[title]YO SUP[/title] My name is Yakkut. Im Brazilian (huehuehue), mid elo player (1500~). I decided to do this guide since I started picking up Renekton on rankeds for solo top. I played him on my normals too, since his release, not giving much attention to him. Recently, I've started playing him 'cuz I wanted a solo top that could dominate the lane. So, you must be thinking, why am I looking at a 1500 player guide, who is Brazilean!? See, there aren't many good Renekton guides, so, since I managed to play him at least decently, I decided to make this. Any suggestions, criticism, or just want to call me n00b, feel free to add me in-game. PS: Why do I foresee the many comments with "WTF NO MORDE? HUEHUEHUE"? Just so you guys know, since Morde's nerf, The Croc (its how we refer to Renekton in Brazil) is #1 now. This guide shows the way I play Renekton. And this is my first guide, criticism is always welcomed, but try to not be offensive, k?. *UPDATE* - Updated runes & masteries and Summoner Spell chapter! *UPDATE 2* - Summoner Spells and Itens *UPDATE 3* - On going mass-update on the guide

Renekton, The Hue Butcher Pros: Tankish Strong Teamfight Presence Good Sustain Good Single-Target CC Mobility/Escape Good Damage Early/Mid game Lane Dominant Awesome Champ Badass Champ Loved between BRs Can take 2v1 situations Cons: Mad hate towards Nasus (I like dogs) Bit Slow Relies on early game advantages to dominate Kinda CDR Reliant Falls off a bit late game

[imgext=] Why 1 dmg blue? Because it gives you flat 16 damage instead of 15. something. Standart page for a AD caster.. The flat 16 damage helps you last hit with ease, and its perfect for early game auto-attacks + bonus damage for abilities (since your non-ultimate abilities scale off ad). You can have Arpen marks and/or quints if you are against some dude with high armor (e.g. Malphite). Variations: 9x AD Marks 9x Armor 8x/9x per level MR and/or 1 AD Blue 3x AD Quints You use this page against a double AP composition, so you have a little more MR late game (from the MR per level blues) An early Mercurys Treads would help against a comp like this too. 9x ArPen Marks 9x Armor 8x/9x Flat or Per Level MR and/or 1 AD Blue 3x AD Quints. You can use this page versus champions with high armor (Malphite, Pantheonm, Another Renekton lol) If you are interested in the values of champion's armor: You can also use Health Quints if you feel it would be safer against an AP opponent or if you want for other reason, and you can also use MS Quints for helping dodging skillshots/kiting. This is pretty much it. If you use any other different then the ones I suggest, leave a comment or talk to me in-game.

