Hello, my name is HaZe Seven, and I play [imgsmall=champ/caitlyn.png] as my main character. I'm currently silver/gold, mainly playing AD carry. [imgext=] Cait is also one of the most played and successful in our ranked team. [imgext=] This is my first guide, so I shall do my best, and make it as detailed as possible for you guys. So, I fell in love with her from the day I got her, I think she offers a lot not only on individual levels, but on a bigger scale for the team. I think she offers a lot of potential for high skill cap players, and for beginners when it comes to playing AD carry. Pros: [.] High range [.] Good lane pressure [.] Strong damage early, mid and late game [.] High utility [.] Good when it comes to supports, she can lane with anything really [.] High lane control, zones very well [.] Lane manipulation Cons: [.] Channel times on abilities [.] Heavily reliant on her net for escape. (however, postioning as AD carry comes with the job, you shouldnt be in bad spots!) [.] Cannot global something like vayne or graves! More consistent damage

I think that this again is standard, and is the safest rune page to run. It offers good utility with the armor, and also an increased chance of getting poke/CS with the ArP and the AD quints. Other possibilities are: I have altered this part of the guide: 9 AD reds 9 MR blues they are the BiS imo. You could potentially use: [highlight]ArP runes:[/highlight] Armor pen would be good later game, it scales better into late game, but will made last hitting under tower etc harder. (which AD reds is brilliant for) they also work well vs taric lanes, and high armor team comps. the added arp will allow you to do the shredding of higher armor targets earlier in the game. [highlight]CRIT PAGES:[/highlight] Now this is very scary. Crit is a beast stat if it works for you. Critting on every single head shot proc will most defiantly force anyone out of lane early. It will completely dominate most match ups that do not have a sustain support, and they will have to constantly back out of the lane. I guess a con of this is that it could mess up last hitting, crits will push lane and throw you off csing. I have seen that her passive hits for around 170 at level 1. That is enough to make any other carry cringe.

[title][img=skills/caitlyn/p.png] Passive: Headshot[/title] [number]Every 8 / 7 / 6 attacks (at level 1 / 7 / 13) (attacks while in brush count as 2), Caitlyn will fire a headshot, dealing either 150% damage to a champion or 250% damage to a minion. [/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This passive is very strong, and in my opinion, slightly underestimated by enemy laners. A few things to go over about this passive: [.] [highlight]IF POSSIBLE, WITHOUT MISSING CS[/highlight] - I will use most headshot procs to poke at the enemy carry/support [.] You can use the bush to charge this if you want to get some burst out [.] Crit runes will make this VERY scary. [title][img=skills/caitlyn/q.png] Q: Piltover Peacemaker[/title] [number]Caitlyn revs up her rifle for 1 second to unleash a penetrating shot which deals 20 / 65 / 110 / 155 / 200 (+130% Attack Damage) physical damage (deals 10% less damage to subsequent targets, with a maximum loss of 50%).[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Piltover is a very good damage tool. It offers pushing of lanes, burst and good poke because of its range. A con of this is that it has a channel time on it, and that it can be dodged(QQ). It is unlike other carries abilities who have an instant burst of damage, MF q for example. [title][img=skills/caitlyn/w.png] W: Yordle Snap Trap[/title] [number]Caitlyn sets up to three traps to find sneaky yordles, which trigger on champions. When sprung, the trap immobilizes the target, reveals them for a short duration, and deals 80/130/180/230/280 (+80% of ability power) magic damage over 1.5 seconds. Traps last for 4 minutes. Cooldown 20/17/14/11/8 Cost 50 mana Range 500[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] These are great. They have many uses and if positioned correctly can make or break taking certain goals. For example, trapping baron or dragon area when preparing for fights. They can be used offensivly and defensively. They can be used in the mid lane to aid your AP carry, as can be done at bottom lane. they offer amazing zone potential. Traps can be used very well to manipulate lanes e.g, making them stand to the left, trapping bush areas. [imgext=] [imgext=] These highlight a few of the many areas traps can be used. Mirror these depending on which side you start. Then can be used offensively, and defensively in areas across lanes or in the jungle. They also serve as a good put off to stop jungle invasions. [title][img=skills/caitlyn/e.png] E: 90 Caliber Net[/title] [number]Caitlyn fires a net to slow her target by 50% for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds. This deals 80/130/180/230/280 (+80% of ability power) magic damage and knocks Caitlyn back. Cooldown 18/16/14/12/10 seconds Cost 75 mana Range 500[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] The key utility skill that cait has. This has been buffed, hurray! the cast time is almost instant now, and therefore puts it on par with other AD movement abilities, such as graves dash/corki valk. it is a mini flash, and who wouldn't want that. It allows cait to chase, slow and even jump small walls to get away from her chasers. used in combination with her flash, she can juke out multiple chasers. [imgext=] [imgext=] [title][img=skills/caitlyn/r.png] R: Ace in the Hole[/title] [number]Caitlyn takes time to line up the perfect shot, dealing 250 / 475 / 700 (+2 per attack damage) physical damage to a single target at a huge range. Enemy champions can intercept the bullet for their ally. Cooldown 90/75/60 seconds Cost 100 mana Range 1900/2050/2200[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This ability is always a fun one. it allows for: [.] bullying people out of lane [.] picking up kills [.] mind games, makes others think they must b to avoid a kill from this It can be blocked by other people, so bare this in mind, dont go willy nilly using this everytime it is off CD. The range has been buffed making this an even more amazing ability! the range allows for everything it has been used for before, as an even further distance. Continue to use it to poke, harras and pick off kills. [highlight]YOU MUST REMEMBER: [/highlight] At level 11, its damage doubles. This is huge. It pretty much lets you sneak in kills when they dont expect it.

