Unlike his brother Darius, victory in battle was never enough for Draven. He craved recognition, acclaim, and glory. He first sought greatness in the Noxian military, but his flair for the dramatic went severely underappreciated. Thirsting for a method to share ''Draven'' with the world, he turned his attention to the prison system. There he carved out the celebrity he desired by turning the tedious affair of executions into a premiere spectacle. At Draven's first execution, he shocked onlookers when he ordered the doomed prisoner to run for dear life. Just before the man managed to flee from sight, Draven brought him down with a flawless throw of his axe. Soon, all Draven's executions became a gauntlet through which Noxian prisoners raced for a final chance at life. He used this trial as his own personal stage, and turned executions into a leading form of entertainment. He rallied onlookers into a frenzy, while desperate prisoners scrambled to evade him. They never succeeded. Rejecting the solemn, black uniforms of Noxian executioners Draven donned bright outfits and developed flashy signature moves to distinguish himself. Crowds flocked to see Draven in action, and tales of his performances spread quickly. As his popularity grew, so did his already-inflated ego. He belonged at the center of attention. Before long, the scope of his ambitions outgrew the population of Noxus. He decided that the glorious exploits of Draven should be put on display for the entire world. \"'The best' is wherever I decide to set the bar each day.\" [big]WELCOME TO THE GUIDE OF DRAAAAAVEN[/big] presented to you by First things first, go check out Draven's champion spotlight! Keep in mind that Draven no longer has his bleed passive. [vid=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5zyGj4Z0Sg] I've managed to keep over a 60% win rate with Draven nearing on 300 games in 2000ish elo. Draven is in my opinion the best ADC to learn if you want to carry solo queue games as an AD. His potential damage output is unmatched and with enough practice you'll be able to raise your elo higher than Draven's ego. Pros: - Highest damage output of any other ADC - Extremely fun - Can be played in two completely different ways - Easy to snowball - Can work with any support - Draven does it all - With Style Cons: - Very difficult to play perfectly and requires high level mechanics - Low mobility and prone to ganks/hard cc/assassins/etc. - His passive becomes useless at 6 items

In this section I will be making a tier list of supports that synergize well with Draven. Due to Draven's ability to play aggressive or farm equally well, Draven can fit with almost any support reasonably well. Tier 1 I would say Thresh would make it to tier 1 of any chart. He simply has everything a support could want. He works especially well with Draven because he can provide engage/peel/displacement which Draven needs in order to carry the game. Throw your stand aside to make it easier for the Thresh to land his CC. Oh, and CLICK THE LANTERN. Leona is an absolute beast at all stages of the game. If you have a Leona support push for your level 2 as quick as possible to get a cheesy kill. Leona has burst so if she locks down someone throw everything at them and then back off. The only downfall to Leona is if your lane falls behind she becomes useless unless you get a gank or something. A recent support that a lot of players are picking up is Gragas. I love the new Gragas and believe he is a tier 1 support in a lot of scenarios just like Thresh. He basically can do what Thresh does but is more tanky. Tier 2 If a Morgana can land her bindings, add her. One of the most annoying things to deal with bot lane is the truck size hit box that snares you for a half hour, and Draven can take full advantage of them with his speed and damage. Combo your ult with Morgana's cc level 6 and you're sure to get a kill. Anyone with speed buffs can greatly assist Draven in his attempts to snowball. Use your Stand Aside to assure that Karma gets her binding off on the opponent. Nami has speed buffs, peel, and sustain, so you can choose to farm up your stacks or snowball the lane as you guys see fit with this combo. More tiers coming soon~

the removal of Draven's bleed Draven lost his tier 1 laning phase. You can get out traded by Lucian, Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, and even some of the weaker picks if you go on their minion wave. Luckily for Draven, stomping lane isn't as big of a deal as it was in Season 3. You can safely farm for 15 minutes, get a lot of stacks, and once you get a kill you'll be dominating. Since farming is our primary focus, you need to learn proper axe control to avoid getting harassed or letting a Thresh/Blitz hook you every 20 seconds. With Draven it is important to acknowledge that your axes' destination is set after it hits its target. This means that you can throw your axe, walk backwards, and your axe should land relatively close to your walk path. The same goes for extended trading. Throw your axe at the champion, walk forward, and your axe should fall on top of you so you can throw out another auto. Draven gets a big buff from AD, so if you can farm until you get a you'll be doing good. If you back though, and don't have the gold go for it get some sustain items like . See \"Build Order\" for more info.

Outside of lane you have two options: you can either bleed your damage into the other lanes, hoping to pick up kills or push objectives OR you can continue to split push your lane, stacking up your passive. There is a lot to take into consideration when making decision, but a good rule of thumb is to look at the other AD. See \"Champion matchups\" for what you should do against a specific AD. Other than that you should be farming off of your jungle, pushing down waves when they are on your side of the river and GROUPING. The team that groups first wins first is a good rule to live by. It is especially important to group with your team when you finish off a big item. If you finish your and go back to that Wight camp you are losing out on Draven's passive and ability to get items over your opponent. You might as well be playing a hyper carry at that point.

Draven's team fights are very difficult to get the hang of. You really need to control your axes and not let them put you in harms way. It is also top priority to keep them spinning because you are the ADC. It is your job to pump out a continuous stream of damage and if you don't have your axes the other AD will be doing more DPS. Hit your closest target, move left, right, and backwards to keep safe, and throw your ult in the middle of everything or to get executions. Save your stand aside to disrupt assassins and help you kite. Team fights are hard to teach, the best advice I can give you is to play a lot of games because they are so dynamic that you basically just need to spam games to get the hang of how to play them.
