There are still those who would follow the blackest paths of magic and become corrupted by the darker powers that flow through Runeterra. Shauna Vayne knows this fact well. As a young privileged girl in the heart of Demacia's elite, her father tried to convince her of the constabulary's ever-vigilant eye. Young and naïve, she truly believed that her world was one of perfect safety... until one night, when a twisted witch took interest in her father. The malevolent woman overcame her father's conciliar guard, then tortured her family before murdering them. The young Shauna escaped only by hiding herself and then fleeing once the hag had departed, plagued by the screams of her loved ones as she ran. A burning hatred was born in her that day, one that could never be denied. Vayne was able to take care of herself using her father's money, and she began to train as soon as an instructor would have her as a student. By the time she was a fully grown woman, she had become a grim warrior. However, the fields of battle were not to be her home. Demacia needed a protector, one who hunted those lost to the darkness. Shauna used her family's contacts to become the first Night Hunter, and now her prowess is the stuff of legends. It is said that those who practice the black arts quake when they hear that the Night Hunter is on the prowl. Despite her crusade, Shauna has looked at the League of Legends in horror. There are champions who have clearly lost themselves to the blackest of magics, and who have been embraced within the League even though they should be put down for the safety of all. The time has come for the Night Hunter to execute her secret mission – to purge the League of Legends. Vayne Champion Spotlight

[title] [imgext=][/title] [number]Vayne gains 30 flat movement speed when moving towards a nearby visible enemy champion. Range: 2000[/number] Explanation: It is a passive buff that allows you to start without boots. When it's used with another buff like [imgsmall=skills/nunu/w.png] and your Ult, it is impossible for one to escape you. Sadly, it doesn't work when you're escaping, but you're a hunter, not a coward ;) [title] [imgext=] [/title] [number]Active: Vayne quickly rolls toward the cursor and enhances her next autoattack within 6 seconds to deal a percentage of her attack damage as bonus physical damage. This enhanced attack will not proc against structures. Cost: 40 mana Range: 250 Cooldown: 6/5/4/3/2 seconds Bonus Physical Damage: 30/35/40/45/50 % of attack damage[/number] Explanation: Tumble is often used for harassing, escaping or dodging. Use it (with your Ult) to get away or get closer. You cannot hoop over walls, but you can pass through [imgsmall=skills/jarvaniv/r.png] (Jarvan IV), [imgsmall=skills/anivia/w.png] (Anivia) and [imgsmall=skills/trundle/e.png] (Trundle) My favorite combo is [imgsmall=skills/vayne/q.png] to get closer then [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] to stun, after that you attack as much as you can. This is a great steroid for your next attack, also on max rank it has 2 seconds cooldown which allows you to stealth at least 3 times (before lvl 11) when activating your Ultimate. On lvl 16 you can stealth to 5 times during one fight. [title] [imgext=] [/title] [number]Passive: Vaynes consecutive attacks and spell hits on a target will mark them with a silver ring. The third consecutive attack or spell hits against the same target will consume the rings, dealing true damage plus a percentage of the targets maximum health as additional true damage. Damage against monsters is capped at 200. The rings on a target are lost after 3 seconds of not attacking them or upon attacking a different target. Base True Damage: 20/30/40/50/60 Max Health to Damage Ratio: 4/5/6/7/8 %[/number] Explanation: True damage on ADC..hell yeah. In early game it helps you do better in fights, later on it helps you kill even tanks or bruisers. Last Whisper is an item to consider, but if you're doing well you don't really need it next to this spell. Buying The Black Cleaver is also a great possibility because it will make your team fights in late game way more easier, allowing you, like I said, to burst even high-hp enemies(tanks&bruisers). This actually stacks really nice with Attack speed because you deal true damage more often. This skill make you really deadly, no matter do you kill squishy champs or