Skill order is: W first, then max Q, then max W, then max E, taking ult when you can. [highlight]Ult: [/highlight] The damage increases are huge, too much to miss out on. [highlight]Q:[/highlight] This offers great ranking up ability, it is your main damage ability. [highlight]W:[/highlight] this should be maxed second. it offers CDR on the traps and therefore when it reaches mid game, these traps are used to trap key locations on the map. Dragon/baron control at this point are essential. [highlight]E:[/highlight] Take one point early. Level 4. This should be enough in conjunction with your summoners to get you away from whatever trouble you find yourself in.

[highlight]OPENING ITEMS:[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] if you have a non-sustain support. However, I sometimes even open this if I have a sustain lane. The speed allows good mobility and also allows you to easily run from incoming ganks. OR [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] offers everything that you need early, allows you to transition into your core -> mid game build [highlight]CORE:[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/bf-sword.png][imgsmall=items/vampiric-scepter.png] Now the vamp is optional, it allows for good trading hits with the other carry, but i guess it puts you 450g back on pickaxe if you can a sustain lane. (bare in mind: 3% masteries, 6% two dorans, lifesteal shouldnt be that big of an issue) Taking this does sorta make you unkillable. [highlight]ALTERNATIVE:[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png] This allows for safe laning due to the high number of stats it gives. offers lifesteal, and coupled with masteries and dorans its a bit like ":O". Id take this mainly when laning with [imgsmall=champ/janna.png],[imgsmall=champ/leona.png], [imgsmall=champ/blitzcrank.png] etc. It makes up for them not having a natural heal. [highlight]NEARING THE END GAME:[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/zeal.png][imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png](possible [imgsmall=items/vampiric-scepter.png]) This build by far offers the most damage that you will do. IE fits in so nicely with your passive aswell as the crit chance you have from zeal and other sources. It offers the biggest sustained damage in fights, and you can pretty much carry damage from this point on. Bare in mind [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] gets [highlight]A LOT[/highlight] stronger with AS. use this to your advantage. [highlight]ALTERNATIVE:[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png] instead of IE first. BT allows for you to stay in fights, instead of running away from them. It offers you sustain also. I dont think it offers as much high, consistent damage early on, but offers a lot of presence non the less. especailly when this bad boy is farmed fully. Fair this with [imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] for good damage, it sorta matches what IE will give. [highlight]FINAL BUILD:[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png][imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png][imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png][imgsmall=items/last-whisper.png] THEN [imgsmall=items/banshees-veil.png] OR [imgsmall=items/quicksilver-sash.png] I will mostly always take the QSS over banshees. It offers great utility for everything, removes morde ult, vlad ult, EVERYTHING. it sticks a middle finger up to most CC comps. I will even take this earlier if matched against heavy CC comps, even with cleanse. This final build offers the maximum damage, and it is what you want to aim for. An extra [imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png]could be taken in some situations. The ordering of this build imo, is very dependant on how the game is going, and which order these items are picked up at is dependant also. E.g if they all have 150 armor, take last whisper ealier. [highlight]FINALLY, ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE BUILD:[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png][imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png][imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png] this build idea is new, and was popularised at IEM Keiv by m5's AD player(at least that's the first time i saw it). It offers great mobility and utility, with strong dragon potential. Its movement speed is great, and it offers good damage/survivability combination. Paired with cait's passive the crits still hit a good amount, and the insane lifesteal allows good 1v1 skirmish potential. I have tried this out to some extent and i must say that it seems very strong. i think again, as with all builds going for this option is dependant, BUT is a more safe option. After obtaining this build, take IE selling a dorans. As quoted from an analysis: sports an impressive early game with cheap and easily affordable items. The triple Doran's and the Wriggle's Lantern will give an early game advantage. By providing attack damage, life steal, health, and armor, farming will be made extremely easy. Furthermore, wriggle's lantern unique passive and unique active helps to provide a safe farming environment. A free sight ward, provided every 3 minutes by the ward, can be used to protect the lane from enemy ganks.Because Phantom dancer is a solid item that provides several factors that are required by any ranged DPS carry: Attack Speed, Critical Strike Chance, and Movement Speed. (