[title] Passive: Reign of Anger[/title] [number]Renekton gains 5 Fury per autoattack. Having sufficient fury empowers Renekton's abilities with bonus effects, but this drains Fury. Out of combat, Renekton loses 5 Fury per second.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This was the first fury passive. Pretty cool huh? Althought its kinda tricky to get used to it. The damage from your skills also add fury, if you are below 50. To max this passive's effectiveness, try to keep it above 50. Then you say "BUT YAKKUT, HOW DOES I DEAL DAT DAMAGE IF I CANT USE MY PASSIVE?". When I say try to keep it above 50, its not all the time. What I mean is, you try to keep it above 50 early on, then you can use your skills and deal tons of damage to your enemy, drain the bar, and then fill it up again. With time you get used to keeping it above 50, either auto-attacking, last hittings only, or using skills. Keep in mind that you only gain fury with your skills when the bar is not on 50. [title] Q: Cull The Meek[/title] [number]Renekton swings his blade, dealing 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+80% Attack Damage) physical damage to nearby enemies and gains 5% of the damage dealt as Health, up to 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150. Each hit grants 5 Fury, up to 25. Enemy champions grant 400% additional health recovery. 50 Fury Bonus: Dmage increased to 90 / 135 / 180 / 225 / 270 (+). Heal percent increased to 10%, up to 150 / 225 / 300 / 375 / 450. Cooldown 8seconds Cost No Cost or 50 Fury Range 20[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Renekton's bread and butter. Amazing skill. If you are kinda low. try to get your passive above 50, the use this on the wave of minions, hitting as many as you can. If you want to harass, here is what you do: Dash in with [imgsmall=skills/renekton/e.png](DASH IN TRYING TO HIT A ENEMY, SO YOU CAN BACK OUT WITHOUT TAKING MUCH DAMAGE!), use [imgsmall=skills/renekton/w.png], [imgsmall=skills/renekton/q.png] and back out. You start getting very aggressive with The Croc after level 3, wich is when you have all your primary skills. Also, this skill synergizes pretty damn well with [imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png]. [title] W: Ruthless Predator[/title] [number]Renekton's next attack strikes twice dealing physical damage 10 / 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 (+150% of his Attack Damage) and stuns for 0.75 seconds. Each hit applies on-hit effects. 50 Fury Bonus: Instead, Renekton attacks three times dealing physical damage 15 / 45 / 75 / 105 / 135 (+225% of his Attack Damage) and stuns his target for 1.5 seconds. Cooldown 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9seconds Cost No Cost or 50 Fury Range 300[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This is the skill you use when your fury bar is above 50. This is Renekton's skill that deals the most damage. Also, when using fury, it doubles the stun duration. Use this in teamfights for example, when that damn Cait is back there, doing her pew pew stuff. You use [imgsmall=skills/renekton/e.png], preferably hitting someone with with, so you dash again, reach your target and stun them. Pretty devastating move when you have enough fury. Can be used to engage too. But be carefull, since it is like Udyr's stun, you have to get in melee-range so you can stun. [title] E: Slice and Dice[/title] [number]Renekton Slice: Renekton dashes, dealing 45 / 75 / 105 / 135 / 165 (+) physical damage. Hitting an enemy grants the ability to use Dice for 4 seconds. Dice: Renekton dashes dealing 30/60/90/120/150 (+) physical damage. Dice - 50 Fury Bonus: Damage increased to 67.5 / 112.5 / 157.5 / 202.5 / 247.5 (+). Enemies hit have 15% / 17.5% / 20% / 22.5% / 25% reduced Armor for 4 seconds. Cooldown 18/17/16/15/14 Cost No Cost or 50 Fury Range 250[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Oh, what a skill. Probably one of the best in the game. This is The Croc's most useful skill. Dash in + Dash in again Dash in + Dash out Dash out + Dash out Dash away from something + Dash in back again This is awesome. Think of it as a double flash built in. You need practice to use this skill to its maximum. This can be used to engage, chase, run, deceive, juke. Really great skill. Now keep in mind that Dice uses fury, not Slice. So you can execute the combo: Slice, Ruthless Predator, Cull of the meek, (Situational Ult), Dice. Also, Dice reduces armor of targets hit by a big amount, so make the best use of it. For example, Slice someone, and then Dice through every enemy in the teamfight. Its an devastating effect everyone barely notices. Here is a pic showing where you can jump over walls: [imgext=] Credits to Cellebrian for the pic. [title] R: Dominus[/title] [number]Renekton surrounds himself with dark energies for 15 seconds, gaining 300 / 450 / 600 Health. While active, he deals 40/70/100 (+10% Ability Power) magic damage to nearby enemies and gains 5 Fury per second.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This ultimate. Oh boy. Just perfect. That insta health boots is devastating. And the AOE magic damage sometimes goes unoticed in teamfights, but thats because people doesn't expect it for some reason. Teamfight started, use it for the max damage output. But sometimes you will want to keep it, in case you get somewhat focused, and need that health boost. Pay attention to the fury gain, manage your time well so you can synergize the gain with your abilities cooldowns for the max utility and damage output. Also, this skill together with Slice and Dice is what makes Renekton so scary, since he can dive you with this, kill, and bail out with no problem. Or even withstand 2v1 situations with this.

> > > This is the best skill setup for Renekton. If you want to switch Q for W first, or maybe E for W, feel free, I'ved tried it, but the Q gives more utility (sustain) and aoe damage early on, and helps playing the aggressive style I play with Renekton early on, and it also helps you stay in lane longer, sustain 2v1 situations. Only one point in E is needed though, because on lane Q and W are more important for CC and Sustain. Try out variations of this if you want, I have tried it, and I feel this is the best path. If you disagree, leave a comment.