tanky bruisers. [title] [imgext=][/title] [number]Active: Vayne fires a huge bolt at her target, dealing physical damage and knocking them back. If they collide with terrain after being knocked back, they are dealt the same amount of physical damage again and are stunned for 1.5 seconds. This ability also applies one ring of Silver Bolts. Cost: 90 mana Range: 450 Maximum Knockback distance: 470 (estimate) Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Physical Damage: 45/80/115/150/185 (+0.5 per bonus attack damage) Total Physical Damage: 90/160/230/300/370 (+1 per bonus attack damage)[/number] Explanation: She is the only AD carry with this type of CC (beside Ashe, but her stun has 80+ seconds cooldown). Vayne works well with all supports with Tier 1 CC (stun, slow, snare, knock up...) This ability requires vision in bush. You can easily win 2v2 early fights, even on lvl 2. Make sure you position yourself well (positioning with Vayne is in my opinion even harder than with some other ADCs) because otherwise you can just screw everything up and get killed. If you can get a support with decent CC (snare, stun or high slow %) you will probably pin them to wall with minor trouble. You can also use this as another escaping mechanism: while running away, you can knock someone away from you, if he collides with terrain, even better. [title] [imgext=][/title] [number]Active: Vayne increases her combat skills and improves her abilities for a few seconds. For the duration, Vayne is granted bonus attack damage and the bonus movement speed from Night Hunter is tripled. Additionally, she will stealth for 1 second after using Tumble. Cooldown: 70 seconds Cost: 80 mana Duration: 8/10/12 seconds Bonus Attack Damage: 25/40/55[/number] Explanation: This steroid ultimate is very strong and makes her very strong duelist. Activate is just before going into fight so you have increased damage from the beginning. It is great because you gain AD, move speed and even 1.5 sec stealth. Don't waste it if you're not going into fight (f.e. for poking - that's a waste). A great usage of this ultimate is when you need to kill dragon or baron as soon as possible.

> > > As I already said in 'Skills' chapter, this spell is a steroid for your next attack and it also allows you to stealth. Max it first to reduce it's cooldown and increase damage. Your build order: [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png][imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png][imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png] > > > You can max your W agains champions with shorter range(you can poke), tanky AD Carries or supports (Graves+Taric, Urgot, Leona...). It will as well allow you to push lane faster when you need to do it. You can max it when you have a support with decent slow (like Nunu), then you can land 3 attacks while target's movement speed is reduced. Your build order: [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png][imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png][imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] >>> Max your E if enemy has a squishy passive support (Soraka, Sona...) which cannot allow his ADC much safety or burst. The rest of order remains the same (Q>W) Your build order: [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png][imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png][imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png]

[title]STARTING ITEMS[/title] Explanation: After the movement speed has been slightly increased and the price of Long Sword was reduced from 415 to 400, I decided that sometimes you just don't need boots as your first item. This gives you extra damage, also you have 2 potions. This start is not only used for bot lane, but for top as well. It works the best when you have Janna in your team :D Another advantage of this start is that on your first B you can already upgrade it to Vampiric Scepter [imgsmall=items/vampiric-scepter.png] Explanation: This is still a valid start which is also recommended versus champions with skill shots or CC. Gives you a bit more survivability that the first start. It allows you the easier escape if enemy decides to gank, also you have bigger chances to catch someone. Explanation: Another viable start. To be honest, in S3 the Long Sword+2 pots is more profitable, but you can use this with no problem if you know you won't have problems dealing with your opponent and you won't have to recall often because of the lack of health potions. I don't really like taking it as an ADC unless I have a support who can heal me. However, [number]I always buy 1 or 2 on my 1st or 2nd back.