I've been playing Fiora avidly since her release. I always look to pick her every chance I get. She is a very straightforward champion and is super fun to play. She has an extremely high burst potential and chases very well. However, her complete lack of escapes requires a very cautious style of play. She can snowball pretty hard with an early kill/gank. She also gets snowballed on pretty hard as well. Her design can make it quite frustrating to play her in competitive games. You will either crush people or get crushed. (All or nothing!) She does fairly well against a lot of the popular solo tops. However it is ridiculously easy to counter pick her and you should [highlight]never[/highlight] first pick her. Fiora also does great against a lot of mages so consider going mid instead of they counterpick you at top. [imgext=]

[highlight]Why [imgsmall=items/cloth-armor.png][imgsmall=items/health-potion5.png]?[/highlight] -It allows her to stay in lane while trading blows. -she must win trades and armor really helps you do that -she can still hit things pretty well because of her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] even without a boots start -5 pots gives you some room for error. [highlight]Which shoes are the most fabulous? [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png][imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png][imgsmall=items/ninja-tabi.png][/highlight] Ninja tabis are extremely efficient against heavy auto attacker champions such as Riven and GP. You will immediately notice their damage going down. Merc treads are a standard/safe pick as it provides great cc reduction that Fiora is ever so vulnerable to. Take berserker greaves ONLY if you're snowballing really hard. This item will make you snowball even harder. [highlight]Why so many [imgsmall=items/the-bloodthirster.png]?[/highlight] Bloodthirsters are great items for every AD champion but they are exceptionally more awesome for Fiora. Fiora on [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] is going to lifesteal so much very few champs can outdamage/outheal her in 1v1. The 'ultimate' benefit comes from how it scales into your [imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png]. BTs will give your ulti more damage and it fully procs those lifesteal. An almost dead Fiora can ulti and return to full hp while dealing tons of damage. After ultimate is used her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] is up again, that allows her to tank some more damage like a boss. [highlight]Why no [imgsmall=items/frozen-mallet.png]?[/highlight] Frozen mallet is expensive and gives little offensive stat. This is like buying mallet on an AD carry. If you purchase this over a damage item you'll find that you fucked yourself in a teamfight setting where enemies stand their ground and fight you. Fiora's damage comes entirely from items. She has no default ratios on her skills that gives her damage other than a flat AD passive. When you're sitting there duking it out with the enemy carry you better be outdamaging him. You are not here to cc/slow enemies. There are other champions that exist to bring that to the team. Fiora's job is to deal tons of damage. Just [imgsmall=items/phage.png] provides significant increase in your uptime on targets. It does the job without spending too much gold in the wrong direction. [highlight]Fiora is so squishy. Why not build bruiser?[/highlight] There is no reason to play Fiora if you want a bruiser. There are many other champions who can fill that role much better; who are tankier, carry cc, and do more damage with same build. You should avoid building bruiser unless you're seriously getting your ass beat. Metagolem Fioras are very underwhelming. [highlight]Hey what about...[/highlight] [imgsmall=items/infinity-edge.png] It's a pretty difficult choice. Infinity Edge is definitely the single most powerful item for auto attack champions. However, IE is very pricey and you don't get consistent crit benefit unless you get PD with it. If you go IE/PD then you are unlikely to have gold for anything else by the time teamfights start. Unlike other AD carries who go this route, Fiora must be in MELEE range being super vulnerable in order to do damage. You can go this route and win but it's not a safe route. Lifesteal is a big part of being successful with Fiora. At least buy vampiric sceptor or wriggle first if you're going into IE/PD. [imgsmall=items/phantom-dancer.png] "But Fiora already has AS steroid why would you build this blah blah" That is like saying you shouldn't build PD on Grave or MF because they have an AS steroid. The fact still stands PD is fantastic with IE. If you go IE route you should always take PD with you. [imgsmall=items/maw-of-malmortius.png] Contrary to what Riot intended, this item is more fit for bruisers like Olaf than assassins. Fiora doesn't really lose to APs that she lane can against to start with. Maw of malortius is also pretty expensive. Only consider this item if the enemy team has triple AP or something. [imgsmall=items/the-black-cleaver.png] Fiora is an all AA champion with amazing AS boost steroid. The stacks go up to full instantly on targets and BC gives more damage than last whisper against targets without armor items. It gives more AD than last whisper and the AS on it is very attractive as well as it compliments Fiora's AA kit nicely. The only problem here is when you're ulting in a teamfight setting. You're most likely to have your stacks up on the target you hit before you ultied, meaning those 3 hits that are going to hit someone else won't have any armor penetration applied to them. Someone with even 1 chain mail negates quite a bit of damage on Fiora's ultimate. [imgsmall=items/trinity-force.png] Fiora's abilities are not on short enough cooldown to make full use of its procs. [imgsmall=items/ionic-spark.png][imgsmall=items/wits-end.png][imgsmall=items/malady.png][imgsmall=items/madreds-bloodrazor.png] I get it. You want to be special. Well, you sure will be special doing no damage 40 minutes in while AD Fioras are tearing anuses.