First of all, Renekton doesn't have a specific core build. His early game build changes depending the situation he is facing. [item=wriggles-lantern] vs [item=the-brutalizer] - (UPDATED) Lately I feel that Brutalizer (Selling it later for Last Whisper or another defensive item) + Dorans Blades are so much better then the single Wrigles. You will have more life, Arpen, damage, and some lifesteal. I would only pick up wrigles now when my team won't, so Baron/Dragon/Jungle control would be easier and safer. [title]Core Builds (each situation):[/title] CORE VERSUS AP (Vladimir, Kennen, Swain, etc): CORE VERSUS AD (Gangplank, Fiora, Renekton, Riven): CORE VERSUS HIGH ARMOR (Malphite, Pantheon): [title]Items[/title] Dont start with [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] unless you trust your jungler or you are 100% sure you can stomp your lane, since you will have no form of sustain (your Q doesnt heal as much as 3 pots do early on) and low mobility. Otherwise, start with [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] (4 Pots if you wait sometime at the spawn) Boots give you mobility, wich on Renekton you can use for harrass, kiting, running away/to faster then someone else. Then you go to one of the following builds: [title]Standart Build (Mixed Enemy Teamcomp):[/title] or Build order (usually): [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] -> [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] -> (Skip Dorans if REALLY fed and go to the others items) [imgsmall=items/phage.png] AND/OR -> [imgsmall=items/hexdrinker.png] -> (UPGRADE BOOTS) -> [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] -> [imgsmall=items/frozen-mallet.png] -> [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] [title]Heavy AP: [/title] (Warmog + Frozen Mallet if you are still getting beaten, otherwise get [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png]) Build order (usually): [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png]->[imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png]->[imgsmall=items/hexdrinker.png]->[imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png]->[imgsmall=items/phage.png]->[imgsmall=items/maw-of-malmortius.png]->[imgsmall=items/frozen-mallet.png]->[imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png]->[imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] [title]Heavy AD:[/title] Build order (usually): [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] OR [imgsmall=items/health-potion5.png][imgsmall=items/cloth-armor.png]->[imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png]->[imgsmall=items/ninja-tabi.png]->[imgsmall=items/phage.png]->[imgsmall=items/wardens-mail.png]->[imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png]->[imgsmall=items/frozen-mallet.png]->[imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] You don't have to build the items in this order. You build them in the order you need to. For example, facing Irelia, I would probably go with Mercurys Treads first to avoid the stun duration on her E and to help kiting. Or I would go ninja tab first against Pantheon to negate most of his damage. The aditional Doran's Blade are suposed to give you more sustain/damage. Its up to you to judge wich item would be better first and wich one to follow up with. The only thing I sugest is getting upgraded boots (if you didn't get them first) right after one or two Tier 2 Items, such as [imgsmall=items/phage.png],[imgsmall=items/hexdrinker.png], [imgsmall=items/the-brutalizer.png],[imgsmall=items/spirit-visage.png] for example. [title] Items you want to consider: [/title] When you are set behind a little bit by either dying/getting zoned/camped. Or when you plan to go for an early Raduins. Extremly good item on Renekton, because it gives you CDR (cooldown reduction), Attack Damage and Armor Penetration. This is way better then Wrigles. Althought I don't like to upgrade it to Youmus, I usually sell it for Last Whisper. Extremly Heavy Crowd Controlling Teams? This will help you alot! It gives you MR(Magic Resistance) plus the active wich cleanses you from CC. Not worth with Renekton. Why? Because you have to stack its passive for it to be fully effective! "But that isn't hard, since you have a triple hit with fury on W!". That is true, but while you have to acomplish that or Auto Attack three times for it to be effective, [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] is always effective. OMFG 100 AD FULL STACK I CAN KILL ANYONE. Yeah you can, but better do it before you get blown up. This item gives you 100 AD on full stack, so you basically skip defenses for full attack. Thats risky, you have to judge it if its ok or not to do so. Not worth it. Most of the bonuses this item gives are basically useless on Renekton, such as the Sheen Proc/AP, Zeal Crit/Attack Speed. Situational for Heavy AD teams, because it provides you with 100 armor, and so does Guardian Angel, and both prices are not very far from each other. So I would only get this in extreme situations (eg. 5 or 4 ADs on the enemy team). Not good, since most of Renekton's damage comes from his skills and not Auto Attacks, plus, since you don't AA that much, you waste the item's passive (bonus MR). I usued to build this, switched out for other items that I think are more useful, such as Last Whisper, Frozen Mallet. The reason I don't like building Youmu on Renekton is because the active (Wich provides you with MS and AS) is half wasted. I mean, you will use the MS, but the AS is basically wasted, since Renekton doesn't do that much damage on auto attacks. For that reason and that it becomes somewhat weak late game compared to Last Whisper (because of the ArPen) on Renekton. Since you are a AD caster, this item is basically a core since your damaging abilities do Physical Damage, since it gives you %ArPen. Sometimes the situation calls for it...even thought building this on someone with no mana is a waste of gold, you may need the high armor. But if possible, build Randuins/Guardian Angel. Same as frozen heart, except that you should (if possible) build Maw of Malmortius/Guardian Angel, and in extreme ocasions, Force of Nature. Most of the time other people will build this, build when the situation calls (when protecting your team is better then diving the enemy carries), don't think twice. This is a pretty solid item. It gives you Health, Armor and MR, and provides an aura of AD, MR and Armor to your allies. Aegis of the Legion is one of the only two items in the game to offer both armor and magic resistance, the other being Guardian Angel. This item is amazing. Gives you a second life, Armor and MR. Get this whenever possible, when you already have some or all of your build completed (When you are about to enter late game. Thats around 35-40min). Another pretty solid item. Gives you health, huge Armor, an active AOE slow, passive that slows that attacker's AS, Cooldown Reduction. This is Raduin's Omen description on the active passive: "Unique: Slows movement speed and attack speed of surrounding units by 35% for 1 seconds + 0.5 seconds for every 100 armor and magic resistance. 60 second cooldown. (500 Range)". The slow duration increases the more armor and mr you have. Also, rushing an early Heart of Gold when you are behind, or a Warden's Mail to build in to this later when they are heavy AD is pretty good.

