Hi I'm Pants are Dragon, an ex-CHALLENGER solo queue player, also subbed for complexity once in the NACL (as [b]ELISE![/b]) and I've been playing since the release of Nocturne, my first champion was Teemo and I grew in love with his champion select quote \"Captain Teemo on Duty\" and ultimately the game. I actually didn't make my name, it was given to me by Riot! My old name was jlzzdragon and then Riot changed my name to this and I feel like I was trolled to oblivion, but at the same time I grew with great power, and from that day I knew I would be one of the best! For those interested, here's my summoner profile: [center][imgext=http://gyazo.com/f8ebc309a04126ee22e20f449451708f.png][/center] Kayle is a high sustained damage AP carry, has one of the best ultimates in the game when utilized right, one of the strongest damage late game and a good amount of CC. She is preferred as a mid laner because she just scales real hard with AP but can be a decent jungler becuase of her clears and her ganks, though won't scale as hard since Junglers tend to have less gold than laners. Obviously she's a better solo laner but I've just made this guide for her in the jungle for people who want to try her out. I feel that Kayle has a decent early game start, and as he gains some levels her clears become really fast. Her ganks early though are terror as her damage is insane in ganks, and if she can get in range of her slow and start whaling on the enemy, also shredding the enemy's armor so your ally can do some more damage onto the enemy. Usually when I jungle Kayle, I have the mentality of ganking 50% and farming 50%. Early on in low levels though you'll probably want to find some ganks as her clears get better when she gets some levels into her E and spirit stone. Most of the time if you get in range of your Q and the enemy has no escapes, expect to get a kill though, and once you earned your ultimate you can do potential dives and of course when you need to save someone from dying or a counter gank, boom divine shield to save his ass. Always keep tabs on your blue buff/red buff and do them immediately or have some ward coverage so the enemy jungler doesn't steal it, he will steal your red buff (blue side) if you're ganking top and he notices you started there and it's 7:15 minutes. These are general rules I go by, but if you can get a kill and lose a buff it's worth it in my opinion so if you think you can get a kill go for it. Some Junglers out there will not keep tabs on their buff, and at 7:15 if you know he started blue on purple side and you see him ganking top, that's a free blue for you. Little notes like these will make you a better counter jungler and player. [center]GANK COMBO[/center] Basically, a successful gank for you early game must require you to get in range of Q and once that's done just put on your E and auto attack, make sure to fasten up with Kayle's W to reach your target. Then once you've reached your target your going to do something called studder step which if you ever played starcraft and kiting with marines then you'll know what it is, but if you don't then basically it's just auto attacking and then in between attacks you move while you wait for your next auto attack to come up. So keep up with your enemy by getting closer to him each time you auto attack and moving closer each time. But other than that the ganks don't require much mechanics except running up to the enemy. Once you get your ultimate, it doesn't really add to ganks since it doesn't do damage but what you can do when you obtain it is you can have potential dives on people who are pushed up to their tower and I think it's greatest utility is for counter ganks and using your ultimate on the one who is being focused and then they blew everything on the person with the divine shield so if you ever find a counter gank, make sure to read the enemy's spells incoming onto your ally so you can prepare the ultimate to block the damage from the enemy. Kayle is a decent duelist. not the best early game duelist but if she can dodge all the skill shots and all the burst from someone, she can turn on them and if she has the ability to kite them and just whale on them then go for it as she is a ranged champion vs melee. Most early game junglers though can out duel her. [center]When to do Dragon[/center] - Bot Lane is dead. Reason: When doing dragon, it would be a 4v2 if they try to contest it. - You see bot lane recall and your mid and bot lane help do dragon (your team has to have immediate reaction from you and your teammates). - Mid laner down. Reason: Mid is basically worth 1.5x of an ADC early game, because of the level advantage. So you have a clear advantage at dragon. - You feel confident on doing it. You feel that the enemy team won't contest, feeling more powerful, etc. - You can solo it if you are level 9, have spectral wraith and blue buff. - Vision warded or sweeping lens'd, can solo or ask for some help.