[title][img=skills/fiora/p.png] Passive: Duelist[/title] [number]Fiora regenerates health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] A decent passive. You will are constantly regenerating HP while you cs. Try to have it rolling 24/7 by poking your opponent as much as possible. [title][img=skills/fiora/q.png] Q: Lunge[/title] [number]Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a couple seconds at no mana cost. Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing 40/65/90/115/140 (+60% attack damage) physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within 4 seconds at no mana cost. Cost 60 Mana Range 600[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] The key to being a good Fiora is to not use this as an initiator in lane. Try to Walk up to your opponent rather than Q. Blow W and E, trade blows and when they start to back off, chase with Q. [title][img=skills/fiora/w.png] W: Riposte[/title] [number]Fiora's Attack Damage is increased. When activated, Fiora parries the next basic attack and reflects magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Passive: Fiora's Attack Damage is increased by 15/20/25/30/35. Active: Fiora parries the next basic attack within 1.5 seconds and reflects 60/110/160/210/260 (+100% ability power) magic damage back to the attacker. Works against champions, monsters, and large minions. Cost 45 Mana Range 20[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This is an awesome AD steroid that makes last hitting with Fiora a breeze. Riposte does quite a bit of damage early game and making full use of your reflect will allow you to come out ahead in trades every time. Avoid fighting while your W is on cooldown. Knowing when to pop your reflect can be gamebreaking against champions with on hit attacks. [highlight]Examples of what you can block with Riposte[/highlight] [.]Nasus's Siphoning Strike [.]Gangplank's Parley [.]Garen's Decisive Strike (You will still get silenced) [.]Shyvana's Twin Bite [highlight]Examples of what you cannot block with Riposte[/highlight] [.]Pantheon's Spear Shot [.]Shen's Vorpal Blade [.]Malphite's Seismic Shard [title][img=skills/fiora/e.png] E: Burst of Speed[/title] [number]Fiora temporarily gains additional Attack Speed. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed. Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. Fiora gains 60/75/90/105/120% additional Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed by 7/9/11/13/15% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. Killing a champion refreshes the cooldown on Burst of Speed. (Assists reduce the cooldown by half of the base amount.) Cost 55 Mana Range 500[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] This is what makes Fiora good. This burst of AS allows Fiora to land 4~5 AAs in quick succession. It also gives Fiora a massive movement speed boost that allows you to either disengage once AS falls off or continue chasing. Only engaging while you have your E and W is the key to winning trades. Be careful not to pop this early and waste it entirely as this skill is where most of your damage comes from. [title][img=skills/fiora/r.png] R: Blade Waltz[/title] [number]Fiora dashes around the battlefield to deal physical damage to enemy champions. Successive strikes against the same target deal less damage. Fiora dashes around the battlefield striking random champions 5 times for 160/330/500 (+120% attack damage) physical damage. Successive strikes against the same target deal 25% damage. The first and last attack will be against the same target. Each strike applies on-hit effects. Cost 100 Mana Range 400[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Think of this as a fancy execute. You can usually use this with ignite to finish people off in 1v1s. It has many many uses on top of pure damage. [.]Using this right before an enemy is about to flash will keep you traveling with them. [.]Using this on a low enemy during a teamfight guarantees an execution that can't be peeled by cc. [.]You can use this to dodge shit as it makes Fiora untargettable. [.]Use it to kill people under their tower or to survive if they tower dive you. [.]Use it as a defensive cooldown to avoid damage/lifesteal back massive amount of health [.]Use it to overkill an enemy that was probably already going to die anyway. ++ style points

Priority [imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png] - [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] - [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] - [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] Have all skills learned at 3, getting them in the order of [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] -> [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] -> [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] then max them according to priority. [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] gives you more damage than [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] at low levels. However, max [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] before [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] if you're winning and are zoning your opponent (ex. they just run every time without hitting you back).