*UPDATE* Even though some of these champions are not "viable" in the current meta, these tips remain the same Here is some match ups you need to pay attention to: I hate this champ, seconded by Gangplank. You basically need to avoid 1v1 with him, since he can get lucky and crit your face several times in a row. Be extremly careful with this dude. *Update* You dont even see tryndamere anymore, and you should easily win this lane by trying to poke him, then he uses his rage to heal and does no crit dmg, plus hes not viable in the current meta game. Same as Trynda, anoying ass champ with his passive. Althought with this one you cannot be so passive, you need to be aggressive and control him, deny him farm and poke all the time, otherwise you will lose the lane. Be careful with his crits. If he starts criting too much, stay back, and call for help from jungle or mid. *Update* Just buy a ninja tab and hes done, since he has been nerfed. I usued to fear this champ on solo top, but then I found out about Renekton. His combo may hurt early on, but yours hurt him more. Keep that in mind, and play smart versus this one, dont get fooled. Shouldn't be a problem. Even though he can take your harass with his OP sustain, basically he can't 1v1 you. Shouldn't be a problem either. Just don't fall for her skill shots and be careful when you are too low, he cougar form can hurt beyond imagination. But you should easily control her. This one will probably be kinda passive early on. Do not make 1 single mistake, since she will steamroll your face with one bad decision you make. Careful with his Tiger damage. Remember it is magic damage. With his sustain though, it will be hard for you to take him out alone (I mean kill him alone, you shouldn't die to him). So ask for some help. Dodge his skill shots and you will be fine. Pay attention when you are waiting a little bit before using your ult, 'cuz if you get too low he will nomnomnom your face. Now I hate this guy. Unless you do something early on, he will become nearly unstoppable. So try to take him on early, 'cuz he won't have much damage as you, neither as much sustain. Don't let him farm too much, otherwise you're fucked. Sometimes you will need help from your jungler to take him down. The spin-to-win dude should not be a problem for you, since you are tanky and your constant poke will stop his passive. But you probably won't be able to kill him alone after early levels, so just try to be aggressive (with caution) early on and deny him farm/xp. Be careful with this damn fish. He can be trick as hell, but not hard to stomp. Just try to bait him into using his Q to you, then you unleash every skill you have on him. Be careful not to waste a skill on his E. Well, I feel that Renekton is basically a direct counter to Nasus. This guys is very very very passive early on, just farming and farming like Singed. Renekton is full-out aggressive early on, and Nasus won't be able to take you, so take advantage of it. This dude can be a real problem with his E. Try not to take his E and harass him as much as possible, but be careful with his sustain and damage, wich can be as much as yours. Althought if you can dodge his Q, you should be fine since he can't chase you without hiting it. Even though he seems squishie, he can make you miserable with his insane damage output early on by spamming his Q. I usued to play Pantheon a lot so I know that you have to be extremly careful with him, since he can burst you down quickly. Get Ninja Tabi ASAP. On a Riven vs Renekton match up, there isn't much difference. Basically most skilled player wins. What you should try to do against Riven is: First, avoid her stun! If you do this, you basically broke half of her combo, plus you won't be CC'd and take less damage. Second, be careful not to waste your skills on her when she uses the shield, or you will your skills for nothing! Also, Get Ninja Tabi ASAP. This dude can be a pain in the ass, but he is squishie, and if you can dodge his fire and his E, you can go back to harass and heal while his stuff is on cd. And he can't do shit to you after some point, unless he is godlike fed. Why someone would put Talon against a tankish champ is beyond me. Not a real problem to deal with here. There isn't much of a fight here, rush Ninja Tabi and just stomp him. You should easily face stomp this guy. Take ignite, poke poke and poke. Be careful when he gets help from his jungler though. One of the few champs that can take Yorick on lane, imo, is Renekton. Your cull of the meek + slice and dice should decimate his gouls. Although I don't think you will be able to take him out so easily without help. He will spam the shit out of you, but when you get him with his cooldowns, he can't do shit. Do not let him climb on your face. After level 9 he is really impossible to deal with, unless you stomped him earlier. This champ is pretty much like Tryndamere. She will just ult you if you duel her face to face. You need to use the poke strategie against her.

