp. In very late game 5v5 team fights to the death I would recommend saving this for either your AD or AP carry (or possibly yourself) even if your tank dies first, they should have used their ult and cc and accomplished their job already.

R > E > Q > W I do this to maximize farming and sustained DPS with your poorly scaling healing/speed buff maxed last.

With a strong top lane such as Gangplank or Jarvan on purple team I would recommend ganking immediately after your blue. Walk through tri-brush and around, land a Q, cast your E, hit them and walk with them in between attacks. This should easily land 300 or more damage resulting in a kill in some cases or blowing most of their potions in others. On blue team or with a weak top lane, I would recommend getting W at level 2 and going wolves > blue > wraiths > golems > red > wraiths for level 4 after which you can easily gank any lane with the above strategy, although for mid you will need to grab your boots first. After this, just farm your jungle with your maxed E and gank any lanes that need help or are an easy gank. I usually take the first 2 blues and start giving them to mid after that.

At this point you should have your Black Cleaver finished and be working on your Starks. If you have a decent bot lane, your armor shred should easily allow you to secure kills there if pulled off correctly after which you can easily grab a dragon kill. Remember, almost no one can refuse the bait of a 200 HP ad carry while you wait nearby with your ult to save them ;). Mid game Kayle should be bringing almost everyone to negative armor giving yourself and anyone else auto attacking your target a ton of damage.

In team fights you should try to stay next to your ad carry and hit the same target as them. This allows you to greatly increase their damage with your armor shredding and you should be in position to get the best use out of your ultimate. For items, I like to grab an Aegis to give my survivability a much needed boost here which can be followed up by a Trinity Force, Guardian Angel, or Banshee's Veil depending on how long the game drags on and how much more survivability you need. Remember to toss a W on your tank/initiator for the speed boost if your carry is fine on positioning.
