Why Kassadin?

One of the more lesser played assassins, Kassadin is an extremely strong champion that excels at cleaning up fights, roaming, and picking off squishies. His ultimate, Riftwalk, could arguably be one of the strongest spells in the game, giving him a Flash on a extremely short cooldown. He also is an anti-mage, shutting them down easily, with his passive that reduces all magic damage and his Q which gives him a shield that soaks up magic damage.

As other assassins begin to fall off with their ability to assassinate a single target, Kassadin is only starting his pain train, who has one of the best late-games of any assassin because of how well scaling items synergize with his kit. He is weak at the start of the laning phase, but once he hits level 6, his kill pressure rises dramatically, allowing him to leap onto his opponent or enable his insane roaming capabilities.

Kassadin usually has a hard time in the early game. Unless confident about the matchup, you should play it safe, poke and last hit with your Q, and only be aggressive when you are sure that you can win. You should let the wave be more towards your own tower; Kassadin can farm under tower easily. Just work to outfarm and stay even. Once you hit 6, you can start getting aggressive, and look to kill/roam if you aren't too behind.

However, if you are against a champion like Fizz, Akali, Katarina, or Ekko, you can get aggressive pre-6, because your Q negates most of their damage, and if you can trade with your W/Thunderlord's, you will win most.

You can poop on Leblanc easily (some people pick her, thinking she is a counter). Just use your Q, which negates a lot of her damage, and if she W's up, use your E, and if you are fast enough, hit her with your W. Once you hit 6, you can just wait for her to return to her W, and then you ult onto her and outrade her.

You should be farming/ just getting fed. Kassadin is so/so in the mid game, and it really depends on how you do in the beginning. You should try to roam and do stuff with your team. If you are strong, you might be able to take on more than one at a time.

Play him like you would any other assassin, try to take out their carries, and kill out of position enemies. You can kill a lot more people in one spell rotation than other assassins, you don't have to run away after killing one. Wait for your team to engage, or Zhonya's engage if there is no one else.

Thanks for reading through all of this and sorry for any spelling/grammatical errors.