Lane Phase. You lane oponent will most likely be Tryndamere, Gangplank, Wukong, Nidalee, Irelia, Udyr, Cho'Gath, Singed, Garen, Fizz, Nasus, Olaf, Pantheon, Riven, Rumble, Talon, Volibear, Yorick. Read the "Laning against these guys for full information". Early on, you farm. By reaching level 3, you will have your 3 primary skills, this is when you judge if you keep playing passively (For example, if you are too pushed. Because by the time you reach level 3 their jungler will probably execute a gank) or if you go full-out aggressive, wich is when Renekton shines in lane. Renekton's ability to go in, "poke" with tons of damage, and get out, is amazing. By continuously executing Renekton's combo with his primary skills, you should be able to bring your lane enemy from full to half or even low health, and basically win your lane with your constant harass. I cannot stress out how much you can not UNDERESTIMATE YOUR LANE ENEMY. Never do this, never. This is what brings you from a huge lead, to a huge loss. Especially when you are versus "luck reliable" champs (By luck reliable, I mean SKILLESS), such as Gankplank or Tryndamere. You need to have in mind things such as: When to poke, when to engage, when to chase, when to run, map awereness (regarding their jungler or MIA laners), items, warding, etc. Remember that a gank can come from different directions. Pay close attention to Teleport, champs like Twisted Fate, river, the tribush, and top bushes. And by the way, EXPECT to be ganked. You are The Croc. They are always scared of you.