[highlight]Arp Marks and Quintessences. Armor Seals. Flat MR Glyphs[/highlight] Armor pen runes gives you the most offensive power at mid/late game and helps counter armor runes/cloth start by most solo tops. [imgext=] [highlight]AD Marks and Quintessences. Armor Seals. Flat MR Glyphs[/highlight] However, if you're going against an AP caster, go for flat AD runes over ArP runes. Pure AD will give you more damage against AP casters that are unlikely to have any armor. [imgext=]

[highlight]Jungler is your best friend. Always take extra few seconds to give him a good leash. [/highlight] Begin poking as soon as you hit level 2. [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] guarantees Fiora's victory vs most champions at level 2. Be aware of your opponent's cooldowns and know when to engage. For example, wait out Garen's spin before fighting him to avoid his main source of damage. Her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] allows her to engage immediately whenever you want to. Fiora has a very strong early poke power. She is still fairly new and people don't really know what she's capable of. A lot of the times you can grab an early FB by surprising them with your damage. Use your W at every opportunity to block AAs and skills. Remember to not engage your opponent when there's a ton of enemy minions on his side. Fighting near them will make them turn on you and deal tons of damage. [highlight]Never get ganked.[/highlight] Know what the enemy jungler is capable of. If their jungler starts on the camp closer to your side, never overextend until you see him show up somewhere else. Fiora has no escapes and is extremely vulnerable to even a half decent gank. Fiora is very dependent on items. If you get ganked at lvl 2 and the other guy gets 1 doran blade over you or something, it's quite easy to lose lane completely. I cannot stress enough how important it is to not get ganked as Fiora. Practice absolute vigilant warding. If you don't have wards, don't even leave tower. She is so vulnerable to ganks it's not even funny. When Fiora gets behind, she gets behind HARD. Look at [highlight]Fiora Snowball Meta[/highlight] section for more detailed explanation. Buy many [img=items/sight-ward.png]. This is also one of the reasons why [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png] is so awesome on Fiora. [highlight]Csing[/highlight] As an all AA champ, items are super important. Fiora's [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] passive AD makes it pretty easy to cs even at tower once you get a couple points into it. Slay them minions like they killed your family.

It should be fairly clear at this point who's winning the lane. Take full advantage of your lead whenever you're ahead. Zone your opponent out or Push creep into turret to force the enemy jungler to come top and waste time. (because you'll be well warded) You can invade enemy buffs at 7 min/12 min/17 min marks. Always look for kills whenever you have your ultimate up. [imgsmall=summoners/ignite.png][imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png] combo is amazing and you can gib most champions from 40% with it. Always look for opportunities to help other lanes. Fiora's dashes often allow her to gank through lane because she can catch up to them easily by dashing to a minion nearby -> then to them. Watch the map and recognize when a dragon attempt is coming up and make your way down there.

Late game Fiora has a serious presence in the game. You should be able to gib enemy ad carries/aps from 100 to 0 in full combo. Maintain vigilant warding even after laning ends. Always look to secure objectives. Wriggle Fiora deals truck ton of damage on dragon and baron and can also tank them very well even as glass cannon due to her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] and [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] lifesteal. Fiora kills turrets extremely fast with her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png]. Push out whenever you see the enemy team swarming on a side and you are too far to make it there in time. Never do anything reckless. Losing BT stacks can hurt you quite a bit and Fiora has hard time getting away if she ever gets caught.

Fiora is not an initiator. She is a carry and should always be sitting behind until the front engage. Keep in mind the enemy team wants to focus you down for the win. Her burst potential is supreme. When the fight starts, [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] to AD carry/AP and deal tons of damage with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png]. Don't pop your ultimate just to do damage. If they aren't focusing you at first just save it as a defensive cooldown/ execute. Late game Fiora's damage is unmatched. Her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] melts through squishies. Her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png] allows her to win 1v1s against most ap/ad carries unless she's underfed. Just be careful not to get focused down before you can dish out your damage.