[/number] [title]CORE[/title] Explanation: Pretty nice item for all AD champions, gives you a bit sustain, damage and later on you will upgrade it to [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png] Explanation: I was late to discover how great this item truly is on most of ADCs. It gives you early crit chance but importantly, it gives you sooo much gold! Passively you gain 2 gold per 10 seconds, actively you gain +2 gold on every kill (minion or champion). Since you need to farm anyways, this item will allow you to finish the essence of your build pretty early and later you can either sell Avarice Blade or you can upgrade it to [imgsmall=items/statikk-shiv.png] or [imgsmall=items/youmuus-ghostblade.png] Explanation: Does this really requires explanation? You need this item for damage it gives you, beside, later you will upgrade it to [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png] and [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] [title]BOOTS[/title] Explanation: Pretty self-explained. You get them for attack speed. They synergze well with you W, and as an AD Carry you rely on your basic attacks, so you need attack speed. Explanation: They synergize good with your passive. Some people prefer these over Berserkers but personally I like attack speed over movement speed because of Vayne's W. Upgrade to: [.][imgsmall=items/enchantment-furor.png] if you want more fighting boots [.][imgsmall=items/enchantment-homeguard.png] to miss less creeps in early game (gets you faster back in lane) [title]PRIORITIES[/title] Explanation: Self-explained; classic AD Carry item. Attack damage, life steal, damage per stack. Buy it as your first finished item after boots. Explanation: Self-explained; classic AD Carry item. Attack damage, crit chance. Order of IE and PD can often be changed, it all depends what do you need at the moment. I always get BT before IE because BT provides you with sustain and more damage because of it's stacks. Explanation: Self-explained; classic AD Carry item. Attack speed, movement speed, crit chance. Explanation: You are an AD Carry, YOU WILL GET FOCUSED in teamfights. If you want to win, buy GA. It is the most important defensive item for an ADC, sometimes it is even the only one. However, you will see yourself do you need to buy it earlier or later, it will all depend on how good you your progress as a team and how strong the enemy team is. [title]POSSIBILITIES[/title] Explanation: BotRK is very viable item after it has been changed. It synergies awesome with your W. It's active is great for 1v1 (and fights in general) because it heals you while dealing damage to enemy, and speeds you up while slowing enemy's movement speed. You can buy this item in early/mid game, or finish you standard ADC build (or part of it) and then buy it. Explanation: If they have 2 or more tanks/bruisers, go for LW. You might as well have if if they don't have many tanky champions because Vayne+her true damage+LW is pretty strong and enemies will melt. Explanation: If the game is going late but tie, and your team needs to push, this is a good choice. You gain stack with both moving and attacking, also with recalling, teleporting, using Flash..You will get 100 stacks in no time. you also gain movement speed which can be very useful. Explanation: This is pretty much like LW but stronger and gives you just a bit tankiness. Explanation: They have hard CC team and deal mostly magic damage? If the answer is yes, buy this. You can even replace your BT with it. Explanation: Go for FM if you need to be more tanky because you get killed to easily. Also it is pretty good for kiting and escaping since your basic attacks reduce the target's movement speed. My final build usually looks like this, in this order: [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png][imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png][imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png][imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] And as my last item I take something from the 'possibilities' part. I explained there when and why to take each item.

