Do you like to play a champ that is made of heavy metal? Do you like to play a champ that likes heavy metal? Do you like to play a champ that has a big heavy metal mace? Then Mordekaiser is the champ for you. He is fun to play, and can be extremely powerful. He is not very effective in very high elo, but lets be honest, who want to play those boring high elo matches anyway? Too much stress involved and not enough fun. So If you are looking for a fun and relaxed game with some friends or want to play after a long day at work/school, than nothing better than rocking some heavy metal with mordekaiser.

[number]+10.44 magic penetration[/number] ==> Greater damage output [number]+5.85 Cooldown reduction[/number] ==> Since your abilities are spammable why not allow them to be spammed a little more? more spells = more damage + more shield generation. [number]+100 Health [/number]==> Better survivability. Stronger laning phase. Basically this focus on making Mord more tanky and have good damage output and increased shield generation.

[title][img=skills/mordekaiser/p.png] Passive: Iron Man[/title] [number]25 / 27.5 / 30% of the damage dealt from abilities is converted into a temporary shield, absorbing incoming damage. Minimum shield strength is 120 health, and the maximum is 630 health. The shield decays by 3% per second.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] This is the best shield in the game. [.] It is very easy to keep it on all the time and it absorb great amount of damage, making mord very hard to kill. [.] This allows mord to be a great soloer. [.] Keep your shield up. Your enemy will try to cut through it but by the time he completly destroy it you will regenerate it in a second. [.] Armor and magic resistance apply on your shield [.] if you are about to die from Damage over time spells or [imgsmall=summoners/ignite.png] or channeling nukes like [imgsmall=skills/karthus/r.png] [imgsmall=skills/caitlyn/r.png] just run to enemy minions or neutral creeps and charge it quickly. It will save your life. [.] The shield gets a lot stronger as you level up. Making you almost impossible to kill late game [title][img=skills/mordekaiser/q.png] Q: Mace of Spades[/title] [number]On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to 3 additional nearby targets, dealing his attack damage plus 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 bonus damage (+40% of ability power). If the target is alone, the bonus damage is doubled. Cost 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50health Range 600[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] Scales with Ability power and attack damage. [.] Only the first target generate shield. so if the target is alone you will have greater shield generation. this will make mord very hard to kill in a 1v1 fight. [.] Has a 4 sec cooldown at lvl 5. [.] Apply also on you ghost. So remember to activate it if you sent him to do damage while you stay back. For each unit hit, Mordekaiser's shield absorbs an additional 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 18 health. Cost 24 / 36 / 48 / 60 / 72health Range 700[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] The main shield generation ability. [.] Make sure you hit a lot of champions or minions with it. (the more you hit, the more you generate shield). [.] Great damage output and great range. Excellent for harassing and farming. [.] If aimed right you can hit the whole creep wave. [.] Abuse it. [title][img=skills/mordekaiser/r.png] R: Children of the Grave[/title] [number]Curses an enemy champion for 8 seconds, stealing 3 / 3.5 / 4% life per second, plus an additional 0.1% per 50 AP. If the target dies while under the effect of the curse, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds. During this time, Mordekaiser gains 25% of their ability power, and attack damage. The spirit gains 65 / 75 / 85% + (+100% of ability power) of Mordekaiser's adjusted damage, ability power, and 50% + (+100% of ability power) of Mordekaiser's health. Pets can be controlled by holding the alt key and using the right mouse button. Range 850[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] [.] This ability steals life from your target (It will heal you). Remember that. [.] Generates shield [.] Works great with [imgsmall=summoners/ignite.png]. (Remember that ignite's range is lower than your ult range so use ignite first.) [.] Does not create ghosts for champions who died under the effect of [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] or [imgsmall=skills/zilean/r.png] or [imgsmall=skills/anivia/p.png] [.] Use it when you are about to die. The extra shield and lifesteal will save you most of the time. [.] Use it offensively on the enemy carry for getting a strong ghost [.] Use it defensively on a high HP tank to maximize life steal (since it's %) [.] The Ghost's attack generate shield. [.] Can turn a 5v5 fight into a 6v4. [.] Can be used on an enemy mord's ghost, to regain the spirit of you fallen comrade (this is actually funny when it happens) [.] What more do you want from an ult?

In the first 3 level a point in each skill. This will allow you to use the [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/e.png][imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/w.png][imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/q.png] combo for farming and harassing [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/e.png] Should be maxed first with no exceptions. Your best damage, range and shield generation ability. i like to max [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/q.png] second for more single target damage. but you can get [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/w.png] before if you prefer more AOE damage and some more Armor/mr. Obviously get your Ultimate whenever you can.