[highlight][title]Easy Lanes[/title] - Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.[/highlight] [img=champ/tryndamere.png]- [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] completely counters Tryndemere. Tryndemere is all AA and getting an auto entirely negated + getting damage reflected by Fiora makes it very dangerous for him to trade hits early game. After 6 [imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png] allows Fiora to avoid taking any damage while he's invulnerable. Save [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] for when he uses dash to chase him. Don't sit near him when [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] isn't up because taking 1 lucky crit during laning can be devastating. Pretty easy lane overall. I can usually zone trynds out completely by level 3. [img=champ/nasus.png] - Block his Q with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png]. Win. He will just rush armor and try to ignore you/farm. Skip wriggle and get BT -> Last whisper. You're going to free farm. Just make his life miserable by hitting him every time he tries to cs. It is pretty hard to kill a defensive nasus that doesn't want to be killed. Deny his CS as much as you can and you'll eventually have enough items over him to kill him. [img=champ/nidalee.png] - Try to make use of your bush. Do not sit there taking her AA spam. Engage her whenever you have all CDs up. Do not chase her into bushes unless you are DEFINITELY winning. It's a common Nidalee tactic to stack traps in bushes and hit you for tons of damage when you step into them. You will win trades but keep in mind that she has a heal and you don't. Don't run into her traps and dodge spears. She just can't beat you in 1v1 and having her cougar form changes nothing. Once you buy [imgsmall=items/phage.png] it's gg for nidalee. [img=champ/kennen.png] - Start boots/3pot. Abuse the bush/sit behind creep to avoid shurikens. Engage him with Q as soon as he uses his shuriken on creep or misses it on you. Although Kennen can easily disengage with his dash, you can still hit him quite a few times because Fiora has TWO dashes. Get away from him for a while if he ever lands a charge on you. [img=champ/vladimir.png] - Never take his Q even if it means missing a cs or two. Only go in to cs when you have cooldowns up and is able to chase vlad if he decides to poke you. Fiora's chase combo will basically put him at half hp every time. Go in every time you have your cooldowns to stop him from regaining HP from draining minions. Don't use your ultimate until his pool is used. [img=champ/galio.png] - Dodge his Q or simply [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] to him as soon as he uses it. His Q fly at a pretty slow speed. He can't do anything but pop shield and run every time. [img=champ/kassadin.png] - You will wreck him. Even after 6 he can't do shit to you because you have two dashes to counter his ultimate jump. [highlight][title]Even Lanes[/title] - Victory belongs to the most persevering.[/highlight] [img=champ/irelia.png] - This is by far the most common matchup. (People love irelia!) Force her to fight you starting lvl 2. Hit her every time she tries to AA an minion. Don't pop [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] until she uses her stun. As soon as its used chase with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] and hit for tons of damage with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] You can easily win trades as long as you fight with your cooldowns up. Rush [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png] after [imgsmall=items/vampiric-scepter.png] to negate her stun. Good Irelias will use ulti aggressively at the first sign of a trade going into a kill duel so be ready to pop ultimate early. [img=champ/warwick.png] - Another very common matchup. Start Doran's blade and poke aggressively. WW cannot beat Fiora in trade. Don't get in range of his Q unless you have cooldowns and is able to chase him. Don't sit there getting hit by his Qs without hitting him back. You must take dominance before he buys his [imgsmall=items/glacial-shroud.png]. Once he has that it becomes very difficult to push him out of lane. [img=champ/shyvana.png] - Her fire ring does so much damage. Bait her to use it, back off, and reengage with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] when she doesn't have it up. Rather difficult to win trades if you don't land your [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] every time. Always try to fight midst creep so every time she does that creep will be pushed your way. [img=champ/leesin.png] - Poke him starting at lvl 1 everytime he tries to cs a minion. Sit next to your own minions to make it difficult for him to Q you. [highlight]If you let him Q you all day you are just going to lose.[/highlight] Shuffle around a lot to bait his Qs. If he ever misses it, its game time. When you're doing a duel to the death, and you're at 40% and he lands a Q, ulti immediately to avoid his Kick -> Q finisher. He wont get to do his second Q and you'll dodge a ton of damage. [img=champ/garen.png] - Fiora's [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] only blocks damage portion of his Q. You will still get silenced. Garen's bladestorm does a crap ton of damage. Back off while he's using it and engage immediately after it ends. Garen is very sturdy and has superior passive regeneration. You will win late game if you both just farm. If you have lightning reflexes you can use your ultimate to dodge his execute. Although he can still use it on you once you get out, it will make it do less damage as you would have gotten some hp back with lifesteal on that ultimate. [img=champ/renekton.png] - If Renekton decides to harass with his Q, [highlight]AA your creep more than just to last hit to avoid getting all waves pushed into your turret[/highlight]. You won't be able to trade him without losing too many minions to the turret if this happens. Renekton has no problem harassing you with his Q while your'e under turret. [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] can block damage portion of his stun. Chase him to fight once his stun has been used. Obviously don't use your [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] until his stun has been used. Same deal as vs Irelia. His ultimate heals him so always ignite early in a kill duel. Very tough match up. Play safe. [img=champ/riven.png] - Riven is a very strong pick and once she hits level 6 it becomes extremely dangerous to fight her. She can burst you from 100 to 0 with her ulti/ignite. Don't even trade her after 6 unless you have your ultimate up. Take full advantage of your early game superiority. When she comes to do her combo, pop W and back away. Once her shield/stun is on cd chase after her with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png]. First person to buy [imgsmall=items/ninja-tabi.png] will gain such a