Like I said, Vayne lanes are often burst or sustain lanes. [number]Why are Vayne lanes burst and sustain lanes?[/number] It is simple. Vayne as a champion isn't designed to poke. She has no AOE damage, and her range is pretty short comparing to others. She is a bot lane assassin and that is why she works better with tanky CC supports than with long range poking ones. As for the sustain Vayne lane, not all of them works but I will try to show you guys the best options. [title] Alistar[/title] Effectiveness: Excellent Burst: Yes Sustain: Yes from Ali's [imgsmall=skills/alistar/e.png] Poke: No Pros: -hight burst -very strong lane -much CC -very good at jungle ganks -great escaping mechanism -so much great combos Cons: -can be hard to position perfectly for both Ali and Vayne Tips & tricks: -[imgsmall=skills/alistar/q.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] > [imgsmall=skills/alistar/w.png] -sometimes Ali will have to use his Flash to make a good combo, especcialy if they have a lane with disengaging or mobile possibilities [title] Blitzcrank[/title] Effectiveness: Excellent Burst: Yes Sustain: No Poke: No Pros: -high burst -much CC -strong duo -very viable in late game as well -good with ganks -you shouldn't have CSing and experience problems because enemies will probably stay at distance; Blitz so scary >:) Cons: -can be hard to do a combo (sometimes Blitz can pull) -not very good escaping -requires 24/7 lane bush wards Tips & tricks: -[imgsmall=skills/blitzcrank/q.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] > [imgsmall=skills/blitzcrank/e.png] -keep all of your bush warded -let Blitz try to pull someone in the bush or near any terrain so you can land your E -follow him because he may not have many chances to pull if enemy duo is too careful [title] Janna[/title] Effectiveness: Good Burst: Not really Sustain: A bit Poke: Yes Pros: -her shield that gives you damage and some survivability -can be good if you are laning against CC lane or lane with channeling abilities like Nunu -good at poking with her Q and W Cons: -not many combos -a bit too passive for Vayne Tips & tricks: -[imgsmall=summoners/flash.png][imgsmall=skills/janna/r.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] > [imgsmall=skills/janna/q.png] -tell her to put her shield on you before going in fight because your damage will be increased -if are about to get killed she can save you with her disengaging potential (Q,R) [title] Leona[/title] Effectiveness: Excellent Burst: Yes Sustain: No Poke: No Pros: -high burst -much CC -very strong lane -many combos -great at chasing and escaping Cons: -this lane doesn't really have cons, you just have to know when to go in fight and when not Tips & tricks: -this is actually pretty easy, just use you CC on them, you might want to save one stun to use after enemy uses Flash -make Leona uses her E to dash to enemy ADC -again, try to start fights near terrain -remember that Leona-Vayne lane is very aggressive and if nothing happens, you both will probably suck later [title] Lulu[/title] Effectiveness: Good Burst: No Sustain: Okay Poke: Yes Pros: -her shield -decent CC -great poke -great ultimate Cons: -maybe it will be harder for you to position perfectly because her CC is not that hard Tips & tricks: -let her max her Q and she can poke enemies pretty well, it will allow you to farm and when it comes to killing you will have advantage unless they have much sustain -her [imgsmall=skills/lulu/r.png] can really start the fight over for you and give you more killing potential -let her know to W-E you before going into fight or chasing someone [title] Lux[/title] Effectiveness: Good Burst: So-so Sustain: No Poke: Yes Pros: -great snare with maximum of 2 seconds -good poke -decent damage Cons: -poor shield -can be hard for her to land Q between minions -she should build AP to truly be brilliant; she is better as mid than support Tips & tricks: -let her poke them with her E -[imgsmall=skills/lux/q.png][imgsmall=skills/lux/e.png][imgsmall=skills/lux/r.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] [title] Morgana[/title] Effectiveness: Good Burst: Yes Sustain: A bit Poke: A bit Pros: -she can allow you to farm by using her W -great vs CC lane with her spell shield -great CC (let her max her Q) Cons: -just as Lux, can be hard to land Q; she is more profitable as a mid champion Tips & tricks: -she is pretty much like Lux lane, but has more burst at lvl 6 -[imgsmall=skills/morgana/q.png][imgsmall=skills/morgana/r.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] [title] Nami[/title] Effectiveness: Very good Burst: Very possible Sustain: Yes Poke: Yes Pros: -good CC -good poke -good sustain -increases the damage from your attacks Cons: -not high burst potential Tips & tricks: -[imgsmall=skills/nami/q.