Hello guys. I'm your average "newish" League of Legends player, currently playing around Silver Division. Altho this is not at all impressive, I've been "studying" alot of League thru my time here, so I know quite a bit. Well gentleman, lately I've come across AD Elise, and I'm quite impressed. I used to play quite a bit of Elise "ap-bruiser" and altho she was really strong, I still always felt something's missing. And I dare to say that here it is: AD Elise! (Keep in mind that I havn't explored her to her full extent yet. I'll keep updating this from time to time, as soon as I learn new things. Any help's apreciated)

No big news here I guess. Only the marks I choose to go armor pen. instead of flat AD because your spiderlings benefit from it. Yellows and Glyths the usual duelist armor and mag resist. The Quints I use flat AD cuz it helps quite a bit with last hitting, but if you feel you don't need them, in the long run armor pen are probably stronger.

I felt the need of this chapter to explain this: WHYYY ELISE AD!??? Well, in my opinion it works mostly because [imgsmall=skills/elise/w.png] in spider form. It gives you 140%(!) atk speed for 3 seconds. This is nothing to scoff at. I see Elise AD as old Nidalee AD was, being the major differences: -you don't have to be in the bush to benefit from extra movement speed(also the increase isnt as big) -your atk speed boost is in your melee form. Some good things about Elise AD: -Your Q in both forms will still do good damage, mostly early game. It's % damage, so a Q in humon form to a full hp enemy will always deal a chunk, while a Q in spider will still finish them off. -Your [imgsmall=skills/elise/r.png] gives you free resistances, movement speed, and bonus damage on auto atack while in Spider form. This will let you build more hp while still having some good resistances. (in the current meta this is great) -Strong duelist. -By the time you get trinity force, if you get the full duration of your Spider form's [imgsmall=skills/elise/w.png] on someone, it will hurt! -Tankier than ap elise, so you can make more use of the spider form. -Very good assassination potentitial. As for downsides: -You loose in burst when compared to Elise AP. -Your ranged harass isn't as strong. -You don't have alot of AoE. It's not really good in a team that needs AoE damage. -You max W for the spider form, but in human form the damage starts to fall off very fast. Altho early game it still does quite a bit of damage you can't rely on it too much or you'll be out of mana very fast. So, here we go!

[title] Passive: Spider Swarm[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] You get spiderlings when you transform into spider. You have to use spells on human form to get the spiderlings, but you usualy dont even have to think about this. Spiderlings end up doing quite a bit of damage, pretty solid passive. [title] Q: Neurotoxin/Venomous Bite[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] Human:This will be your main source of harass during early laning, coupled with some auto atacks. Don't use it when they start going under 50%hp as the damage really falls off. Lategame the damage falls quite a bit because probably enemy will build some magic resist, and you wont have penetration. Either way can provide a bit of harass before you turn into spider. Spider:This will be even more useful. Will have the same falling off issues as human form, and also not really worth it when they have alot of hp, but it will help you proc [imgsmall=items/sheen.png]. For example, you hit W for the atk speed, you will proc Sheen, near the end of W you hit Q for the health% damage and another sheen proc. [title] W: Volatile Spiderling/Skittering Frenzy[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] Human: This is mostly for Elise AP. As AD you don't really need to use it most of the time. Altho if you have time during your combo in human form(E->Q), why not? Take care at early game as it drains some (sometimes not required to waste) mana. Spider:This is what makes Elise AD possible. Think Tristana AD, all skils scale off ap, but that 90% atk speed boost.. Elise has 140%! It's a pretty simple skill, but don't forget that it's only 3 seconds, so only activate it when you are pretty sure you will make the most of it. For example, if your waiting to Rappel-dodge some enemy spell, maybe you should hold off the W until he actualy uses it, so you don't interrupt your best skill and then come down from rappel quite useless. [title] E: Cocoon/Rappel[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] Human:This is a fantastic skill. The use is the same as AP elise, stun someone, unload skils, melt him as a spider. You can also use it just to help your team bust someone, by engaging with spider form's E, and then quickly changing into human's E. Never forget that this move is better as Elise Ap, because you when come back to human you can deal quite a bit of damage, while AD won't. Your autos will still be alright, but not as good as AP Elise here. Spider: In my opinion, one of the best/funnier skills in the game. Take care as it is buggy, might make you rage. But it also has alot of possibilities to make the enemy rage. Classic uses: catch up to finish someone, juke to escape, escape into a minion or furthest enemy, dodge important skillshot, etc. [title] R: Spider Form/Human Form[/title] [title]Explanation:[/title] Human:You turn into a spider, doh! Pretty sweet! = P Spider:Great skill. It's also this that make Elise ad so good. It gives you free movement speed and resistances, and also adds a bit of damage to your auto atacks. It's not that big of a deal, but lvl 1 it gives you a bit of extra damage on auto atacks, and it scales a little bit.