big upperhand. Rush boots before anything. [img=champ/rumble.png] - Start boots. Dodge his shit. It's ok to get hit by one occasionally but it's not ok to get hit by ten and get reduced to 10 hp. Run away when he uses flame. Engage him with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] as soon as flame ends. You will simply out damage him once you get in his face. Make use of your double dash. Careful not to chase him into an open area as he could start kiting you with his slow. Once you're both 6 never engage him without your ulti. If he ults on top of you, you're going to die 100% unless you either ulti or flash. Keep in mind his ult is on a lot shorter cd than yours. [img=champ/gangplank.png] - Block his parley with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] and engage with [imgsmall=skills/fiora/q.png] every time he does it. Avoid going near him when [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] is on cd. If you get hit by too many parleys you're going to lose lane. Don't engage him past lvl 6 unless you have your ult up. If he uses his ulti on somewhere else punish him by going balls out aggressive. Buy [imgsmall=items/ninja-tabi.png] for laning and switch to [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png] for teamfights. Ninja tabi is super effective against GP. [img=champ/wukong.png] - Your [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] can block his main source of damage. Easy lane until he hits 6. Try to ulti earlier than usual to avoid being knocked up by his ulti and taking tons of damage. Always chase after his harass to hit him back. [img=champ/singed.png] - Don't even go near him until you're level 3. Poke him in melee and wait for him to fling you. When he flings pop shit and jab at him. Use Q to dash over the slow puddle he puts down. Don't ever chase him once you exhausted cooldowns. Go back behind creep until you have them up again. Pretty difficult to land kills but you should be Ok. [img=champ/poppy.png] - Don't ever stand next to walls. If you get wall stunned you will lose. If you can avoid that you'll be fine. Poppy can tower dive like nothing at 6. Don't stay if she got you low. [img=champ/talon.png] - You will only have trouble if he chooses to harass you from range all game and never fight you. Creep will be pushed your way if he does this so just farm safe at tower. If he ever misses it engage him immediately. If you ulti too soon it will get canceled when he uses his ulti. Purchase the armor portion of GA early if his damage is getting a little out of hand. [img=champ/teemo.png] - Somewhat do-able pre 6. Don't pop [imgsmall=skills/fiora/e.png] until his blind has been used. Try to make something happen before 6. Once he gets mushrooms there's literally nothing you can do to him. You shouldn't ever die to teemo though as long as you don't chase him too far. His damage is very predictable. Recall often and just farm what you can. Your late game is better than his. [img=champ/mordekaiser.png] - Take the fight to him before he touches the minions. The key to beating mordekeiser in lane is to be aggressive before he forms his shield through creep. You can easily outsustain his damage with tiny lifesteal and regen passive at early levels. If you let him free farm to the point where he just 1 shots each wave then there's nothing you can do. [img=champ/kayle.png] - You do more damage. Be careful not to get caught in an open area with no dash. Kayle slow lasts forever. Abuse to bush. Is he using his range thing to cs? Go in on him as soon as it ends. Its CD isn't short enough to be used back to back at early level. At early/mid game Kayle's ulti doesn't last long enough to block all 5 hits from Fiora ultimate, so don't be afraid to use it. [img=champ/fizz.png] - Fizz dot hurts so much. Definitely buy [imgsmall=items/hexdrinker.png] as your first item. Save your Q to chase him when he uses his jump to get away. The key to beating fizz is to overwhelm him with magic resists. ([imgsmall=items/hexdrinker.png] -> [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png] -> [imgsmall=items/null-magic-mantle.png] part of your GA) Maintain just enough MR to not get 100 to 0ed during his ultimate. If you don't keep that MR level you are going to get farmed every time Fizz has ultimate :s [highlight][title]Hard Counters[/title]- We must laugh at man to avoid crying for him.[/highlight] [img=champ/pantheon.png] - This champions is the real duelist. Pantheon beats so many champions in lane and Fiora is no exception to his overwhelming manhood. You are at complete mercy of your jungler. He has a ranged poke. Fiora does not. He has a stun. Fiora does not. Majority of his damage comes from his Q and E, neither of which can be blocked by [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png]. Buy [imgsmall=items/chain-vest.png] EARLY to stay in lane longer through his merciless spam of spears. [img=champ/olaf.png] - Near impossible. You can compete for like first two levels then he simply outdamages you like wtf. Once Olaf gets a couple points into his true damage he hits like a monstertruck. To put things into perspective, 3 of his E puts Fiora at 10% hp at lvl 6. Good olafs will throw true damage/axe and back off without AAing Fiora. His true damage attack doesn't even cost him mana! Don't go back to lane without pots. Consider rushing Philo. Not as ridiculous as pantheon match up since olaf can't just jump on you, but still pretty hard. [img=champ/jax.png] - Trolololo immune to all AA forever. On top of that he stuns after. To add insult to injury his shield can also block the entire [imgsmall=skills/fiora/r.png]. [img=champ/malphite.png] - You will shed tears of scarlet. He will harass you from range. He will crush you if you try to trade. [img=champ/chogath.png] - SO MUCH SUSTAIN. It's ridiculous. You can literally sit there AAing him and you will take more damage from minions hitting you than the damage you do to him. He heals every time he kills a minion. You could have him down to 10%. He'll just sit at his turret and eat minions at tower and get back up to full in seconds... O_O Once he gets armor boots or chainmail it becomes mathematically impossible to get his health down. Just farm hard and wait for gank. Very boring lane. You can use dash to a nearby minion to dodge his knock up. [img=champ/shen.png] - He has infinite resource ranged poke and is sturdy as hell. He's perma banned nowdays though. [imgsmall=champ/ahri.png][imgsmall=champ/fiddlesticks.png][imgsmall=champ/brand.png][imgsmall=champ/cassiopeia.png][imgsmall=champ/karthus.png][imgsmall=champ/gragas.png][imgsmall=champ/leblanc.png][imgsmall=champ/ryze.png][imgsmall=champ/sion.png][imgsmall=champ/swain.png][imgsmall=champ/zilean.png] - Fiora cannnot lane against these mages. They do too much ranged damage and/or have on demand slow/cc. She will get zoned from ranged harass and if she tries to poke them she won't be able to get out afterward.