[title]Starting items:[/title] [img=items/regrowth-pendant.png]+[img=items/health-potion.png] OR [img=items/dorans-shield.png] You basically need to stay in your lane as much as possible. The regeneration from [imgsmall=items/regrowth-pendant.png] and the HP pot will keep you alive and healthy. [imgsmall=items/dorans-shield.png] is a good alternative [title]1st stage:[/title][img=items/boots-of-speed.png]+[img=items/heart-of-gold.png]+[img=items/regrowth-pendant.png]+[img=items/regrowth-pendant.png] Everychamp should buy at least level 1 [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png] on his 1st trip back. Get these items early. [imgsmall=items/heart-of-gold.png] great early defensive item. can be turned later into [imgsmall=items/randuins-omen.png]. The Gold generation helps your already great farming. 2 [imgsmall=items/regrowth-pendant.png] gives you all the regeneration you need to spam your spells. Can be turned later into a [imgsmall=items/force-of-nature.png] Boots: [img=items/sorcerers-shoes.png] or [img=items/mercurys-treads.png] [imgsmall=items/sorcerers-shoes.png] More magic penetration = More damage. Yes plz. [imgsmall=items/mercurys-treads.png] Too much CC? no problem. Remember that mord rely on his shield to stay alive. Stun = no more shield generation = death. [title]Core item: [/title][img=items/rylais-crystal-scepter.png] The best item to get on mord. More Health, a lot of ability power, and the slow. Mord has no CC at all. He can spam his abilities and with [imgsmall=items/rylais-crystal-scepter.png] he will output a constant slow. No more running from the big giant metal monster. [title]Build[/title] Now you have to get a tanky item Mord will be in the heart of the fight so he needs tanky items. Turn your [imgsmall=items/regrowth-pendant.png] into a [imgsmall=items/force-of-nature.png] or the [imgsmall=items/heart-of-gold.png] into a [imgsmall=items/randuins-omen.png] [imgsmall=items/force-of-nature.png] will give him unbelievable Health regeneration. and since the enemy will only be hitting his shield, your HP can regenerate peacefully without being too much interrupted. Magic resist is great and movement speed even greater. [imgsmall=items/randuins-omen.png] One of the best tank items in the game. Health, Health regen, armor, cooldown reduction, slows enemies that attack you, Activate it to slow all enemies around you. (the slow apply on the movement and attack speed) Do I need to say more? Get the one that fits more to the situation. Need magic protection get [imgsmall=items/force-of-nature.png]. Having trouble with some physical champ? get [imgsmall=items/randuins-omen.png] After you get your first tanky item: If your team is lacking good tanks, and they are counting on you to be the tank, get another tank item. (the one that you didn't get before) If not move straight to power items. [img=items/rabadons-deathcap.png] This will make your enemy cry OP on the forums. Not only you are tanky and very hard to kill, But you can output so much damage. [img=items/abyssal-scepter.png] More Ability power and magic Reduction will make you a great burst champ and help your caster teammates. Also the magic resist is great. (One thing to note is that magic reduction can go in the negative making your spells do amplified damage to the target) [title]Late game item:[/title] [img=items/hextech-gunblade.png] If you get to late game, I suggest getting [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png]. This item will add a disturbing amount of damage you can output. You will hit like a truck. You will regenerate Health with the spell vamp and the life steal too fast for them to take away (especially since your late game "almost indestructibly" shield is taking all the damage and not your HP). And remember to activate the active for more burst and slow. Do not rush this item early game, It's expensive and will make your early game weak, since you will take too long to build it and you will be squishy. Get it as your fifth or sixth item. [title]Other good items:[/title] [img=items/haunting-guise.png] This is a great item if you are looking for early game power. The magic penetration gives you better damage output. [img=items/sunfire-cape.png] Great alternative defensive item. Great Armor and HP and add an AOE burn to help your damage and farming. [title]Full build examples:[/title] [img=items/sorcerers-shoes.png][img=items/rylais-crystal-scepter.png][img=items/force-of-nature.png][img=items/randuins-omen.png][img=items/rabadons-deathcap.png][img=items/abyssal-scepter.png] [img=items/mercurys-treads.png][img=items/rylais-crystal-scepter.png][img=items/sunfire-cape.png][img=items/abyssal-scepter.png][img=items/force-of-nature.png][img=items/hextech-gunblade.png] Those are only examples, so you can choose whatever you liked best.

