[title][img=skills/yorick/p.png] Passive: Unholy Covenant[/title] [number]Yorick's basic attacks deal 5% more damage for each summon that is active. Meanwhile, Yorick's ghouls have 30% of Yorick's Attack Damage and Health. [/number] [.] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] Basically makes you do more damage with each active minion, not too major until you get lots of AD [title][img=skills/yorick/q.png] Q: Omen of War[/title] [number]Yorick's next attack will deal 30/35/40/45/50 (+100% of attack damage) physical damage and summon a Spectral Ghoul for up to 5 seconds. The Spectral Ghoul deals 8/16/24/32/40 additional damage per hit and moves 15/20/25/30/35% faster. While the ghoul is active, Yorick moves 15/20/25/30/35% faster as well. Cooldown 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 seconds Cost 40 mana[/number] [.] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] Very similar to Trundle's Q [.] Deals bonus damage on your next auto-attack [.] Spawns a minion that deals damage over time and increases movement speed based on rank [.] [highlight]TAKE NOTE[/highlight] that when activating the skill, it will reset the auto-attack timer, meaning that you should always use it immediately following a successful auto-attack [.] Use this when your in that 1v1 situation and you need that extra burst damage to gain the upper-hand [.] Increases dps so use it frenquently when fighting enemies [title][img=skills/yorick/w.png] W: Omen of Pestilence[/title] [number]Yorick summons a Decaying Ghoul that arrives with a violent explosion, dealing 60/95/130/165/200 (+80% of attack damage) magic damage and slowing nearby enemies by 20/25/30/35/40% for 1.5 seconds. While the Decaying Ghoul remains alive, nearby enemies continue to be slowed by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% for up to 5 seconds. Cooldown 12 seconds Cost 50/55/60/65/70 mana Range 450[/number] [.] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] Deals instant AoE damage at the target location [.] Slows enemies in the target location [.] Spawns a minion that deals damage and slows enemies around it until it dies [.] Can be used to block skill shots [.] Use this for that initial burst to gain the upper hand vs an enemy [.] Use it to gimp an enemy escape [.] Use it to farm [.] Excellent for keeping the enemy at bay [title][img=skills/yorick/e.png] E: Omen of Famine[/title] [number]Yorick deals 55/85/115/145/175 (+100% of attack damage) magic damage and heals for up to 50% of the damage dealt. A Ravenous Ghoul is summoned behind his target, which heals Yorick for the damage it deals and lasts up to 5 seconds. Cooldown 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Cost 60/65/70/75/80 mana Range 500[/number] [.] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] Instantly heals you for a set amount [.] Heals you based on damage dealt by minion [.] Use this to stay in lane early and mid game [.] Use it to provide slight burst to your enemy when fighting [.] Use it on cooldown if you think that you need the heal to survive the fight / stay in lane [.] Think of this as a HoT (Heal over Time) [title][img=skills/yorick/r.png] R: Omen of Death[/title] [number]Yorick conjures a revenant in the image of a target allied champion. Revenants deal 50/75/100% of target ally's Attack Damage. If his ally dies while its revenant is alive, the revenant sacrifices itself to reanimate them. Revenants and reanimated allies lose 10% of their maximum Health per second. Cooldown 120/105/90 seconds Cost 100 mana Range 700[/number] [.] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] Similar to a Zilian ult [.] Spawns a copy of the target to fight for a set amount [.] If they target dies, he will instantly respawn with full health and mana [.] Upon spawning, the reanimated ally will slowly lose percentage health until it dies [.] Should be used very similarly to a Zilean ult [.] Use it on the enemy's main focus - keep your allies (or yourself) in the fight for longer

[title]Why did you choose that skill order?[/title] [img=skills/yorick/w.png] [.] This is your Bread and Butter [.] Does the most damage of the 3 spells [.] Ranged nuke [.] Provides a hefty slow which allows for optimal ganks and chases [.] Can be used defensively to escape [.] Makes farming entire minion waves easy as pie [img=skills/yorick/e.png] [.] This is leveled along with your E [.] Provides tons of lane presence and staying power [.] Does decent damage [.] Allows for optimal farming [img=skills/yorick/q.png] [.] Very similar to Trundle's Q [.] Does decent damage - Huge nuke if you have your [imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png] [.] Increases movement speed by quite a lot [.] Easy last hitter [.] Chase down enemies easier [center][title]__________________________________________________________________[/title][/center] The reason for why I actually max these first is quite simple. Your W is your only ranged nuke, and provides a huge slow - So I level it first. Afterwards, both your Q and your E greatly benefit you mid and late game, both having their own unique roll to how it might be useful - So I level them together! :P