Caitlyn has an advantage in the fact that she can be put with any support bottom lane and still do fairly well, I in conjunction with my support friend, we have tried anything from janna to Leona, all having good success. You must realise as a caitlyn player, you will not burst someone down in 3 shots early game like [imgsmall=champ/tristana.png] can. your damage is more consistent and you will wittle down opponents gradually and get kills by good communication with your support players. [highlight]i will talk about some of the supports here:[/highlight] [img=champ/soraka.png] Soraka is a safe support pick with any champion. she offers sustain both in the mana department, and in health. Her W is very strong with the armor buff. Due to caits range, she allows for a trading of hits then allows for cait to be healed straight back up. In the lane phase, a cait/soroka lane will be difficult to kill, due to correct warding, good trap placement and her healing potential. A bad point, in my opinion is that it is hard to make anything at all happen, although it may be hard to gank her lane because they are unkillable, it is also more difficult, not impossible by any means, to get a gank off for yourselves. This lane turns much into an afk farm lane, with not a lot happening until you reach the transition to mid game. It could be argued that Caitlyn needs to be able to farm safely until mid game/late game, where she reaches her strongest, and i guess that laning with Soraka enables you to do this. [img=champ/janna.png] Janna is my current favourite support to lane with, like my fotm crush or something! I think that janna offers everything you need in a support, baring sustain, but shh. The shield is very very strong on cait throughout the whloe game, it synegises well with her Q, with poke and her ult. At rank 5 janna shield is equal to a BF sword, bare that in mind! With janna you are really forced to a [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] However, this comes down to player skill level. [highlight]IF[/highlight] your janna has a brain, she will shield the biggest incoming damage, this allows for good trade because of: [.] damage mitigation [.] damage buff janna's W, also allows you as cait to get a lot of poke off whilst they are slowed, and in turn with the CC from Q, you can get enough poke to force backs, and even land kills. in the late game janna offers ultimate protection, shield and max peels, including her ult, which resets fights and allows for you to reset position etc. janna can use her ult to set up kills using it offensively also. [img=champ/sona.png] Sona is a strong lane for any AD carry. She lanes well with cait because of her move speed utility, and in my opinion, mainly sonas poke. Cait/sona can really punish non sustain lanes like janna or nunu with their poke, it causes insane zone for the other carry. Sona transitions well into later game offering a very strong ult, her stun can be used just like janna, offensively or for defensive purposes. Sonas ult can make or break fights in lane, and in team fights. She can single handedly zone both support and carry whilst you just farm farm farm. [img=champ/nunu.png] Nunu acctually works very well with cait imo. His W allows for great benefits to cait, allowing headshot to charge quick, and allows for maximum poke, his W also makes up for the fact that cait has no self steriod like graves or trist for example, and therefore they scale very well together. Nunu's E can be used to poke, and like janna, it offers Caitlyn huge chances to get damage off on the target. Due to caits range, she works great with this style of harras, she gets so much poke off with little risk to her self. Let us not forget nunu's ult: [.] Team fight control [.] Forces CC to be used on him whilst you as the AD tear everything up [.] great damage The lane phase can be rough for cait nunu if they take a lot of harras, your [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] should be enough to get you through. Cait/nunu lanes offers what seems to be great kill potential, as well as good zone and harras. [img=champ/taric.png] I think Taric is the strongest lane for cait. The combination is deadly. Before i explain, take a look at this video... [youtube][/youtube] The lock on stun, followed by your [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/w.png], then taric armor shred, then your [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/q.png], timed with [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/p.png] with insta kill anything. Pair this with an ignite, goodbye character. this lane has provided much success for me, and for my teams bottom lane in general. A pro of this combo, it takes little to actually get it off, but it works so very well. [img=champ/alistar.png] I think Alistar is a very strong choice for laning with Caitlyn. he offers sustain, cc, initiate, peels, tankyness, everything you need really. His CC combo of Q and W allows for you to get what is acctually quite incredible damage off, and it allows for you to most definatly land your [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/q.png], which only adds to the burst you'll achieve. Moving into later game Alistar can offer both protection for you, and a good solid initiate for team fights, allows your other CC chains to be done with. The only con of this is, that once he is used for aggressive play, the enemy bruiser will pounce on you, and you'll be stranded. Alistars combination offers good protection in lane for you, and can stop both 2v2 kills and stop you from getting ganked. he offers what seems to be a safe laning phase, whilst also providing strong possibilities for kills. [img=champ/leona.png] So heres my opinion on leona. Leave it for [.] [imgsmall=champ/tristana.png] [.] [imgsmall=champ/graves.png] [.] [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] the more burst orientated AD carries allow for better laning presence with leona, I think that the lane can has some success, and it has for me. However, i think that cait doesnt fully maximise leonas kill potential, and other carries complete it better. Her stuns cycles never the less allow for great poke to be dished out, but in [highlight]MOST CASE[/highlight]S it will not result in kills. Leona does bring fear into your opponents when shes picked, and can zone great just by being there. her tankiness and durability allow her to jump in and dish out lots of CC, but no core burst to follow up. [img=champ/blitzcrank.png] After more consideration and practice with my teams support. Cait and blitz is a very potent combination. The CC blitz brings can only be enhanced by pulling victims onto a trap. This CC chain is remarkable. And will often lead to kills or summoners being burnt each grab/knockup/trap combination you land. i personally think the only truble with bliz, the amount of luck required. Sure, your support blitz can have bundles of skills falling from their body, but blitz Q does have an element of luck attached to it. Another con: [highlight]Alistar[/highlight]. He can counter engage any grab, and really negates the strength of blitz cranks tool-kit. Blitz also scales incredibly well into late game, having the opportunity to instantly turn a fight 4v5. I now give this combination a high score, and would recommend it. _____________________________________________________ Dont choose: [imgsmall=champ/kayle.png][imgsmall=champ/lux.png][imgsmall=champ/nidalee.png][imgsmall=champ/zilean.png] There are in fact my personal opinions. I don't feel that these offers much for Caitlyn in the lane, or in the team fights later on in the game. _____________________________________________________ [highlight]REMEMBER[/highlight] [img=items/sight-ward.png]'s ARE YOUR FRIENDS, YOU CAN BUY ONE OR TWO ASWELL!