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] > [imgsmall=skills/nami/r.png] -there is an option of Nami have AD Marks, putting E on herself and poke with basic attacks and W -try to be close as she uses her W on enemy or you so it can bounce [title] Nunu[/title] Effectiveness: Very good Burst: After his 6 Sustain: No Poke: Yes Pros: -speed buff -great damage on ult -useful slow Cons: -poor CC comparing to others -can't enable you high burst Tips & tricks: -let him heal by taking some of your minions -you need to calculate carefully if he wants to keep his passive active, don't let him push too much -bait enemy in the bush while he ults, use your E so they can't get away -he needs to poke with his E and you try to land a couple of hits while the target is slowed [title] Sona[/title] Effectiveness: Good Burst: After her 6 Sustain: Yes Poke: Yes Pros: -versatile: can be a poking/sustaining or aggressive lane -nice ult -improves your attack damage -can give you movement speed -heals you Cons: -too passive for Vayne -not very useful with Vayne before she turns 6 Tips & tricks: -[imgsmall=skills/sona/r.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] -if you're playing stronger lane, let her poke -if you're playing vs poke lane, let her heal you and poke -purple (E) aura while chasing and escaping -blue (Q) aura while fighting -green (W) aura if whey poke you or they decide to fight but you don't want to [title] Taric[/title] Effectiveness: Very good Burst: Sort of Sustain: Yes Poke: No Pros: -decent sustain -decent CC -gives you tankiness and damage Cons: -doesn't work well against some lanes Tips & tricks: -[imgsmall=skills/taric/e.png][imgsmall=skills/taric/w.png][imgsmall=skills/taric/r.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] [title] Volibear[/title] Effectiveness: Great Burst: Very good Sustain: No Poke: No Pros: -safe farming (scary teddy bear RAWR) -good combo and CC Cons: -burst not as good as with Alistar or Leona for example Tips & tricks: -[imgsmall=skills/volibear/q.png] > [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] > [imgsmall=skills/volibear/e.png] -his passive can secure this duo a kill if you die first -you two can easily catch someone [number]Please don't hesitate to leave a comment and make a request for specific support. If it is just a bit viable with Vayne, I will put it here, if not I will leave you a feedback in comment why that lane doesn't work. [/number]

[title]ANNOYING POKE [/title] [imgsmall=champ/ashe.png][imgsmall=champ/caitlyn.png][imgsmall=champ/kogmaw.png][imgsmall=champ/missfortune.png][imgsmall=champ/kayle.png][imgsmall=champ/janna.png][imgsmall=champ/nidalee.png][imgsmall=champ/sona.png] You will have trouble with these match ups because their range is much longer. If they have a CC support you probably won't have much chance in fight so you need a long ranged support. If they have a poking support, you need a sustainable support. You need a support which can either heal you (Sona, Taric, Nami), CC them from a distance (Lux, Morgana, Janna, Sona) or split them up (Volibear, Blitzcrank). Try to avoid their poke and go for really aggressive support like Blitz to keep them away or someone who has more sustain that their poke. As you can see, I listed the most champions here, and that is because Vayne, with her shortish range, is pretty weak against poke. You will possibly need your jungler to help you, don't be afraid to ask for help but pay attention and recognize the gank. [title]HIGH MOBILITY[/title] [imgsmall=champ/ezreal.png][imgsmall=champ/tristana.png] You may be stronger than they are, but just when you're about to kill them, they jump away. In this case, you again need a long range CC support or someone who can bring them back to the fight, like, again, Blitz or Voli, even Alistar with his [imgsmall=summoners/flash.png][imgsmall=skills/alistar/w.png] combo. Janna is also a good choice with her [imgsmall=summoners/flash.png][imgsmall=skills/janna/r.png] combo or just a simple Q if aimed well. [title]GREAT DISENGAGING[/title] [imgsmall=champ/sivir.png][imgsmall=champ/morgana.png][imgsmall=champ/janna.png] Again, you are stronger but just when you want to pin them to terrain, whoa there's a spell shield and a runaway. Or you start a fight and there is Janna knocking you up and away. You need a support with possibly stun, snare, silence or knock back. This way, while you focus their ADC, your support can try to keep their support away and give you more time to burst the enemy down. you probably won't see a Sivir-Morgana lane, so there is just one spell shield