Mid game is here. If you have won your lane, start helping others, but do not miss too much farm. Ganks, concentraded pushs, baron & dragon control (Dragon and Baron control will be easy 'cuz you are so strong early/mid game) and small engagements is what Im talking about. If you won your lane, lets say if you are a bit fed, you will have easy control over those things. Also, decide when its safe to do it, and invade their jungle. Try to steal a red or blue buff. And I say it again, do not miss too much farm. Keep your lane warded. Always. There are several ways to ward: On blue side, you want to ward the tribush if you are goin for aggressive laning/dominating the lane. Why? Because by being aggressive, you will push the lane by default: either by hitting minions with your AOE habilities, or denying cs to the enemy. On purple side, you will want to ward directly in front of the baron pit. Why? Because most junglers/mid laners come from that path, right out of blue buff. If you find yourself getting dominated in lane, you will probably get dived at some point. So you will want to ward defensively: On blue side, ward the entrance to the river on top lane, and the tribush between the blue buff and the first top turret. On purple side, ward the tribush. Warding the lane bushes is sometimes an option, but its difficult to judge when. Usually junglers like Skarner, Hecarim, Malphite and Lee Sin do lane ganks. Now its the time to start roaming and goin for dragon/ganks if possible. "If possible" means that you are not getting stomped in lane, and some control of the lane. If you do, coordinate with your jungler and mid, push hard the lane and go down for a dragon or a gank bot. Or talk with your mid lane and set up a gank mid, maybe a triple gank with the jungler, then proceed to dragon. After doing dragon/ganks, return to your lane, farm and try not to push, unless you are aiming for heavy counter jungling/ganking mid to help your mid laner. Counter-Jungling (Yes, counter-jungling isn't restricted to junglers): On purple(red) side, you will want to steal their blue buff/wolf camp. To do the blue buff, you have to make sure its safe enough to get it and get out, either by having vision around it (wards) or on enemies (maybe they are ganking bot lane, or they just don't know where you are). Try to figure out where they jungler is, else it would be very risky to try to steal the blue buff. Sometimes you will also want to leave a small lizard(or small wolf) to counter the camp. On blue side, you aim for their red buff/golems (sometimes the wraiths too, if possible). But this is a bit trickier, because they can come from many sides. But, you have the advantage to Slice/Dice over the Baron pit and run away (they either have to burn a dashing hability or flash to chase you).

Late game, Renekton falls off, that is a known fact. Why? Because his abilities don't scale very well, even though their early damage is high. What does that mean? Means that Renekton's skills have a high base damage. That is the "default" value of the skill (for example, take Cull of the Meek([imgsmall=skills/renekton/q.png]). Lets use it without thinking of fury. It does 180 flat damage when the skill is level 5. That is the "base" damage"). Now there is the "scaling factor" on Cull of the Meek. Its scales like this: for every 1 point of AD you have, Cull of the Meek gets 0.8 aditional damage. Thats what scaling is. Althought he does fall off late game, he is by all means still very useful. Will full build Renekton becomes a monster. Your mind set in late game should not be different from mid game. You still need to suppress their carries, or protect yours. But how do I know when to protect my carry or go for theirs? When your carry is stronger then theirs, you should stay around your carry and protect him from enemy divers. When their carry is stronger, you should try to supress them if possible. (You can figure out wich one is stronger by looking at items/kills/cs (cs = Creep Score. 1 minion kill = 1 cs). If one carry has more Kills and/or CS and/or Items, that carry is stronger than the other. Baron control and Dragon control are always important, obviously. If you still have a slot left, buy some wards, always try to buy wards, otherwise get a oracles and try to clear the map, together with some pots. Most of the time, side pushing is not an option for you, keep that in mind. You are a team oriented fighter. Don't engage the fights unless you have no engager. Renekton isn't a engager champion, you lose your teamfight potential if you do so (UNLESS their carry is WAY out of position and you can freely kill/hurt them). The reason why you shouldn't engage is because you will put your skills on cooldown, and that free time will allow the enemy carries to do free damage. You may think some seconds aren't that much, but for a fed ap/ad carry, five seconds is enough to dish out tons of damage.

Now, you shouldn't be the initiator. You should be the guy who follows your initiator right as he goes in. If you need to be the initiator, you need a Udyr-intended mind. You are tankish, but not immortal. You dash in with [imgsmall=skills/renekton/e.png], stun with [imgsmall=skills/renekton/w.png], position yourself and use [imgsmall=skills/renekton/q.png], then use [imgsmall=skills/renekton/r.png] if you drop too low or notice if you are/going to get focused. Try to not die while doing this, because without their suppressor, your team will be severely crippled. You are there to suppress their carries. Before it starts, you locate the primary targets. Their are the carries back there, like Cait, or Trist. You will identify them by the PEW PEW PEW PEW sound. Other targets you will identify by the explosion, burning or your teamates crying. Those are the AP carries you want to focus. Keep in mind that sometimes you need to stay with YOUR carries and PROTECT them. Now, if you are going to jump in and suppress those mofos, here is what you do: Pop [imgsmall=skills/renekton/r.png], [imgsmall=skills/renekton/e.png] until you reach them, [imgsmall=skills/renekton/q.png], [imgsmall=skills/renekton/w.png]. Reason why you use [imgsmall=skills/renekton/q.png] before [imgsmall=skills/renekton/w.png] is that, together with your ultimate, [imgsmall=skills/renekton/q.png] will gather enough fury for the bonus effects on [imgsmall=skills/renekton/w.png], so you can suppress their carry harder (You will stun for 1.5 instead of 0.75). With Renekton, you need to stay IN THE TEAMFIGHT for max utility for your team and damage output. Damage output because of [imgsmall=skills/renekton/r.png] and [imgsmall=skills/renekton/q.png], wich hits for AOE. Utility because of [imgsmall=skills/renekton/e.png] and [imgsmall=skills/renekton/w.png], for the stun and situational Armor Reduction. Please, please, please please please, NEVER CHASE SOMEONE OUT OF THE TEAMFIGHT. Jesus, when I see people doing this, I want to puch them in the nuts. Especially with Renekton, YOU WILL CRIPPLE YOUR TEAM BY DOING THIS. If you notice that your target is fleeing, YOUR JOB IS DONE. Thats when you get your Croc ass back in the fight to help your team win that shit.

