Greetings All! I am the Jungler for TSM.Epik (originally Epikgamer) or whatever you want to call us and I will be giving you my guide for Nautilus. Nautilus is becoming somewhat of a FOTM jungler (especially in the competitive scene) and in his current state is a very strong jungler that plays somewhat as a supportish jungler with strong ganks (means he's not a carry jungler such as Nocturne/Shyvana). He is a hero that brings alot of utility through his mass amount of slows and crowd control spells. He also deals a surprising amount of damage with his shield up which may surprise many of opponents. Armor yellow is standard jungle runes for survivability Scaling Magic Resist blues for best bang for your buck Movement speed quints for faster clearing and better ganking The quints are the only ones that I would sometimes change. I will sometimes use armor quints instead of movement quints if they are heavy ad and I think i'm going to get counter jungled (by Mundo/Shyvana for example).

Staggering Blow cannot trigger on the same target more than once every 12 seconds.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Good passive that helps with ganks, peeling, and catching people. [title][img=skills/nautilus/q.png] Q: Dredge Line[/title] [number]Nautilus hurls his anchor forward. If it hits an enemy unit, Nautilus drags himself and the target together dealing 80/120/160/200/240 (+75% of ability power) magic damage and stunning them briefly.If the anchor hits terrain, Nautilus will drag himself forward and the cooldown is reduced by 50% (7/6.5/6/5.5/5). Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 mana Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds Range: 950[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Pretty easy to land because it's so huge (the anchor). Generally you want to walk up to the person try to auto them and snare them with your passive and then press E to slow them. After they flash or when they're fleeing is when you want to grab them. Hooking someone to start a gank is generally a bad idea unless you have people to follow up. [title][img=skills/nautilus/w.png] W: Titan's Wrath[/title] [number]Nautilus surrounds himself with dark energies, shielding him from the next 80/130/180/230/280 plus 10% of his bonus health (+10% of bonus health) damage for up to 10 seconds. While the shield persists, Nautilus' basic attacks apply a damage over time effect to all units around his target. The effect deals 30/60/90/120/150 (+40% of ability power) magic damage over 2 seconds. Cost: 80 mana Cooldown: 26/24/22/20/18 seconds Range: 350[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Really good spell that you need to max first. Makes you tankier, deal alot more damage, and clear your jungle quicker. [title][img=skills/nautilus/e.png] E: Riptide[/title] [number]Nautilus slams the ground, causing the earth to explode around him. Each explosion deals 60/100/140/180/220 (+50% of ability power) magic damage to units in the area and slows them by 30/35/40/45/50% for 2 seconds. This slow diminishes over time. A unit can be hit by more than one explosion, but they take 50% less damage from additional explosions. Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 Cooldown: 10 seconds Range: 400[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Also a good spell that slows everyone around you and helps with clear speed in the jungle. [title][img=skills/nautilus/r.png] R: Depth Charge[/title] [number]Nautilus fires a shockwave that chases an enemy champion. This deals 125/175/225 (+40% of ability power) magic damage to enemies it passes through and knocks them into the air. The shockwave explodes upon hitting its target dealing 250/350/450 (+80% of ability power) magic damage, launching them into the air and stunning them for 1/1.5/2 seconds. Cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds Range: 825[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Very good ultimate that gives Nautilus another crowd control spell. Try to make it hit multiple people and it will be super disruptive in team fights.

General skill order is W > E > W > Q and then you're good to go try and gank. Sometimes I will get Q (hook) at level 3 if I see a lane is really easy to gank, but for the most part I wait until level 4 because if you fail with your gank, it will slow you down alot because of not having level 2 shield.

Start with [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png]+[imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] for fast clear and ganks [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png]+[imgsmall=items/heart-of-gold.png] - standard for supporish junglers Generally I get [imgsmall=items/boots-of-mobility.png] for easy ganking and then swap them into a [imgsmall=items/ninja-tabi.png] or [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png] depending on the enemy's team composition. Next item is generally [imgsmall=items/aegis-of-the-legion.png] since it's really good for the team and yourself.. also it's very good value for the gold. If i'm doing very well and they have double AP or our team is lacking damage, I may make a [imgsmall=items/wits-end.png] [imgsmall=items/shurelyas-reverie.png] is usually made after Last items to fill up your slots would be [imgsmall=items/frozen-heart.png], [imgsmall=items/abyssal-scepter.png] and [imgsmall=items/randuins-omen.png]

Start with W and go to your wolf camp. Press W at about 1:32 so when you get to blue it'll be up again (shield last 10 seconds). So my usual route would be wolves -> Blue -> wraiths - > wolves again - > red (smite will be up again then) -> wraiths That should make you hit level 4 and you should look around the map for over extended people to gank. As said before, buy [imgsmall=items/philosophers-stone.png]+[imgsmall=items/heart-of-gold.png]. Ganking with this hero is very easy with all his CC and when you hit level 6.. it gets really easy. You can lane gank/river gank and when you get [imgsmall=items/boots-of-mobility.png] you can usually just run straight through lane and gank (hopefully your allies have a slow/stun in their lane, makes it easier to just run straight through).

Mid game is generally when dragon fights happen. By now you should have both your gp10 and if you feel confident enough that you won't die, you should purchase a [imgsmall=items/oracles-elixir.png] to clear wards around the map. Work towards your [imgsmall=items/aegis-of-the-legion.png] and pretty much just farm your jungle, gank over extended people, clear wards, and if dragon fights happen... fight with your team.. you bring a ton of utility/pretty good damage.

Alright now you're heading towards the finish line. Late game is pretty much like mid game for Nautilus except that instead of dragon fights, there will be baron fights. Your still clearing your jungle and clearing wards, but there shouldn't be as much ganking now (unless you can pick people off). Everyone should be grouped up, trying to secure objectives and pushing/defending towers at this point.

Team fighting is Nautilus' forte with his mass amount of crowd control. In team fight's you want to do the following: *Stand in the front, you're usually the one initiating so don't be a pussy *Try to use your ultimate to hit an AD/AP carry so it hits a lot of heroes *When the enemy surrounds you, press E and try to slow everyone down *If you don't have anyone peeling for your carries and have another tank, peel for your carries. [.] Auto attack people running at your carries to snare them with passive. [.] Hook them away from your carries [.]Use E to slow enemies from getting to carries [.]And of course you have your ultimate to also peel if you need it *If you have someone already peeling, you may want to just dive into the carries [.]You should be tanky so if they're hitting you, they're not hitting your allies

Nautilus is a great champion that can definitely get the ELO you seek! As stated before, he has a little bit of a slot start, but after he gets rolling it's tough to stop Shaq's mom. On top of that he's a fun hero to play, compared to the boring ass heroes such as Warwick. -Love Unstoppable