I think that you have a strong chance against most, if not all lane opponents you may come against. However, there are some cases which i will talk about: [img=champ/graves.png] Now, it is said that cait counters graves in lane due to her range poking him down. To an extent this is true. Cait can poke him very hard, however, graves usually lanes with soroka, which means insane armor. Cait out ranges graves in every sense, you should be avoiding coming into contact with any of his abilities, auto's, anything. Graves has the potential to do [highlight]insane[/highlight] burst with his combination. so you must be careful, and make sure that any poke, harras you are dealing is actually significant. If played correctly, I put the advantage with cait. I would recommend an aggressive support, someone like ali or taric for this matchup, they offer nice CC and utility and can really have an impact in countering a graves lane. [img=champ/sivir.png] Sivir is still strong, but took a lot of nerfs after her [highlight]GODLIKE[/highlight] period... We were all there, bad bad times.. She has [.] Utility with ult and shield [.] great damage with her Q and W Sivir is known to counter(not hard) champs that use abilites. She can get free mana from your [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/w.png], which allows her to have more freedom when using her Q. This also counters your zone potential with traps, it removes the lane control you have. Sivir can also shield your Q, which does in fact stop a rather large portion of your burst damage, and this can be misleading when fighting, you think you can kill, then she baits, its a very scary situation. Overall, I think this lane can go either way, it is all due to farm, ganks and kills, as well as the amount of global objectives taken. [img=champ/kogmaw.png] I think that kog can be a difficult lane. It is dependant upon support picks and how well both players do throughout early-ish game. He has equal poke with W, but it does more due to %hp damage, and when he hits 6 he can use his ult to bully you out of lane. I would definatly reccomend taking [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png] for this match up. If you have a sustain lane, it is down to your choice, and you ability to avoid his ult. I would not recommend you to 1v1 this guy. [img=champ/tristana.png][img=champ/vayne.png] [highlight]YOU MUST BE CAREFUL[/highlight] to not get insta killed at level 2 by these. You can afford to poke, but being over extended can result in a death. They have the ability paired with ali/leona/taric to pretty much kill you. at this point chances are you dont have net.(possibly take it at level 2 instead) [.] take cleanse [.] take care for a few levels [.] play safe, cs is everything you can, and most likely will beat these lanes if you play them correctly. Vayne and such are hypercarrys, and both have weakish early games. They will fall pray to your superior poke and harras, and if you can take advantage of this, it makes the world of difference. gotta be careful of that damage though, especailly if they are on blue side and take double golems expect to be pounced on. use your [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/w.png] to manipulate and control the lane to the best of your advanatage. Remember though, [highlight]its not all doom and gloom, you have a support to help you![/highlight] [highlight]On a side note:[/highlight] [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] From experience, playing more lanes and more match ups. I think that vayne can he a HUGE struggle to overcome. She rips you apart with her movement, her utility and her great damage. You must play this carefully. take all above into account. [img=champ/ashe.png] Ashe, ashe, ashe... here we go. She is a pain in the backside. She can mostly poke you with W and it will really hurt you if you lack sustian in your lane([imgsmall=items/vampiric-scepter.png] becomes a friend). trading with an ashe can be deadly, and once she hits level 6 this threat increases dramatically. ashe is a very strong champion and the moment, and you should take caution when laning against her. [img=champ/varus.png] In my honest opinion I sometimes struggle laning vs Varus. I find it incredibly difficult to trade with him effectively, and with an aggressive support he can cause serious harm. I would suggest that the try your hardest to poke without getting hit yourself. I think his combo can be deadly when paired with a taric. Have your support help best he can during lane phase. [img=champ/draven.png] [highlight]IN PROGRESS - HAVE NOT PLAYED ENOUGH GAMES AGAINST HIM TO COMMENT REALLY :([/highlight] [img=champ/corki.png] and [img=champ/ezreal.png] Corki has incredile burst damage. And when paired with [imgsmall=champ/leona.png][imgsmall=champ/taric.png] etc, they will hurt A LOT. These have fallen in FOTM carries in my eyes, with them being played a lot of the time in solo queue. I do think that cait can beat these lanes if played well. You must take advantage of your poke in lane, and the zone that you have with traps. Try to make it risky for them to come in, if they start a fight on half hp, its risky. I would also suggest laning with [imgsmall=champ/taric.png]. The Stun and trap combo causes issues for both of these champions, and CC chains with high burst will shut them down. [img=champ/missfortune.png] MF is all about early game, and I think that this is something cait can deal with well. You do have to be careful, she is a big snowballer, and one foot out of place could cause your lane to become a very scary place... for you. Try your best to zone and poke, and farm well. I still think that you are stronger as the game goes on. she has very low attack range, make the most of this.