[b]How to Effectively do Jungle Creeps[/b] Level 1 : E - AA Level 3: Q - E - AA [b]Blue Side Route[/b] 1. Red (smite) 2. Wolves 3. Blue (smite) 4. Gank or Super Wraith 5. Wolves 6. Wraiths 7. Golems [b]When ganking:[/b] - Usual Combo: W - Q - E - AA [b]Purple Side Route[/b] 1. Blue (smite) 2. Wolves 3. Red (smite) 4. Gank or Golems 5. Wraiths 6. Wolves 7. Super Wraith Buy Spirit Stone + Boots + pots + wards [center]Ganking Mid Lane[/center] Kayle ganking mid brings a long slow, but not really a lot of burst damage but if you can start whaling onto the enemy mid laner she can bring him down easily. Although if the enemy has an escape still up it's better not to try to fight it. If you are level 6 you can do a dive on him if the enemy jungler isn't around and just kill him. I still recommend ganking long lanes though. [center]Ganking Bottom Lane[/center] The hardest lane to gank, this lane is probably the trickiest to pull off as everything is warded most of the time. I will be talking about this from blue side perspective. Ganking this lane with Kayle is going to be good, since you have a lot of options if you can get in range of the enemy without them noticing. Kayle can do potential dives, can apply a lot of damage when she can start getting the auto attacks off and is pretty good at counter ganking with her ultimate.The longer the enemy is overextended the more damage Kayle will do, since her slow does last pretty long. Just watch out though, Kayle is pretty squishy and can easily be turned on. [center]Invading[/center] Start with E as it is Kayle's most damaging skill, if you REALLY need CC start Q. [center]Dragon[/center] The dragon comes up every 6 minutes, knowing when to dragon is key, remember its every 6 minutes and you need to have some sort of advantage most of the time when doing it. [center]Baron Nashor[/center] The Baron comes up every 7 minutes. [center]Counter Jungling[/center] Kayle is not the greatest counter jungler, as her only escape is her W and ultimate. She can't really duel most champions unless ahead and she is vulnerable to getting collapsed on. Her clears are pretty fast so I'd only counter jungle if I can get in there safely. A good way to go in there jungle is when you have vision of the enemy jungler, having that gives you an idea of what to do in a jungle for example, say he's ganking bot lane at 7:15 when he should be getting his buffs is like saying free buffs for Kayle [center]Counter Ganking:[/center] Find your enemy jungler, then set up in a place where he will come and you can come kill the enemy jungler or whoever is squishier with your allied laner, make sure to pick a target that you can burst and your ally knows it, or else the disperse damage could cause you to die. If Kayle can get to a gank and save her ally from dying, she can come in and do a whole lot of damage since they will be trying to focus her ally so they'll be likely to have no cooldowns up and can't kill you. [center]How to Spike Objectives[/center] E-Q + smite.

Mid game you should have Spirit of the Spectral Wraith, Sorcerer's Shoes and should be building towards Nashors, and you'll actually be outputting a lot of damage with this. If you are ahead, build Rabadon's Cap otherwise, if behind I recommend you building Void Staff. This is where also the best team fights come alive, since everyone is around level 13 and multiple variables happen instead of late game where it's peel for carries and kill the crowd controlled guy, refer to team fights section for what to do with skills and mindset. In the mean time, keep trying to maintain dragon control, try to find kills to pick off. Kayle is bad at sieging since she has no poke and should be looking for team fights more likely since she does a lot of sustained damage while bringing a lot of utility. Try to find objectives to secure if you have an advantage and push with your advantage. Also you should be keeping track of objectives on timers like dragon and baron, 6 minutes for dragon and 7 minutes for baron. Team fighting will be referred to the team fights section so remember to look at that!

At this point, Kayle should have a Rabadons Deathcap and should be building towards Void Staff or Lich Bane depending on the situation. Void Staff if the enemy is building magic resist while Lich Bane will help you do more damage, even with the nerfs it's still a decent item. Kayle's late game is very strong, her AP ratio's are what let her do so much damage and just make her a monster late game, doing one combo on a squishy could potentially bring them down to 1/4 HP and her ultimate is annoying to deal with, while her heal is pretty good for sustaining. Trust me, she will do so much damage late game, and no one wants to face a late game Kayle. Just make sure not to get caught out of position, or to get CC locked and just stay in the back until the team fight has started, you shouldn't be the one initiating fights and let someone else initiate.

What is your role in a team fight? : Peeler, Carry, The peeler, is the one who should be trying to kill everyone in the front line. The carry, is the one who will be doing the most damage in the fights and tend to be squishy. What do you do with your skills? [img=skills/kayle/q.png]- This should be used to damage whoever your focused target is, and is very straight forward. Always use when off cooldown. [img=skills/kayle/w.png] - This should be used to heal whoever is low, or if you already know you've won the team fight to speed up someone who can chase down the enemy. [img=skills/kayle/e.png] - This skill is basically going to be used whenever you can, as with 30% CDR it should always be up and you just use it for the ranged increase enhancement. [img=skills/kayle/r.png] - This skill can be game breaking and it's a crucial ultimate to use, knowing how and when to use it is key to winning team fights. The way I see using it is that I will put it on someone who is being focused, if they got caught out of position and the enemy is going to use everything on him I will try to use the ultimate before the damage comes. If it's a tank though I will just think otherwise and save it for a carry like me or the ADC or someone that does damage. I would never use it on someone at a low HP because their just gonna die after and yes it looks clutch to save them at a low HP but why not just save it for when you see a high potential of incoming damage? [center]What positioning should you have?[/center] Stay in the back, just attack whoever is in front and just constantly DPS like a Marksmen. You are the primary source of damage for your team so I recommend you to try to survive and not dive 1v5 onto their backline. If you see someone trying to dive onto your carry (ex: Irelia, Jax) you MUST switch focus to them so your carry can keep doing damage and not die in the team fight. He can kite enough and deal damage to him especially with you locking down the target with your slow. Once your HP is low, you should start using your ranged moves to damage people and of course avoid dying, being safe and surviving the team fight is crucial as you'll want to be alive to either recall and get your HP back or to obtain objectives with your team / Remember you want to always be surviving throughout the whole fight and that's your goal, but you still want to have presence in a fight even with low HP since you have a lot of ranged skills and can heal people.