Sometimes you will find yourself in a situation where you are tempted to fight. Even if it is a 2v1. With enough practice, you will learn to tell when it will be a kill for you, or a kill for them. I have a replay, that I can post later, thats a perfect example of this situation. Its me getting ganked on early levels. Initially I run away from the enemy, but I baited them back into diving me, resulting in a first blood + another kill, even thought I died, "It was worth it." - Phreak. Renekton is capable of withstanding a 2v1 situation with the right conditions, so do not be scared. Keep cool and see the situation as a whole. Especially when you are 6, you can be extremely deceiving, since you gain a 300 insta-health boots from your ult, plus a full combo + ignite is devastating for a lower-leveled enemy (Usually the jungler). I can't say much about this. You will learn it with time and practice.

Jungle Renekton is not un-viable, at least in Old Jungle (I miss it so much ;_;). He can do the new jungle fine, but keep in mind that it is worse than in the Old Jungle and he will not shine as much as in top lane. If by any means you decide to do this, or are force to (It can happen), this is what you should do: You should ignore this chapter and go to MushroomStampede's guide: But if you are too lazy to click another link: Summoners: Skill Order: >>> Basically, in jungle, you max E over W. So R>Q>E>W. Credits to Grix (Thanks for the awesome comment!): "Something I've noticed while jungling as Renekton is by going W first, if you get a good leash, it's possible to take almost no damage (if you're going sustained route starting with blue buff.) Think about it this way: instead of healing off of Q, you are reducing the damage you would be taking anyways. I'm not saying going Q first is bad, but with some practice Renekton W jungle can be great for level two ganks if not slightly more unstable. Another thing about jungling: remember to tell people about how wriggles interacts with W. Each time W hits, it has a chance to proc wriggles. I tend to save my fury for the stun, since you're fairly likely to get at least one wriggles proc off with it, sometimes even two. Stonewall referred to this as Snowball jungling. Great stuff." Starting items: Core Item: Basic build for any jungler AD. From this you should follow up the builds I've shown in the Item Builds Chapter. Your Route should be something like this: Wolves -> Blue (with leash) -> Wraiths -> Golems Now you either gank, or wait some time for your pots to work and do Red. You can do Dragon with some help from your bot or mid lane by the time you have your wrigles. I encourage you not to try it earlier without help. This route is fairly the best in new jungle, imo. You can try any other you want or think its better. If you know of a better one especially for Renekton, leave it in the comments, and I will add it here with credits.

Ok guys, I have a replay where I'm playing against a Lee Sin. Here it is: Im sorry, but I can't really upload a full video to youtube, it would take around a week or so for me to upload a full game. I'll upload other replays later.

This was my first guide guys! This is how I play Renekton. Maybe my way of playing him may not please you, but don't hate ;). I gotta say, hes such an amazing champ! I have so much fun playing him. Please I would LOVE criticism (Non offensive)! Feel free to add me in-game. I can teach you how to properly go HUEHUEHUE. BTW check out this guys named I Will Dominate, he is probably the best Renekton player out there (With me right behind <3). Leave a coment below if you want to say anything, have any ideas or just wanna call me noob :D PS: When you are getting ganked by their jungler, and you manage to kill one, or even both enemies, type HUEHUEHUE in all chat. This can win games. (Sorry about any grammar mistakes).