and 2 targets. Increased CC could help you win. [title]CROWD CONTROL[/title] [imgsmall=champ/alistar.png][imgsmall=champ/leona.png][imgsmall=champ/lux.png][imgsmall=champ/sona.png][imgsmall=champ/varus.png] This is not a big problem for you if you just take [imgsmall=summoners/cleanse.png] or buy [imgsmall=items/quicksilver-sash.png] You can as well dodge some skill shots with your Q or just simply by moving aside, you just need to practice it. [title]EASY[/title] All other opponents shouldn't be that hard as far as the natural advantage is concerned. That is where you skill shows, and where you want to choose yourself a good and versatile support. Options are listed and explained in the chapter above. [number]Feel free to ask for specific ADC or support match up and I will provide you with more details. [/number]

1. Farming This is the first and GOLDEN rule of early game on bottom lane. You MUST farm. Some of you may have trouble with last hitting, but it is really not that hard. You can even practice it in custom game. Go alone on bottom lane and farm,farm,farm.. Getting [imgsmall=items/avarice-blade.png] is an excellent choice because every kill (minion or champion)grants you +2 gold and passively you gain 2 gold each 10 seconds. [imgext=] This image shows you the top creep score. If you don't have 240 cs in 20 minutes, don't worry. You will probably lose a few waves while fighting, recalling etc. Having 100-120 is acceptable. 150+ is very good. If you have 200+ then GZ. Sometimes enemy team has a naturally stronger lane or you're getting camped by their jungler and you just can't famr as you should. In that case, use every chance you have to farm and try not to miss any creeps. On blue side, you can take golems when going back or coming back in lane. 2. Harassing Not always possible, but try! If they have bigger range, they will probably poke you, but if you can, harass as much as you can. Usually it goes like this: enemy ADC goes for creep, you hit them. If you have ranged support like Sona, Janna, Nami, they are great for poking as well. 3. Coordination & cooperating This is very important. DO NOT underestimate your support, respect him and cooperate as much as you can. Since this is the only duo lane, it is very important to do so. Supports usually win or lose the lane. To be honest, supporting is really not that easy and it is not appreciated enough. Follow your support if he goes in. The premade bot is great because you can both agree on when to go and when to stay away. [.]In early game your support should buy wards. With Vayne it is desirable to have your lane bush warded so you can land your [imgsmall=skills/vayne/e.png] [imgext=] Circled ward positions are most important. The rest of the are possible to put. I won't go deep into warding because this is an ADC guide. 4. Other possibilities a) When playing on purple side, and enemy team has a blue buff route jungler, you can steal their red buff easily (take your W first) b) When playing on purple side, you can wait for them in tri-bush, try getting the first blood (take your E first) c) When playing on blue side, you can wait for them in the river bush or even at the very end of lane bush, try getting the first blood (take your E first) [title]The bottom lane rule[/title] There is a so called "bottom lane rule" which is not always 100% correct but usually it's true. It goes like this: [.]Poke > Burst [.]Burst > Sustain [.]Sustain > Poke Since Vayne lanes are mostly burst lanes (or possibly sustain), there is a long story short: [.]Laning vs a burst lane: the come out will depend on how good you both are (skill) and how strong are the champions you both are playing (natural advantage) [.]Laning vs a poke lane: the come out will depend on how good can you dodge the poke, and how much time do you need to burst them down. [.]Laning vs a sustain lane: you should have much trouble since you don't really poke them, but kill them in one stroke. I will explain more about Vayne lanes in next chapter. t go deep into warding because this is an ADC guide. 4. 1. Farming While other team mates (mid&top) might already be roaming, you should keep farming. You're AD Carry and you really need your farm. Don't let enemy ADC have more creeps than you do. If he somehow got advantage, try to keep up. There is no harm done with taking wolves, golems, wraiths.. If your tower is destroyed, don't go and push to far unless you have enough wards and you're safe. If you pushed your lane and destroyed the tower, you're maybe out of position to farm safely in your lane, but TRY to find a way to keep you CS getting higher and higher. 