Fiora is a top lane duelist that excels in dueling and split pushing. Her kit is designed to make her a 1v1 duelist, and is packed with % health damage, and limited health regeneration and mobility. She has the ability to straight up solo kill almost every single champion past a certain gold threshold, and instantly delete squishy hero from full to nothing, and even tanks in the lategame. If she is able to survive early game and farm up, she becomes an incredibly powerful split pusher with the ability to take 1v2 fights if necessary.

The main drawback of Fiora is her poor laning phase and teamfighting. Her laning phase has been nerfed multiple times since her rework, and her base stats are a little bit on the low side as a result. Furthermore, she is a relatively squishy melee character with only single target damage, generally limiting her teamfighting role to assassination. However, her tools for getting to back line targets are lacking, making preventing her from being an optimal champion for teamfights.

However, Fiora is excellent in duels. Her ability to completely nullify and reflect combat control spells allows her to heavily outplay large odds. Furthermore, her ultimate’s healing in combination with her burst damage can allow her (and her team) to have a soft reset after killing an enemy, which can help her fight multiple opponents at once. Her mechanical skill cap is very high, and the very best Fiora players can outplay themselves out of insane situations. These facets of her playstyle make her an incredible split pusher; one that can win purely via split pushing.

  1. Fiora heavily outscales Ekko
  2. Rush a Hexdrinker into Hydra
  3. You want to parry one of three things: Stand in his W and parry so he can’t pop it, his passive’s 3rd hit, or his ultimate.
  4. Early on, most trades if properly played will go evenly
  5. However, once you get a few items and are able to properly duel and win trades against Ekko, you can start really split pushing and helping win the game.
  6. Against Ekko, you really want to worry about his Sheen spike and early-midgame where he has a lot of kill pressure

  1. She’s really hard to fight in lane and most of the early game
  2. She can always hit you with her Q when you Q at her
  3. She can stop your Q with her W
  4. You can parry her charge, but it’s hard because good Poppy players will play around it
  5. You can’t really run up to poke her since she can lay down a lot of damage on you, and her build path is really good against you
  6. Her passive is really good for poking you as well
  7. Avoid trading with her when she has her shield up

  1. Early lane phase is pretty even
  2. In order to parry his W, you have to be really good with predicting it and timing. This is highly unlikely unless you’re inhumanly good
  3. In lane, you want to get Hydra -> Merc Treads -> Spirit Visage -> Black Cleaver
  4. Ryze is a hard champion to all in since it forces you to take a lot of his damage, and if you can’t survive it you straight up lose

  1. Hard to bully out Maokai since he can outtrade you
  2. He can hit you with his Q really easily, and you have to pop a vital and dodge his spells
  3. On the flip side, you can easily parry his Q and W with his W being the easier of the two
  4. In order to win, your team has to be able to deal with his teleport and 4v4 efficiently
  5. If he gets a good teleport flank and wins a fight while you’re split pushing you will probably lose a big objective or the game
  6. Late game, you should be able to 1v1 him all the time.
  7. Just make sure you parry all his W’s

  1. You can parry his E or Ult
  2. Farm the lane until you get items
  3. Gragas can’t bully you too much, so as long as you play safe you should be able to get farmed up
  4. If you do play aggressively, you can try to force him to back and choose between using teleport or losing farm
  5. In lategame, Gragas doesn’t have nearly enough damage to fight you even with QSS, so if you farm up items properly you should be able to split push the game to victory

  1. You can always parry the Nautilus passive auto
  2. You can bully him pretty easily
  3. Be aggressive in lane; his best tool to trade against you is his E
  4. Trade when his shield is down and your W is up
  5. Q for a vital pop, parry his auto, and just keep attacking
  6. The only thing he really has to fight back with is his E, which isn’t very much
  7. Since he’s immobile, you can all in him constantly with your ulti and force him to back or even kill him