The early game is very standard for most AD carries. Its farm time. As Caitlyn you want to be: [.] Miss as little CS as possible [.] poke with auto's as much as possible [.] try your best, but do not force skirmish fights with the opposite carry and support, this depends a lot on lane. e.g, with an enemy janna, poke poke poke, fight fight fight. push and bully them out of lane. [.] Try not to push your lane too hard, you will be open to ganks early on if you push to hard, this can be avioded by not spamming your [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/q.png] on waves! remember, if you start blue side, take double golems, puts you in an automatic lead with gold and exp. You and your support can kite the golems taking no damage at all. If the other team are starting blue, you can do a small amount of harras/invasion to stop them, but you MUST be aware of the enemy jungler, you don't want to get double killed in their jungle do you? In early game, decide what you are gonna do with your first set on traps, remember they last 4 minutes! do you; [.] trap your jungle to stop invasion? [.] trap their jungle aggressively? [.] trap mid to zone their AP carry? These decisions must be made when you enter the game, check out items and sort out a game plan! Only then can you make good choices about where to go from there. Your early game laning MUST BE ABOUT FARMING. you must try to not fall behind in cs, like, dont loose minions because you are poking, its not worth it. Sure, if your not gonna loose simple last hits, poke your heart out! As caitlyn you have to make the most of early game and do as best as you can to keep up for the transition in mid game. Prepare for dragon nearing the end of early game and trap/ward accordingly.