2. Fighting If both turrets are up, fighting is pretty much the same. With or without your jungler, have wards, stay safe. At this point enemies will probably start roaming much more, so keep your eyes open, look at the minimap and chat (mia/ss), pay attention, play safe. If your team is fighting, don't leave them. Always help and have that teamwork spirit. This is a team game after all. 3. Roaming You pushed your lane and have a nice CS? Go roam a bit, see who needs help, don't go too far. Don't just roam vainly, if there is no place you can go to help, just keep farming. You can split push as well if the path to reach you is warded. 4. Objectives THE DRAGON Whenever you have chance, go for dragon! Since you and mid lane are the closest to the dragon, it is your job too pay attention and don't miss opportunity to kill it. For example, you did a successful kill on bottom lane, go for dragon. You harassed you enemies hard and they recalled, go for dragon. Your lane opponents are roaming, go for dragon. Remember, you're still on a pretty low lvl, you probably can't do it on your own. So wait for your jungler if possible. The best situation possible is when your jungler has his smite up, chances your dragon will get stolen are very low. RED BUFF Take it as much as you can ENEMY BUFF If you have it warded and it's safe to go, try to steal it. If it's blue buff, you can give it to your support or mid, if it's red buff, take it yourself. 5. Taking turrets down If you're doing well, you don't want to destroy enemy tower too soon. Personally, I hate when Im doing well, mid ally and jungler come and gank, we success and then they take the turret down at 10-15 minute. It just drives me crazy. I want to keep my lane even so I can farm as much as I can. At 18-20 minute mark I take the turret down if I have a chance. You may as well keep it longer. Sometimes the lane is just so equal that you can't even get to each other's tower. In that case, don't worry, something will happen sooner or later. You will probably end up team fighting somewhere else and get in your lane later to push or defense.

This is the time when Vayne's power increases and she snowballs even harder. 1. Objectives Take as much dragons and barons, keep wards on them. Some players don't realize how important objectives truly are. Yes, it's true, sometimes you're just not in position to take them, but that's why I said "take as much as possible" 2. Pushing Push the lane with best pushing potential. Push other lanes afterwards. Split push if needed, but like I said a few time already, make sure you have enough wards and you won't get caught and killed. 3. Defending If you're losing, don't lose hope. I'm sure every player had at least one epic comeback. Even when you're defending, try to keep Baron warded. Try stealing it or doing it your self as a team. They key of defending is to push while doing it. BUT, again. Don't go too far if you don't have enough wards. Enemy team now has the map dominance and can jump out of any bush. Go as a team if possible and by defending, slightly push every lane that needs to be pushed/defended.

[title]TEAM FIGHTS PLACEMENT[/title] Sometimes is not so important where will the team fight be kept. But with the team that has Vayne it is really important to force team fights in jungle so you can use the maximum of your spells and stun the right person. If you were late to a fight, your team is (mostly) dead, don't play a hero and run into 5 enemies with 50% and more hp. Just try to play defensive under tower until your allies spawn. [title]POSITIONING & FOCUSING[/title] Positioning as a Vayne (and any other damage dealer) is really important. You should focus their AD/AP Carry, that is the rule of every fight. But what if that is not possible? What if he is far behind and only way to focus him is going into all 5 of them? Then you should try to just hit the closest enemy (assuming he doesn't have a [imgsmall=items/thornmail.png] or 200 Armor) If you know you can safely sneak from aside or form behind and get to their AD Carry without getting killed, do it. You're Vayne and you're strong. You can even kill offtanks with your true damage. Your team should protect you as they can and you should protect yourself as well. If you are not in position to pin someone to a wall, try knocking him to the most powerful part of your team. For example you knock them into fed bruiser and CC support instead of running for life team mate with 100 hp. You can as well use it to save your ally by knocking an enemy away.

I recommend watching this video carefully to recognize the importance vision over map and positioning as Vayne. It is a pretty decent Vayne compilation and you can see a lot of the things I mentioned in this guide.
