Fiora is much like a rose, a delicate and beautiful flower, but is quite deceiving... Okay honestly, I had no idea what to do for the title and there were no puns to use ): At least Fiora is suppose to mean flower, so I guess it somewhat fits... '-'

Strengths: +Sustain in lane +Innate high AD +Decently high burst +Chases well +Very strong 1v1 +Does not run out of mana +Dat ass Weaknesses: -[imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] only blocks on-hit physicals (anything that would proc Frozen Mallet/Red buff, including Gangplank's Parrrley and Ezreal's Mystic Shot) -Weaker sustain than many bruisers -No escapes -Fairly squishy [own3d]http://www.own3d.tv/video/492806/Xpecial_s_Comments_on_Fiora[/own3d]

Marks: Armor Penetration Seals: Flat Armor Glyphs: Flat/Scaling Magic Resistance Quints: Armor Penetration [imgext=http://i.imgur.com/V3H6Q.jpg] gives 15 AD at level one and 35 AD at level 9 (rank 5 of the spell), making each point in AD not worth nearly as much as a point in Armor Penetration. Armor and Magic Resistance are standard picks, especially since Fiora is not very mana reliant.

[title] Passive: Duelist[/title] [number]Fiora regenerates health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This passive encourages the short engagements where you use all your spells and immediately backing out (similar to Riven). [title] Q: Lunge[/title] [number]Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a couple seconds at no mana cost. Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing 40/65/90/115/140 (+60% attack damage) physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within 4 seconds at no mana cost. Cost 60 Mana Range 600[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Very similar to Irelia's Bladesurge. Chasing and getting in range to harass is simple with this. Double dashing by using minions is extremely useful for closing the gap. [own3d]http://www.own3d.tv/video/493103/Fiora_Double_Dash[/own3d] [title] W: Riposte[/title] [number]Fiora's Attack Damage is increased. When activated, Fiora parries the next basic attack and reflects magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Passive: Fiora's Attack Damage is increased by 15/20/25/30/35. Active: Fiora parries the next basic attack within 1.5 seconds and reflects 60/110/160/210/260 (+100% ability power) magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Cost 45 Mana Range 20[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Riposte only blocks autoattacks and skills that apply on-hits, meaning that spells such as Warwick's Hungering Strike and Pantheon's Spear Shot are not blocked and do not proc the reflect damage. [title] E: Burst of Speed[/title] [number]Fiora temporarily gains additional Attack Speed. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed. Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. Fiora gains 60/75/90/105/120% additional Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed by 7/9/11/13/15% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. (Assists reduce the cooldown by half of the base amount.) Cost 55 Mana Range 500[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Burst of Speed is Fiora's main chasing ability and steroid. Because of this skill, there is not much need to purchase attack speed items. This skill is extremely similar to Master Yi's Highlander. [title] R: Blade Waltz[/title] [number]Fiora dashes around the battlefield to deal physical damage to enemy champions. Successive strikes against the same target deal less damage. Fiora dashes around the battlefield striking random champions 5 times for 160/330/500 (+120% attack damage) physical damage. Successive strikes against the same target deal 25% damage. The first and last attack will be against the same target. Each strike applies on-hit effects. Cost 100 Mana Range 400[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Blade Waltz is an extremely powerful move that can do up to 2x the stated damage to on a single target. Lifesteal works extremely well with the ultimate and provide free HP gain and a few second of invulnerability. Note: Be careful of using Blade Waltz when near enemy tower as you may end up being in range of it, if the enemy moves back. Most important note: You WILL be surprised at how short the range on Blade Waltz is. Always keep that in mind when chasing.

> > > Maxing over : Just having the 35 AD at level 9 is extremely advantageous and having [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] maxed first means you will do more damage in a 1v1 scenario guaranteed.

Starting: Cloth Armor + 5 HP Potions is a very safe start against a bruiser top lane and will allow you to farm decently against any match-up. [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png] + [imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] is a situational start, but really isn't preferred over the Cloth Armor. Early: Doran's Blades provide a lot of extra sustain for Fiora in lane because of how much bonus AD [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] gives. Boots: OR If going against high CC team or against double AP, take Merc Treads. If not, Ninja Tabi, simple! Path 1: OR Against an AP top lane or a bruiser that doesn't build [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png], this build with a few early [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] will help you win the lane and transition to a strong mid/late game. Path 2: OR 1 or 2 [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] then a Wriggle's ensures an easy lane against any bruiser. Infinity Edge after that will allow you to 1v1 any target in the game with relative ease. After that the path diverges into a question of survivability versus damage. Both builds pretty much revolve around high lifesteal and then focusing on damage, afterwards getting one survivability item. Having high lifesteal benefits from her attack damage and when combined with her attack speed steroid and [imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png], makes it very easy to sustain in a teamfight. On-hit items : This items are all amazing with Fiora's ultimate due to the bonus damage, but it is NOT worth it. Because on-hits do nothing with lifesteal, building these just for extra damage is much less efficient than building attack damage items. : Brutalizer is actually really strong for Fiora, especially with my rune set-up. Against a full team of squishy champions, I would definitely consider this item. : Hexdrinker is another efficient and cheap item. I typically would not build this, even against a double AP comp, but the option is always there. Very cheap item that gives extra MR, bonus HP vs magic and AD, not bad.

Fiona is very effective when playing aggressively. Similar to Riven, Fiora has a lot of poking and harassing power and ways to win trades through her burst and passive. With [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png], there is almost no way for a trade to go badly as being able to play an autoattack, reflect damage AND passively increase your AD by a decent amount is ridiculously powerful. Remember to be extra careful when the jungler is off the map as Fiora lacks an innate escape, making ganks with red buff exceptionally powerful.

Team fights are played out very similarly to Riven. After heavy AoE CC is blown, enter the teamfight and look for a target to bring down, most likely the enemy AD carry. If possible, isolate a target and that target WILL lose in a 1v1 (unless incredibly fed). Always try to use [imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png] after you take some damage to take advantage of the lifesteal and take advantage of the invulnerability to dodge CCs. Because of Fiora's high attack speed and high attack damage, if you ever survive a teamfight and you have that lifesteal, it is very easy to get a lot of HP back quickly from nearby minions or jungle camps. Always look for that opportunity to disengage and re-engage at a later time. Also, Fiora is extremely deadly for both Dragon and Baron. Her bonus damage, attack speed and the ability to block Baron's attacks makes her Baron pressure extremely high.

[own3d]http://www.own3d.tv/video/490943/Xpecial_s_Fiora_Commentary[/own3d]

Fiora is a very strong champion throughout the game. She is not a complex champion and does not have a single skillshot but is still enjoyable. Fiora's single target damage is among the highest for bruisers and has both burst and sustained damage in teamfights. Learning when to engage, how to disengage and when to re-engage will be key to mastering both laning and team fights.
