Really now your lane matchup section of your guide looks a bit too familiar. Not going to even change the names of important notes/verdict? Regardless I'm glad to see more guides taking lane matchups to heart in detail.
More than helping with last-hitting early on, it helps when you autoattack harass opponents. It does way more to chip away at their HP than 3 bonus AP in early game.
But I agree with Thebigpuma for the wall thing. I usually start with Q, max R and E whenever possible, level W to 3 and THEN max Q, and finish the last 2 Ws at 17 and 18 for the utility.
Regarding talon: Just don't go against him... switch with someone. Anyone with a silence is an anti-Anivia b/c it prevents you from using Q effectively for the stun.
@TheBigPuma There are often times when I will take an early level in wall, but for the most part if you don't level up q you will definately be lacking in damage, it can double proc so every level up is really a lot of damage. The 3 ad instead of the ap is preference, but honestly It's much much better, just think about it a bit. @EndlessEnigma, well played bro hope you got those skillz from my matchup section ;p.
Thanks Tiumus for your great guide! I've played Anivia a long time now but you're guide really gave some additional insight.
Btw: I was playing a ranked game a few days ago where I ended up 16/0/3 against a Kassadin at around 1700 ELO in EU West. I've uploaded it because I think that especially the beginning is really helpful and shows how to ( almost perfectly ;P ) balance harrassing with autoattacks and getting lasthits yourself. The ongoing rest is just fun to watch ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo5GX8txUvM