Basically 90% of my Fiora losses are from her release week when I tried very hard to jungle her. Like bashing-my-head-against-a-brick-wall-hard. Fiora simply does not belong in the jungle under any real competitive setting. [.]She has no cc and therefore has weak ganks [.]She clears slow and is very vulnerable to counterjungle [.]She needs farm to be good and jungler is always the least fed player on the team excluding support But if you must jungle her then start [imgsmall=items/dorans-blade.png] with AS runes. (This is sometimes the better option than going against a counterpick) [imgext=] You can also go [imgsmall=items/vampiric-scepter.png] start with AD runes but the first option gives her more ganking power. [imgext=] Jungle Masteries [imgext=] Start at red camp and gank top and mid while you have red buff. If you start blue you're very likely to get invaded at red and die, so securing red buff is #1 priority. She has no cc so you must stick in as many ganks are possible while you have the red buff up. Always choose to do more ganks over farming.

I haven't been able to play her in the place of ad carry in the bot lane. People get too angry :( In theory, she shouldn't have any trouble being in the botlane with a support. Her [imgsmall=skills/fiora/w.png] will prevent her from getting harassed too much by the enemy carry while csing and she would have no problem harassing them back either. However, having her instead of an ad carry means you won't have an ad carry to crack towers with in 5v5 mexican stand offs.