You're the BIG MEAN HEAVY METAL FARMING MACHINE The Best thing is for you to take the solo lane (if you have a jungler) or the mid if you don't. You can handle a 2v1 lane easily and even get a double kill when you reach lvl 6 if they get too cocky. If you don't have a jungler and someone else needs mid more than you go to a side lane with someone who doesn't need to farm (because you will eat most of the minions on the lane). When a minion wave arrive try to hit them all with [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/e.png], put [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/w.png] on yourself and activate [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/q.png] then use autoattack to finish them all. You will push your enemy to their tower so badly that not only they won't damage your tower they won't even see it. They will have a bad time farming under their turret. Keep your shield up to laugh at all the harassing attempts your enemy will try to do. They will eventually feel desperate and ask for a lane switch. Make them unable to recall because if they do you will hit their tower hard. But care for a gank. If they have a jungler always keep a protection wards. And always keep an eye on the mini map. If you don't want to push too much just use your abilities to last hit minions. (You will still push) At level 6 you will have a great burst so consider ganking other lanes (preferably a one with a stun). So to summarize it: 1) FARM PUSH FARM PUSH FARM PUSH FARM PUSH FARM PUSH (TOWER DEAD) 2) Switch lane 3) Repeat step 1 Note: When attacking a tower remember to keep your shield up by hitting enemy minions with your spells in case someone decide to gank you. This will allow safer escape [center][highlight]****************** Trick to do ******************[/highlight][/center] This is a small trick that works perfectly well suggested in the comments by [number]Morni[/number] Thank you. One trick that i like to do, not sure if you ever did this.. I'm going to give you a bit of a setting first so it's easier to explain. - You're 1 v 1 top - both team has a jungler - You're level 6+ - you have the other champion at our 25% life. You push like crazy and bait their jungler to come gank you. You don't want the mid + jungler to come, so keep an eye out. When the jungler comes to ganks.. the laning champion with 25% health will come to help with the gank, because you're outleveling the jungler. Turn your attention the 25% health, E, Ignite, R. The 2 v 1 just turned 1 v 2. note: it also works when you are laning in a 2v1 and one of them is below 25% jump on him, get his ghost and kill the other

"5 champions? what 5 champions? I only see one." [.] When the teamfight start just bruise your way through enemies and go straight to their DPS carry. [.] Unload everything you got on him. [.] Get his ghost [.] Use his ghost to get your penta-kill (I actually got my first penta kill with the help of a ghost master yi) [.] If your target run away. Basically just spam everything you got and try to get the ghost of their DPS carry even if you have to ks. Try to hit as many champ as you can with [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/e.png]. If there is minions around its even better. Don't forget to activate items if you got [imgsmall=items/randuins-omen.png] or [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png]. use [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/w.png] on yourself for more damage or on your carry for more protection.

This is what makes Mordekaiser the "MASTER" of metal Since it's the most important thing on Mordekaiser I created a section just for it. Pets can be controlled by holding the alt key and using the right mouse button. Use it on a DPS carry for the best result. It has a good range to catch a fleeing enemy. Your ghost auto-attack generates shield. On-hit-effect works on you ghost too. so remember to activate [imgsmall=skills/mordekaiser/q.png] when your ghost is attacking. Mord gains 25% of their ability power and attack damage. So while the ghost is alive you will be deadlier. Imagine you get the ghost of a 1000 AP karthus, that's 250 AP for you for 30 second ==> OP Imagine you get the ghost of a 500 AD Masetr yi, that's 125 AD for you for 30 second ==> OP You can use it on High HP tanks to greatly increase your Health regeneration. 99% of times you will get out alive of the gank. You can use your ghost to tank tower, face-check bushes, clear teemo's mushrooms or do all the dirty work for you. Lots of people underestimate the damage that the ghost can output. Deadly mistake. Use your ult with ignite. And remember that the range of ignite is smaller, so always open ignite followed by your ult. Also you will use the 10Ap bonus from the improved ignite masterie. [imgsmall=items/hextech-gunblade.png] active can secure you the ghost. Remember to use it. Nothing funnier than a Kog'maw running away from you with a big metal head above him only to come back after 3 sec and explode on your feet giving you his ghost 1 good ult and the fight is yours to win.

You are now ready to grab your mouse, grab your keyboard and start to rock the field of justice. Remember to put some Heavy metal music in the background for complete Mord domination. Mordekaiser is a lot of fun. You won't see him too much in high elo games because he lacks certain things, but if you are playing games to have fun (what we should all do) then Mord is a must buy champ. I have written this guide in one go and I'm a little tired to check for small mistakes now so any corrections, ideas, suggestions, feedback, criticism (good or bad) will be greatly appreciated.
