Hello :D! Welcome to my Annie guide! Annie has been a favorite champion of mine ever since her visual update and several kit changes. I've played Annie primarily in Mid lane where I believe she can hold her own and then some in the current meta. Annie offers a variety of tools for your team, most notably her devastating flash ult combo on unsuspecting enemies. Annie has a place at any part of the game, being relevant early on with her lane bullying and roaming potential to late game, where a single well placed AOE stun can turn the tide of battle in an instant! [imgext=] Currently I have just above a 70% win rate with Annie, I just hit Diamond on this account and have peaked in ELO around Diamond 1.

Look to be aggressive in most match ups with exception when facing [img=champ/xerath.png][img=champ/syndra.png][img=champ/morgana.png][img=champ/mordekaiser.png][img=champ/malphite.png]. Annie's auto attack range is 625, which should out range most champions you'll be facing mid lane. Use Q as well to get some harass off, when running low on mana lay off the champion harass a bit and build mana back up again with your Doran ring passive+ 0 mana cost Q. You'll want to play aggressively most times as Annie, always position yourself on the side with a ward somewhere in river. You'll be pushing lane early on with how well you can last hit with your Q, making it inevitable to end up near the enemy tower. Outside of the occasional Q thrown at the enemy, your general harass spell rotation should be a Passive charged Q> W> Auto attack. This will get decent damage off and overtime will lead to kill opportunities.

You'll want to look to roam in the mid game. Grab mobility boots and do work. Your crowd control and burst damage will be welcomed at either top or bottom lane. Use pings to communicate your movement around the map, allowing your team to setup your arrival. When laning past level 6, grab a pink ward and place it in either brush in the river. The vision this offers is invaluable, granting not only you but all of your team vital information on the enemy jungle whereabouts, your opponent roaming, as well as that enemy support looking to make a play mid lane.

In team fights, you'll want to focus on getting a good Tibbers off. Make sure to have at the very least 3 charges on your passive if not 4 when doing so. Landing a Tibbers on 3 targets is optimal, however, taking out one of your enemies carries in an instant is just as good. If the enemy team is looking to hard engage on your team, or if you're just behind, look to peel for your ADC. Make it difficult for the enemy front line to get damage off on your carry while dealing damage right back at them.

•Don't look to play aggressive against certain champions such as [img=champ/brand.png] [img=champ/chogath.png] [img=champ/lulu.png] [img=champ/malphite.png] [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] [img=champ/morgana.png] [img=champ/syndra.png] [img=champ/xerath.png] •Don't rely on auto attacks exclusively when last hitting, Q makes it so much easier and costs nearly nothing but 2-3 seconds of time until the next Q is back up. •Don't hold onto 4 charges of your passive in lane unless you're certain of a kill opportunity. You'll certainly miss CS, and your lane opponent will play extra cautious making it difficult to get any harass off. •Don't forget to ward. You're going to be playing aggressively, and as such you need to keep tabs on any incoming potential threats. •Don't let your lane opponent roam with no consequences. Either shove the lane when you know their absent or roam yourself.

[img=items/athenes-unholy-grail.png] You won't be running into any mana issues whatsoever, and you can obtain the CDR from an assortment of other items and masteries. Athene's offers very little offensive stats as well. There's just no need for this item in your build. [img=items/lich-bane.png] Similar to Nashor's, your auto attacks shouldn't be your main source of damage in a fight, your AOE burst damage is what makes you lethal.

Annie is incredibly fun and pretty basic to play. Her play style is entertaining with how aggressive she can get in lane and in team fights, it feels great having your well placed ultimate being the deciding factor in a team fight. I hope you've gained some knowledge on Annie with my guide, I'll be glad to answer any questions!
