These runes are used to build early defensive because to decrease the damage taken early game. In your item build you actually get a lot more armor than you do magic resist. Because of that instead of getting flat magic resist you get per level to accommodate for the lack of magic resist in the build and a leveling opposing lane. You grab yourself a flat magic pen because by the time you've maxed your poison magic pen/per runes would have given less magic pen than flat would. The obvious reason for even getting magic pen is to go right through their magic resist. While getting movement speed quintessences for the ease of get aways during ganks or chases.

[title][img=skills/singed/p.png] Passive: Empowered Bulwark[/title] [number]Increases Singed's health by .25 for each mana point he has.[/number] [title]Explanation:[/title] Gives singed a lot of extra health for building tanky and at lvl one lets him have 600+ health hella good [title][img=skills/singed/q.png] Q: Poison Trail[/title] [number]Toggle: Singed lays a poisonous trail which deals 22 / 34 / 46 / 58 / 70 (+30% of ability power) magic damage per second. [imgext=] Getting your fling first allows you to deal a lot of flat damage at level 1 and even having the chance to grab first blood whether by turret or your team kill them. Your [imgsmall=skills/singed/q.png]Poison Trail is first up to max for the soul reason of it being your farm/harass/damage though while early game poison burns mana and doesn't deal and adequate amount of damage once you max it at lvl 9 it will be dealing an insane amount of damage. After that its more up to you on what you max, I max [imgsmall=skills/singed/e.png]Fling after that for the damage it deals and being able deal and extreme amount of burst damage with the click of a button. I also use fling to get fed by stealing the kill([imgext=]) or finishing the kill since Singed isn't that great of a finisher in teamfights/ganks/ect.

[title]All your abilities promote synergy[/title] All of your abilities have a secondary effect to help you. Here's a list of ways you could harass your opponent even if they were a ranged. [.]Use your [imgsmall=skills/singed/w.png] on the far side of them run up while your [imgsmall=skills/singed/q.png] is activated and then use [imgsmall=skills/singed/e.png] to get a lot of fling damage and poison damage for a nice harass [.]If your lane is a little cocky and won't back away from are (ex. melee lane) cast your [imgsmall=skills/singed/w.png] on an estimated distance behind you, use your [imgsmall=skills/singed/q.png] and [imgsmall=skills/singed/e.png] them right back into your [imgsmall=skills/singed/w.png] allowing you to start circling around them like a shark spreading poison [.]If the enemy is cautious about you running towards them and you believe you have a reliable laning partner(though recommended not required) use your [imgsmall=summoners/ghost.png] if u have it use [imgsmall=skills/singed/w.png] where you will [imgsmall=skills/singed/e.png] them into making sure you have [imgsmall=skills/singed/q.png] on and grab the kill, it is important that you get this kill though since you have just used your ghost to grab them. [.]Last what about your ult, welllllll it does everything use it freely and wisely :D

[title] IM NOT CRAZY[/title] [img=items/catalyst-the-protector.png][img=items/boots-of-speed.png][img=items/tear-of-the-goddess.png][img=items/mercurys-treads.png][img=items/rod-of-ages.png][img=items/frozen-heart.png][img=items/banshees-veil.png][img=items/archangels-staff.png][img=items/rylais-crystal-scepter.png] First things first you rush for the catalyst for extra help in lane allowing you to not have to back as much of course. WHY ARE YOU GETTING TEAR OF THE GODDESS YOU TROLL NOOB, well first of all I'd only get this if I was grabbing a good amount of cash flash its more of the bonus mana seeing the singed does not have a lot of spells that will help you gain stacks. Though because of your passive every time you cast a spell because of the unique effect of the item you gain 4 mana and your passive every 4 mana you gain 1 hp so that means every time you cast a spell you gain 1 hp. Mana for Singed is not actually all that bad because of this passive allowing you to not give a fuck about what your build as long as you stay away from AD. Because of this your able to build a Frozen Heart giving you a grand total of 125hp and a Banshees Veil giving you a grand total of 469 hp, as well these items also give a nice amount of magic resist and armor + Frozen Heart's and Banshees Veil's passive giving your even more of a tanky advantage. You are already are taking a pretty good advantage of getting mana, but your still not using it to its best ability. Grabbing yourself a Archangels Staff gives you and [highlight]EXTRA 100 ABILITY POWER JUST OFF YOU BUILDING TANKY[/highlight]. The Rylais Crystal Scepter is built for the extra hp+ap while probably not actually needing the hp and it allow your abilities to slow the enemy meaning your an even harder target to chase. [title][center][highlight]Fully Built[/highlight][/center][/title] [imgext=]

Early game Singed isn't that great because of how badly he consumes mana that's your reason for building a [imgsmall=items/catalyst-the-protector.png] quickly so that you may stay in your lane as long as possible. The real thing your good for is either flinging them back into your tower landing a good first blood or flinging them back into your laning partner if you have one allowing for a good early game harass. Your poison consumes a hell of a lot of mana and doesn't deal that adequate amount of damage you'd probably want it to, but the damage all changes mid game. When you hit lvl 6 and get your ult [imgsmall=skills/singed/r.png] I use it for cool tower dives, since your able to take 2 and even 3 tower shots your able to fling them back into your poison and deal quite a bit of damage.(though don't be the dumbass that tries to charge and gets CC'd next to the tower and dies. For the most part your real damage doesn't come up till you hit mid-game and have your poison maxed typically.

By this time you should be leaving the laning phase and having your poison already maxed a ready to go. Remember your the lane wolf they chase you into the jungle at this point and end up getting killed. Things you must remember though. [.]They aren't going to chase you when you have full 4k hp so just dick around until then [.]If they do chase and you have a minimal amount of hp left that's good hopefully you will have your ult and/or ghost to help for a great get away a some possible kills on the enemy because of them chasing you don't fret [.]If you do not have your ult or ghost up trick them out first run into a bush and use your [imgsmall=skills/singed/w.png] in the push then keep running the hell away while they are slowed [.]The more ballsy approach though is to hit them head on, when they chase you into the bush turn around and when they get in range fling them further back into the bush the hell away and start running away Thing you need remember is this is most likely going to be the time where you get all your kills from, your poison begins to deplete in damage as the enemy team gets more and more hp your poison will perceive to deal less and less damage because they can gobble up more of it. though that's more late game.

Late game Singed is more based on your ability to bait and your ability for using your skills well. Because of late game many people won't be as fucked when you come by with your poison, but that doesn't mean you still can't get a kill. Most of your late game kills will come from you ability to tower dive so well without taking any damage because of how much hp you had, or even the other team not being able to damage you because of how much resist you have which is epic. Though your not as good alone as you are in team fights unluckily, but even still to anyone it would be hard to take you on 2v1.

Your team fighting is phenomenal, you are the initiator being able to take all their damage and even flinging someone back so that your team will grab the kill. You also force the enemy team back into a checkmate being able to spread a plague to the air around them when they are focused on trying to get kills they will all be taking a lot of nuke damage from your poison.

Singed is one of the best champions for counter jungling. Being able to come up and fling their jungler away from his mob have a possible chance of stealing it and being able to kill them is great. Many junglers think that just because they are a jungle they can 1v1 you no problem when they have badly mistaken. Of course not wanting to alert a jungler's whole team I make an attempt to run circles around their jungler spreading poison trail all over them and even auto attacking, at this point even if they try to get away I'm able to slow them and keep infront of them enforcing them to swallow my green gas of joy.