In competitive matches of League, it is not too uncommon to see a lane snowballing from gold advantage to a point where its just simply not winnable. Fiora takes this concept to the core in her design. Fiora snowballs really hard due to many reasons; [.][highlight]Her damage quick and is very hard to escape.[/highlight] - Fiora has two dashes and an AS steroid that allows her to hit many times during those two dashes. Her ultimate combo makes her untargettable and allows her to stick even longer. It is not uncommon for me to 100 to 0 someone when I'm snowballing while they can't do anything to escape if I ever catch them. [.][highlight]Her sustain is ridiculous when she's winning[/highlight] - Her AS steroid makes her lifesteal a ton. It is very difficult to break through that lifesteal when she's winning. Even when you manage to get her low, she can ultimate and return a ton of HP. [.][highlight]Fed Fiora is ridiculous[/highlight] - Her damage is delivered very quickly and she has great mobility when she's on the offensive. Unless you can literally open with a cc on her it is rather difficult to focus her down in a teamfight. Being untargettable while dealing damage is a very powerful tool for an ad carry. She beats almost every champion in a 1v1 while staying near full with lifesteal. However, Fiora gets snowballed on by many champions just as hard due to the same design that makes allows her to snowball. [.][highlight]The dashes that allows her to stick well require an enemy target and are near impossible to use defensively[/highlight] - This means that when she loses a duel she has no way of getting out. [.][highlight]She has zero sustain when she's losing[/highlight] - She must hit things in order to lifesteal and proc her passive. She cannot hit things if she can't go in melee range. She can't go in melee range when she is losing as getting caught basically means death. The fact that she is pure melee leaves her with no option to even defensively cs. [.][highlight]Unfed Fiora is completely worthless[/highlight] - Her entire damage comes from AAs that entirely depend on her items. She has no cc or even a slow to bring to the table. She is squishy and is a melee. Being underfed means everyone is going to be outdamaging/outlifestealing her. Her ulti doesn't do much damage if 5 people split it between them. All of this leads to a very volatile lane that can be tipped massively into either side. As a Fiora player you must do everything in your power to tip it in your favor . Since you have no escape you MUST ward well and know where everything is at all times. The penalty for failure is great and you must adopt a very cautious and calculated playstyle in order to be consistently successful with her. If you can't adapt to her playstyle you will find her underwhelming and very frustrating to play. Mastering Fiora can be very rewarding as it will allow you to hypercarry your team. I've had games where bot/mid/jungle all got crushed and I just carried all of them. (Watch vs Renekton replay for an example) Learning her will also improve your overall game as it REQUIRES you to practice warding/looking at map/objectives/cs well.

[title]One replay is worth more than a thousand words.[/title] [highlight]vs Tryndemere -[/highlight] [highlight]vs Singed[/highlight] - [highlight]vs Galio[/highlight] - I grab first blood off enemy jungler that came to gank me. I proceed to snowball and galio never buys armor. Hilarity ensues as I 100 to 0 him all day. [highlight]vs Wukong[/highlight] - [highlight]vs Renekton[/highlight] - I get an early kill and snowball hardcore. Renekton comes back to lane to get killed every time. Mid/Bot/Jungle lose Fiora super carry victory [highlight]vs Gangplank[/highlight] - I get ganked at level 2 and lose another duel at level 5. It shows a great example of what NOT to do as a Fiora. Luckily I make good calls recognizing an invasion and roaming, picking up quite a few kills that gets me back in the game. We overcome a 4 to 0 lead by the enemy team. Finished game with score 13/3/5 [highlight]vs Nidalee[/highlight] - Went against a 1800 nid who was duo queueing. I get early gank from my jungler and snowball. [highlight]vs Vladimir[/highlight] - In this game Vlad roleplayed a 300g minion. [highlight]vs Poppy[/highlight] - [highlight]vs Rumble [/highlight] - Great team snowball. I take early dominance over Rumble as enemy jungler wastes a shit ton of time from an invasion that didn't go very well. I push all waves into turret and head mid to grab a kill. I do this again after a bit and enemy team never really does something about me. I continue to dominate top and roam mid resulting in several deaths by Galio which put our mid very ahead, who in turn roams bot which was our weakest link that resulted in a teamwide snowball. [highlight]vs Talon[/highlight] -