[highlight]FARM IS STILL THE MOST IMPORTANT THING[/highlight] Late game is where you shine, farm farm farm. The mid game is the phase of the game where team fights will be emerging, key objectives like dragon, and potentially even baron may be on the cards soon enough. your gold income is what makes you a machine later on, and farm is the biggest contributor. approaching mid game, make sure you have backed and topped up on your build, this allows for the biggest potential when fighting for objectives. When team fights break out it is key that your position is spot on, as the ADcarry you have to ability to pretty much target anyone, in my opinion I feel that you shouldn't be running into the fray of a fight to try and target their AD carry, he has the same idea as you, leave it to the bruisers. not only you, but your support too is responsible for making sure you are safe, you can kite, and get peels from the support player, this allows for a reasonably safe team fight situation. As the game progresses, you, as many other carries, rely a lot more on your right click, rather than your skill set. Caitlyn doesn't have abilities like graves, for example, his E is strong throughout all of the game, whereas caitlyns abilities fall off. Your Q does offer good burst damage, and use your ult to pick off running people.

At this point, [highlight]just melt everything. [/highlight] use your brain in teamfights, [imgsmall=items/elixir-of-agility.png][imgsmall=items/elixir-of-fortitude.png] up, etc etc. You can still farm, farm is never bad mid or late game, it offers for good upgrades, as well as farming for your [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png]. BT stacks are very important, don't miss out on them. [imgsmall=items/quicksilver-sash.png] also becomes increasingly important as the game goes on, you will most likely, if not 100% of the time be the focus of every bodies damage, QSS allows for a good escape and allows for CC to be instantly removed, this can fight changing. E.g, QSS sona ult, tear 2 of them down. Positioning is key for fights, supposing you have farmed correctly, [highlight]this is where you will be at your best. [/highlight] [imgsmall=summoners/heal.png] is still important at this point, it heals a huge amount. Avoid healing when your ignited! Can also be used to boost your teams health in fights. Do your best not to die in a focused burst, you have [imgsmall=summoners/flash.png][imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/e.png] to help you, aswell as your team.

I have covered most team fight elements in the above section: Early, mid, late game. You must know: [.] position is key [.] focusing the correct people is key, but don't be silly and run through 2 bruisers to focus the AP carry, be smart. [.] prepare for team fights by having the correct items. In short: [highlight]Do as much damage as you can, without taking any damage![/highlight] This is just a basic cover, I'd be repeating myself from previous sections. Something that i saw on reddit. All credit goes to SK Candy panda in his graves spotlight. "Positioning is the key to win team fights, especially if you are playing an AD carry. You want to stay behind your team. [highlight]You should NEVER be in front of any tanks[/highlight]. This may cause you getting jumped on, which basically means a lost team fight. If a team fight is started, the enemies tanks/bruisers will jump on you. Try to attack them, despite everyone saying 'lol don't focus the tank, noob', because you won't be able to do more at first. Provided that you have survived the tanks / bruisers jumping on you (also depends on your mates), your time to shine has come. As soon as the AP or AD carry is in your range, switch to him and melt him down. If you can't reach someone squishy without getting dangerously near to the enemies, continue attacking the tank, which is most likely still chasing you and pray that you find someone, who has mispositioned himself and punish him. Either way, you killed something and have more space now."

[img=champ/caitlyn.png] Overall, I think that Caitlyn is extremely fun, versatile and is most defiantly still a viable choice in high elo games. She offers everything that the team needs, and everything the lane needs. She has good lane phase, and can be paired with any support, allowing for an open mind when selecting team comp. I would defiantly recommend you learn, and master Caitlyn! This has been my first guide, and I have tried my best to make it as detailed as possible. I will add more things over time, and will read all comments on improvement(keep them constructive). Have fun! [highlight]~~~Seven[/highlight]