I usualy start the game with . I think this one of the best starts right now. You have 4 pots(one more than the boots start) and one elixir that gives you instant health(can really trick enemy into loosing a first blood with a well used elixir) while also giving you more AD for a duration. It also lets you bring a ward to be safe for atleast 3 minutes from the enemy jungler.(if it's not [imgsmall=champ/evelynn.png] or [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png]) From there on it will depend alot on how things are going. -If you are having the usual lane, around same minions as enemy and no kills to either I would go as my first items to rush . -If you are getting fed/winning big in farm, I'd probably work more on snowballing: . -If things aren't going good for some reason, I suggest gettin 1 or 2 to not get too much behind, and then working as you were alright but skipping vampiric septer. Either one of these scenarios, NEVER forget ALOT of . They're yours and your teams best friends. From there on just complete the items as you see fit in every game. As for boots: VS alot of Ap or mixed teams: VS almost no ap(only support) or no ap: For enchantments: Competitive /loosing game: (oh boy, have they saved me sometimes) Winning game: Good offensive choices: - All around a fantastic item for Elise. It gives you every stat you'd want. the AD and AS work well with your [imgsmall=skills/elise/w.png], the extra ap will make your Q's hit for 10% and add little bit of damage on-hit with spider. Hp, mana and movement speed is always good, and the crit kinda stack with your masteries, so you might see some crazy surprise damage while hitting with your [imgsmall=skills/elise/w.png]. With the very recent buffs, Trinity Force is quite good again. - Great item. CDR is quite apreciated, and ad/armor pen is great. The passive works good, your ranged harass will be stronger. Also when your wrecking with W, you'll also be wrecking thru their armor. - Best item to get AD, also gives sustain. Press W, see hp flowing from them to you. Nuff said. - Your team is full ad and they are tryin to take advantage of it? Pull this one off. [imgsmall=items/blade-of-the-ruined-king.png]- I havn't tried it yet. This item works good if you can get alot of atk speed and they have health. Well you can pull off the atk speed, so if you think they'll get a bit of health, maybe this will be better than the blood thirster. The active is also kinda cool. It recently has been buffed, nerfed, buffed, nerfed, it stands practicaly equal to bloodthirster, and since you have no AD abilities so you're not loosing anything. - If the enemy team is basicly all ad, but still have alot of cc, you get ninja tabi as boots, and this for the tenacity. Even not mentioning the tenacity, its all around a good item. Make sure you do have some damage before you build it (triforce is a given, and BT/BotRK/BC). Good defensive choices: - Great item, usualy the best choice. Good hp, a bit of armor to survive their ad carry, and the passive is good. - Another good choice to do practicaly the same role. I'd say you should choose randiuns if you need to focus a high priority target or more tools to protect your carry. The passive is also good vs enemies like [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png] or [imgsmall=champ/tryndamere.png] - Even after the recent nerf, still a good item, mostly on Elise. Since in spider mode you have 25 armor and mag resist for free, the great ammount of hp wont just get shreded. - Havn't tried, but seems fairly good. The thing is, I think Elise would benifit from more hp, and usualy your supp/jungle end up doing this. If nobody in your team is building this and you think you can benefit from this, go ahead. VS AP LANE- If your vs an ap lane and not winning hard, you might consider rushing . It will really help you dueling them. Upgrading it to the when you see fit. This item is also good in pretty much any game, unless they have none or very close to no ap. Attention: I still haven't tested it, but I think this item is borderline OP atm. I'm pretty sure that with this activated and your W, you will MELT anyone. You can try it out, as I will and update soon.

Later on I'll update this. But just to give an overall idea: Early game: As with any other champ, just farm farm farm. Altho with Elise against certain matchups, you can be scouting firstblood. Everytime you see your oponent full hp, drop a Q on him as a human. It'll hit for quite a chunk. Try to couple it with some autos. But only do this if you know how to harass and still farm, otherwise try to farm up for your core. Keep in mind Elise, even as AD has quite good harass early game. Harass alot from distance, if your enemy gets around 50% health low and comes too close to your minions, always punish him hard on spider form, and maybe even kill him. Never forget the enemy jungler, be more agressive if you see he's very far away, and more cautious when he's MIA. Mid game: Elise is really strong here. Just try to catch priority targes with your E. Otherwise wait for your engager(probably your jungler) to do it, and then either protect your carries or try to assassinate theirs. You should hardly ever initiate, unless there's a clearshot at one priority target. This phase is mostly Dragon/Baron phase. Make sure both are always warded, and with vision wards sometimes.(work it out with your team, but never forget you should [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png]! Bringing around [imgsmall=items/sight-ward2.png] everytime you back until you have full gear is a general rule) Late game: Usualy the game doesn't get here. but if it did, I think your in luck. Elise might not be a lategame beast such as [imgsmall=champ/vayne.png]/, but your still pretty good. Better than AP Elise in my opinion. Keep the same mind as in mid game, but altho in this phase dragon is pretty useless, so always be around the baron when it's up.

So here it is. I think Elise AD is quite viable at the moment. In the right team composition it can do wonders. But don't take my word for it, go try it out. And then please come and give me your opinion, any advices/ideas are also greatly apreciated. GG WP!