[center][title]__________________________________________________________________[/title][/center] [center][title]Boots[/title][/center] [img=items/mercurys-treads.png] [.] The boots of choice [.] You are melee, getting these will make your life a lot easier [.] Reduces cc time [img=items/ionian-boots-of-lucidity.png] [.] Get these if the enemy team lacks CC [.] More cdr = more minions = more damage [img=items/berserkers-greaves.png] [.] Get these if you lack damage [center][title]__________________________________________________________________[/title][/center] [center][title]Damage Items[/title][/center] [img=items/trinity-force.png] [.] This is your go-to item on Yorick [.] 95% of the stats on this item greatly benefits him (Damage, Health, MMS, AS, etc...) [.] Stacks with your [imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png] which makes it extremely powerful [.] Build it for the same reason you would build it on Trundle [img=items/manamune.png] [.] Provides all the mana you'll ever need [.] Provides tons of AD once you get your tear farmed [.] Allows for optimal last hitting as you actually benefit from using spells to last hit [img=items/the-brutalizer.png] [.] Increases early-game damage output by a lot [.] Provides plenty of cdr [.] Allows you to spam more ghouls [img=items/atmas-impaler.png] [.] Drastically increases your AD once you have built up some decent Health [.] Allows you to take more harass via minions, ad champions, towers, etc.. [.] Provides a really nice AoE slow which should be used during team fights [.] Be sure to build an early [imgsmall=items/heart-of-gold.png] if you plan on getting this item [img=items/thornmail.png] [.] Generally you don't want to build this item unless their team is AD Heavy [.] Build this if the enemy team has a really fed AD Carry [.] Provides a shit ton of Armor [img=items/warmogs-armor.png] [.] Provides a TON of Health and Regen [.] Synergizes really well with [imgsmall=items/atmas-impaler.png] [.] Makes you a lot more durable during team fights [center][title]__________________________________________________________________[/title][/center] [center][title]Things to Always Buy[/title][/center] Always assist your team in buying [imgsmall=items/sight-ward.png]s Once Mid-Late Game kicks in, feel free to start buying [imgsmall=items/elixir-of-fortitude.png], [imgsmall=items/elixir-of-agility.png], and [imgsmall=items/oracles-elixir.png]

You generally want to take top or mid solo. Determine who your vs'ing and try to pick the item that will make early game easiest for you. Laning phase should be incredibly easy as you have an immense amount of heals via [imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png] Try to last hit as much as possible, trying to stay ahead of your laning opponent at all times. Once you hit level 3/4, you can start harassing your opponent via [imgsmall=skills/yorick/w.png] -> [imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png] -> [imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png](if you are in range) Keep last hitting and pay attention to the map, if people are MIA, try to play more passive. If the enemy has a strong jungler who has powerful ganks, try to keep your minion wave pushed to right in front of your tower - unless you feel comfortable last hitting under tower.

Basically keep doing what you were doing early game - with the exception that you should be helping your team ward and keep control of neutral buff camps. You should occasionally gank side-lanes to help your team develop a lead. Try to dragon whenever its possible (MAKE GOOD JUDGMENT CALLS) and keep control of baron. By now your damage output should be mediocre, feel free to play a little more aggressive as you can always just heal right back up afterwards with your [imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png] Don't be afraid to get a little cocky with your lane opponent if you know that you can beat him in a 1v1, play aggressive and add pressure to your lane, if somebody is forced to go help your opponent, tell your team to push another lane or to dragon.

At this point you should be staying with your team at all times - regardless of who's doing what. You want to continue farming neutral camps and ALWAYS keep a sight ward on baron, dragon, frequently used paths. More with the team whenever you plan on ganking an unexpecting enemy. Late Game generally consists of only team fights, pushing, and fighting over neutral camps. Whenever you see the enemy team being out of position and incapable of reacting to your team doing baron / dragon, by all means go for it. [title]Dragon[/title] Some of these situations can be seen below: [.] Enemy 2-man ganking top [.] 2+ Enemies dead [.] You have full map control leading up to dragon via wards / [imgsmall=summoners/clairvoyance.png] [.] You have a strong jungler like Nunu that can nuke the neutral creep harder than anybody else can [.] You know for a fact that they do not have it warded [title]Baron[/title] Some of these situations can be seen below: [.] Enemies pushing bottom (make good judgment calls on this one) [.] 2+ Enemies dead [.] You have map control in and around baron [.] You have a strong jungler like Nunu that can nuke the neutral creep harder than anybody else can [.] You know for a fact that they do not have it warded

Your job in team fights is to go all out on their squishies / carries. You should be fairly tanky and have some good damage output by the time team fights start breaking out. Your goal is to get in the middle of everybody, pop a [imgsmall=skills/yorick/w.png] on as many people as possible, follow it up by a [imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png], and then run up and [imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png] your main target. Keep in mind that your Q resets attack timers - always use it after your auto attack. Pay attention to your team, whenever somebody gets relatively low, [imgsmall=skills/yorick/r.png] them. Keep in mind that you WILL die after you rezz with your ult, so keep fighting and dont try to run if you decided to ult yourself. Keep CC'ing the enemy team and punish their carries / squishies! Simple, right?

Knowing that people like to tab in and out of game while following a guide, I have prepared the following compact guide, which should sum the entire guide up in a short and easy to read section. Skill Order: [imgsmall=skills/yorick/w.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/w.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/w.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/r.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/w.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/w.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/r.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/r.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/e.png][imgsmall=skills/yorick/q.png] Items: [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png][imgsmall=items/the-brutalizer.png][imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png][imgsmall=items/frozen-mallet.png][imgsmall=items/atmas-impaler.png] The brutalizer can be sold later on for more AD. The rest depends on how the game is going, if you need more resistances, build more tank items; if you need more damage, consider building a BF Sword and upgrading it. Take a solo lane and start playing aggressive once you hit level 3/4
